12	The protagonist of the series. One of the first things he does after arriving in Tagami is look for the local god that the townspeople had mentioned. Upon meeting Shiro, the first thing she says is, "I command you to be my husband!" The series is very much the aftermath of him accepting both her and Yuki's offers.

23	** He pretty much singlehandedly drew out the entire plan for the battle during August: He knew that the defense team would need to have the more-experienced fighters, had more than enough foresight to call Mayoi in for help, and knew to keep Ao in reserve to act as backup when (not if) Shiro was defeated.
24	* TheChewToy: If physical harm is dished out in a comedic fashion, it's almost always against Masaki.
25	* ChickMagnet: Masaki has a lot of admirers beyond his two girlfriends. Exaggerated after May's event.
