!The characters, as they appear in the original WebAnimation/TVTomeAdventures:

!!The Main Five

!!!Associated Tropes:

* GoodWingsEvilWings: Normally his wings are white. In demon form his wings turn black. In season 2 when he fuses the virus into his character as armor he has one black wing and one white wing.
* TheHero: For the most part he leads the group against the hackers is talented at the game, and is possessed by the forbidden power, saves damsels in distress, etc. He gets a lot of character focus.
* MakingASplash: Poseidon Wave.
* OfficialCouple: With Flamegirl.
* PlayingWithFire: Vulcan Fist.
* ShockAndAwe: Zeus' Rage.

[[folder:[=Kirbopher15=]]]

!!!Associated Tropes:

* AnIcePerson: He can shoot icicles with his sword
* BadassAdorable: His character is literally a White Sword Kirby
* BlowYouAway: He can form a tornado with his sword to attack with.
* GreenEyedMonster: Jealous of Zetto's relationship with Ruri, which is somewhat of a meta gag considering that both Kirb and Zetto are based on Niosi himself.
* TheLancer: As a lancer he mostly just serves as a rival for Alpha to surpass. He's made out to be a better fighter for a lot of the series, and given equivalent virus powers. Also while everyone was a bit snarky in TTA he was the closest to being as snarky as GC in the original.
* ShockAndAwe: He can shoot lightning from his sword. He first demonstrates this on a flight character, which we find out are weak to electric attacks.
* TheRival: To Alpha. Who he tends to be pit against during practice fights and tournaments.
* WalkingHead: His sprite is based off of a kirby. So he's pretty much a walking poof-ball with arms and shoes.

!!!Associated Tropes:

* DamselInDistress: Happens to get kidnapped quite a bit.
* OfficialCouple: With Alpha.
* PlayingWithFire: All of her attacks are flame based.

!!!Associated Tropes:

* CastingAShadow: His powers are based off of darkness and shadows.
* DeadpanSnarker: Kirbopher claims the Character Kirbopher inherited this trope from Gamecrazed in the reboot http://kirbopher.tumblr.com/post/24223790237/username-gamecrazed-location-unknown-class
* SarcasticDevotee: He's all for defeating the hacker threat, and he'll never leave the heroes behind, but he's not afraid to tell the crew he thinks their plan is stupid, and/or could get them killed.
* PowerOfTheVoid: His special attack is a black hole
* FakeDefector: He joins the Purple Flame in the last arc, a hacker organization, but he only does it to find out more about what they are planning.

!!!Associated Tropes

* AnIcePerson: Almost all his attacks are based off of ice.
* ArchEnemy: Simdragon. A hacker with a similar draconic dispositon.
* DraconicHumanoid: He's a humanoid dragon. Unlike his DragonKnight version in TOME in TTA he's more of a fighter than a knightly character.
* GratuitousJapanese: He was portrayed as an obsessive anime fan giving himself titles in japanese. His title was "Nairaku Kotetsu Ryu".
* LargeHam / PluckyComicRelief: He was pretty much made out to be a walking joke. He was very expressive, and over reacted to things in over the top ways to get a laugh out of the viewer.
* SelfReferentialHumor: There's a joke in one of the episodes about him not getting recognition like the other main characters. In which he creates a gigantic iceberg kicks it in the air, and lands in the purple cave region, clear across the world of the game. When he lands he says "Aloha" in an over the top hammy way trying to look awesome. He then starts to cry and notes that "nobody's ever around to give a shit".

!!!Associated Tropes:

* BigGood: Pretty much functions as the equivalent of the good commander after the main characters meet him. And uses his powers over code to give the heroes weapons against the viruses.
* GiantHandsOfDoom: Has huge claw hands.
* LightEmUp: The "Submission Seal" finisher shows off this motif.
* FloatingLimbs: Has huge floating claws disconnected from his body.
* ShockAndAwe: His "Admin Hand (Gold)" attack.
* StationaryWings

!!!Associated Tropes:

%%* AscendedFanboy
* BerserkButton: He doesn't like his mushroom head being touched, as Alpha figured out.
%%* GroundPound
* HealThyself: One of the Items that appear from the "OPEN THE BOX" attack releases a 1up Mushroom, capable of recovering a small amount of health.
* PlantPerson: His character is based off of a mushroom.
%%* ProudToBeAGeek
* RandomEffectSpell: His famous "OPEN THE BOX" attack, which can either release a Super Mushroom, 1Up Mushroom, A Fire Flower which releases fireballs, A Star, and a Button that summons up to three thwamps on the field.

!!!Associated Tropes:

* CutenessProximity: Loves cute things, including Kirb himself.
* LimitBreak: when she gets hit enough, she TurnsRed briefly and uses a more aggressive attack pattern
%%* ShockAndAwe
* SmurfettePrinciple: The only female Net King. She jokes that it technically makes her a Net Queen.

!!!Associated Tropes:

* DittoFighter: He's type Mokujin that can change within the same fight, and can use moves the characters he copies before they even know them because of his high level.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Appeared early in the series as Alpha's doubleganger to get a better understanding of him.
* WeaksauceWeakness: He can only copy opponents that are within his opponent's cache (as in, people his opponents have seen and/or fought before). Nailock takes advantage of this and deletes his cache data so he could defeat Ruby easily.

!!!Associated Tropes

* TheAtoner: Seems to genuinely regret his actions when realizing they endangered the Net King's surrogate daughter Motherboard.
* BloodKnight: Developed the Battle System alongside Zetto, though his desire of fighting and being the strongest of TOME isn't nearly as defined. Or rather, as obvious or insane
* DoppelgangerAttack: Can split himself up to three times.
* EyeScream: received a scar from Kagemamaru.
* FireIceLightning: Can use any three of these elements, which is clear by his slight hue coloring each time. Combined with his DoppelgangerAttack, this makes him a tough opponent.
* TheManBehindTheMan: It's revealed in season 2 he was giving Zetto orders and controlling the D-Bug and D-Bug II Organizations from behind the scenes the whole time.

Tsuzuku tells him to go away.
