She also felt strangely threatened when Hachi started to see Takumi and was afraid of Hachi being stolen by Trapnest. Nobu himself pointed out how weirdly possessive that kind of thinking is. It's very difficult to tell if this was because she had romantic feelings for Hachi or if was all platonic, born out of simple loneliness and fear from losing her first real close female friend.
