The Dragonborn/Dovahkiin. Thats her name alongside a few of her well known titles until Chapter 49 reveals her name to be [[spoiler: Diga.]].
Until that point, she's called the Dragonborn/Harbinger/Thane.
Destined to bring down the Dragon Alduin, the Dragonborn is a feisty Nord hero, who fights with a sword in one hand and flames in the other and occasionally fights with bows, spells and stealth tactics. That's not even going into her Werewolf side.
Portalborn is tipped off by her encounter with Doug Rattmann and the Space Core that sets her down the odd path of science and magic.
She's revered by all, but she also has an anger problem...and a memory problem.

* ActionGirl
* AlmostKiss: Barring that one time she was drunk and she had kissed him under the influence, the time in Solitude would count. Until they were rudely interrupted by one of the Dragonborns housecarls.

By fate, the two are stuck together somehow. He comes to live in Whiterun in his own home Gildekin and tends to work on his inventions to better Skyrim as a whole.
* GenreSavvy: Knows that creating a Master AI that does everything is a bad idea, as he's seen from a lot of movies.

--> Brynjolf: I found her lost on one of my jobs. A client wanted something back that they had lost in a bet. So we obliged and went on our merry way. It was in Windhelm and she was sheltered in the dread that was the Grey quarter, even though she was clearly not an Elf. She had unusual markings and clothes and was very...hostile...stubborn even. The clothes on her back weren't giving her proper protection, and she was freezing. She was wearing peculiar shoes and I asked her where she had gotten them from. Of course, she didn't answer and...whacked me in the face.*''

* FantasticRacism: Her statement about mankinds evolution and not sure about the evolution of elves has shades of this, though she has no problem with Ri'Son who is a Khajiit, though she makes comments about Khajiit in general.

The turret turned human, Cassandra appears as a young white haired girl with constant cryptic messages and is informally adopted by the Dragonborn.

First mentioned in a journal in Chapter 51. (Awake and Asleep) he's a former scientist of Aperture turned Vampire Lord thanks to being married to Serana in a interesting turn of events.
Seems to know more about whats going on but the Trivergence Event did things to his memories, forcing him to uncover the truth about what actually happened.
* AbsentMindedProfessor: Has shades of this, due to his habit of trailing off in the middle of sentences.
* CrazyEnoughToWork: The reason behind the Perpetual Testing Initiative. John explains to Caroline that Aperture was losing money, so Cave and John had an idea so they could continue testing. So Cave and John implemented the Initiative to visit other Aperture facilities in alternate universes, as a way to save money. Caroline thought this was technically impossible...but It worked...then they came across a universe made of money!
* MrExposition: Reveals a lot of pre-story history, including what had brought Aperture to Skyrim in the first place. Chapter 58 He talks about his theory about how the Trivergence Event uncovered an alternate Earth, so he splits the three worlds up as Earth 1, Earth 2 and Nirn. He calls this the Three World Theory.

!Aperture
Aperture Labs makes its return in an unusual way. It's somehow made it's home in the ruins of Arkngthamz. Despite it being a location, it can be said it is its own character, given the behaviour and appearance.
* AlienGeometries
* AntiMagic: Some areas can utilise the Magicka Supression Field so no one can use magic.
* EldritchLocation
* GeniusLoci: Any one who manages to control it becomes this. [=GLaDOS=], Wheatley and recently [[spoiler: Doug Rattman]].
* MasterComputer: Interestingly enough, it utilises several tools in order to have one run the facility. Namely, the Control Program that runs alongside the main directive, whether it been an AI [[spoiler: or an organic mind]] and the chassis in a weird, mind body spirit scenario.
