!The Seven Deadly Sins
The physical representations of pride, wrath, sloth, envy, lust, gluttony and avarice. Long ago, the Charred Council ordered the Four Horsemen to seal them away as their existence imperiled the Balance. After the premature apocalypse, the Sins were set free and fled to Earth to start gaining power over Creation. With War imprisoned and Death and Strife missing, Fury has been sent to destroy them alone.
----
[[folder:General]]
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: As [[EmbodimentOfVice their names]] indicate, they're all physical embodiments of the SevenDeadlySins.
* AFormYouAreComfortableWith: The Sins don't have a true physical form and it's implied they can actually shift their forms at will (this is most explicit with Gluttony), but Fury must destroy them in order to trap their essence in her talisman. [[spoiler:Envy takes advantage of this to disguise herself as a Watcher and trick Fury into killing a fake Envy with her none the wiser.]]
* BigBadEnsemble: Collectively, the primary antagonists of ''VideoGame/DarksidersIII'' who rule their own of the world. [[spoiler:However, Envy schemes [[ICanRuleAlone to become the sole]] BigBad]].
* CompellingVoice: Lust, Sloth and Wrath are seen to have this, which is how they are able to corrupt others.
* CompleteImmortality: Implied. As AnthropomorphicPersonification of their respective sins, no talk is actually said of permanently ''killing'' them, just trapping and re-imprisoning them. Several of them also invoke AsLongAsThereIsEvil in their BossBanter, implying even if their physical forms are destroyed their essence will eventually reincarnate into a new form. [[spoiler:It's also left up in the air if Fury re-purposing the Talisman of Sin as a makeshift hand grenade with all the Sins' essence trapped inside to distract the Charred Council actually permanently killed them or not with its explosive destruction.]]
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: In contrast to previous ''Darksiders'' villains who are often a singular antagonist, the Seven Deadly Sins in ''III'' are a [[BigBadEnsemble collective]] group of antagonists.
* TheCorrupter: They were created to spread their namesakes towards the rest of the universe [[spoiler:and are implied to have placed that influence onto the Charred Council during their incarceration.]]
* {{Irony}}: Fury's battle with each of the sins each have some form of DramaticIrony to them.
** While most of the Sins immediately engage in combat with Fury, Wrath has a moment of calm where he admires how beautiful Fury is.
** Avarice battles by throwing various things that he has horded at her, effectively destroying pieces of his own collection.
** Though he is initially hesitant to battle, Sloth is quick to action after the destruction of his throne.
** While Lust is usually associated with sexual desire, Lust is androgynous, eliminating any sexual aspect.
** Gluttony is defeated by swallowing underwater bombs.
** Pride has scars surrounding her right eye which she is so ashamed of, she hides them by covering her entire face with a mask.
** [[spoiler: Envy was so jealous of the power that the other Sins possessed that she stole a talisman designed by one of her rivals (whom she tricked Fury into believing was her) to siphon off their energy. This talisman proved to be her own end after Fury trapped her inside of it.]]
* NecessarilyEvil: Implied. Despite their very existence being a source of evil in the universe, the Creator took great pains to create them anyway. This didn't stop the Charred Council from locking them up first chance they got. However, that never meant that allowing them to roam freely was a good idea, considering the sort of damage they can do if left to their own devices.
--> '''The Riddle of Sorrows''': ''If Sin is a part of the Grand Design, is not Sin then, by definition, divine?''
* RedBaron: Each of the Sins has an epitaph to their BossSubtitles; only Gluttony and Pride are exempt in-game.

!!!Voiced by: Creator/MistyLee[[spoiler:, Creator/FrydaWolff (true self)]]

Envy is the very first Deadly Sin fought by Fury.
----
* AllYourPowersCombined: [[spoiler:During the final battle, Envy wields weapons evocative of the Horsemen's own arsenal sans Fury; a Chaoseater-like greatsword, a scythe similar to Harvester, and two hand cannons just as large as Mercy and Redemption. Considering she likely envied their power the most when they collectively kicked her ass, it makes sense that she would want to emulate them. In addition, she can summon facsimiles of the fallen Sins to aid her in combat]].
* AmbitionIsEvil: [[spoiler: Envy wanted Fury to seal the other sins so she'd have no superiors or equals. She also planned to assassinate the Charred Council by using the power of her sealed siblings, then simply wait until the angels and demons left on Earth wiped each other out to claim the planet for herself]].
-->'''Envy''': [[spoiler: When I'm done here and [[Characters/DarksidersCharredCouncil the Charred Council]] are nothing left but pebbles, I will simply wait out the Apocalypse and destroy whatever weakened generals remain! The Earth ''will'' be mine!]]
* BigBad: She is a part of the BigBadEnsemble with the rest of the Seven Deadly Sins. [[spoiler:While she starts off as the StarterVillain, it was after betraying Fury when she defeated [[DiscOneFinalBoss Pride]] that she undoubtedly becomes the main antagonist of ''Darksiders III'', serving as the FinalBoss of the game.]]
* BigNo: Has one when Fury takes her talisman.
-->'''Envy:''' No! That's MINE!
* BirdPeople: [[spoiler:The fake]] Envy looks very much like a humanoid vulture or corvid.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist:
** Abaddon is an archangel who once served as Hellguard's former leader, before ultimately abandoning them to join the forces of Hell as Vovin/Destroyer. After becoming the Destroyer, he later rallies his own army to launch a wide-scale invasion on Earth and plans to kill War for his interference. Envy, on the other hand, sets her apart from Abaddon whose goal is to use Fury to seal the rest of her Sin bretheren [[spoiler:[[AmbitionIsEvil so she can claim the planet for herself once the Charred Council, the forces of Heaven and Hell are gone for good.]]]] Finally, while Abaddon works mostly with his own Hell forces and is extremely personal towards War, Envy solely works alone on her own volition, who manipulates Fury as means to eliminate the rest of them.
** Absalom is a Nephilim who was the embodiment of TheCorruption after his death at the hands of Death, making him the Avatar of Chaos. Absalom uses it to plague all of the realms so he can initiate his genocidal plans to revive the Nephilim race for his own selfish benefit. Envy is different to Absalom in many ways, who wants to assassinate the Charred Council and wipe them out on the illusion of power so she can rule the ruined planet for herself. Also, while Absalom's intentions are out of [[WellIntentionedExtremist misguided extremism]], Envy's motivations of doing so are out of sheer envy.
** In general, while both Abaddon and Absalom are immediate in their own plans right off the bat, Envy [[spoiler:disguises herself as Fury's Watcher as part of her BatmanGambit throughout the entire game.]]
* CoolMask: [[spoiler:The true Envy wears a bone mask very similar to Death's.]]
* DrivenByEnvy: Naturally, as implicated in her name. Surprisingly enough, the crowlike Envy who expressed wanting to steal everything the humans had, and then enslave them until they broke [[spoiler:was only a ruse. The real Envy is more complex. While disguised as a Watcher, she expressed admiration for the power of the Horsemen as well as jealousy of Pride's beauty, foreshadowing her betrayal and her form in the endgame becoming a combination of the four Horsemen. Her goal was to destroy the arrogant Charred Council and then let the opposing Angels and Demons kill each other before finishing the rest off to take the world. When she was foiled by Fury, her last words was a frustrated rant about how everything belonged to her.]]
* FeatheredFiend: Envy resembles a humanoid corvid/vulture, which is appropriate for a hateful creature like her. [[spoiler:Well, the ''fake'' Envy does, at least.]]
* {{Foreshadowing}}: [[spoiler: When Envy is sucked into the amulet, it appears in white rather than green like the other sins, indicating that Envy is not a true sin.]]
* GreenAndMean: [[spoiler: She has green skin and is ruthless enough to strike down anyone who could dare oppose her.]]
* GreenEyedMonster: Unsurprisingly. She specifically resents mankind and fully intends on taking everything that they have. [[spoiler:When Pride falls, she also admits she was always envious of her sister and likely the other Sins as well, which is the point she finally reveals herself. Bonus points for actually having green eyes.]]
* HiddenDepths: [[spoiler:As the Watcher, Envy shows herself to have quite the philosophical side, waxing on about humanity's works while noting the hidden irony of this seemingly insignificant race having such potential and how the other factions deep down are envious of and fear it.]]
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: [[spoiler: In their final battle, Fury gets close to Envy, presses her whip against Envy's chest and activates the weapon, impaling Envy through the heart on the way in, then uncoiling and ripping it apart on the way out]].
* InTheHood: [[spoiler:In her true form, Envy wears a purple hood.]]
* LittleNo: She says this when Fury says she is here to kill her.
* MagicStaff: Wields one to focus her magic as well as to fight physically.
* TheManBehindTheMonsters: [[spoiler:The true Envy is a green woman with four arms, as opposed to the bird creature she set you against.]]
* MoodSwinger: [[spoiler:When she reveals herself, the true Envy shifts between calm and calculating to screeching in desire in the same sentence.]]
* MultiArmedAndDangerous: [[spoiler:The true Envy has numerous arms in which she carries various weapons, from a sword to a scythe to GunsAkimbo.]]
* NotSoDifferentRemark: Claims this is the case between her and [[spoiler:the Charred Council since they also envied others and craved power.]] That is why she figured out what they were up to before anyone else.
-->'''[[spoiler: Charred Council]]''': Your lust for power will be your undoing, Envy!
-->'''Envy''': Well isn't ''that'' the pot calling the kettle black?!
* ObfuscatingStupidity: [[spoiler:She's actually the most crafty Sin, as the subservient "Watcher" following you around.]]
* PunyEarthlings:
-->''Humans think creation favors them - they are apes crawling through the dirt!
* ShadowArchetype: [[spoiler:Envy and Fury share more traits with each other than the latter would care to admit: they are both considered the weakest members of their respective groups, tend to be insulting and arrogant, and they each desire to rise above their compatriots to receive the respect they feel they deserve. Ultimately, though, for all her antagonism towards them, Fury cares for her brothers, comes to realize her own flaws and undergoes CharacterDevelopment, while Envy steals the power of her fellow Sins but is still defeated by Fury in their final battle, ranting about how she "deserved" victory.]]
* SicklyGreenGlow: Her talisman has this noticeable color [[spoiler:and Envy's own BattleAura and Sin summons are all of a green glow.]]
* StarterVillain: For ''VideoGame/DarksidersIII''. [[spoiler:Subverted when she returns later on to become the FinalBoss]].
* UnskilledButStrong: [[spoiler:After absorbing the powers of other Sins and stealing some of Fury's, she ends up becoming this as she lacks discipline and experience required to handle such powers, which leads to her final defeat at Fury's hands. In fact, Lust outright insults Envy by saying she is a sniveling coward who never experienced frontline combat.]]
* VillainousBreakdown: She absolutely loses it when Fury takes back the talisman.
** [[spoiler: During their final battle, Envy snaps when Fury is on the verge of beating her, raging that she's not about to lose all the power she's claimed]].
-->'''Envy''': [[spoiler: No! It was mine! I deserved it! I had it! MINE!]]
* WalkingSpoiler: All these spoiler marks should indicate that there is a lot more to Envy than simply being a StarterVillain.
* TheWorfEffect: Envy is the weakest of the sins and the first defeated by Fury despite being the second deadliest sin. [[spoiler:Although it turns out Envy sent out a minion disguised as her to fake her death from the start so she could steal the sealing talisman after Fury filled it, becoming the FinalBoss and most dangerous Sin in combat.]]

!!Wrath, the Molten Lord
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wrath_8.png]]
!!!Voiced by: Creator/FredTatasciore

----
* AbhorrentAdmirer: In [[spoiler: their rematch, Wrath admits to Fury that he finds her beautiful, especially when she's angry. He then adds that in another reality he could have loved her. Fury's only response is an annoyed look before wiping the floor with him.]]
* BlackKnight: A violent, destructive warrior with black armour.
* BloodKnight: Fury encounters him battling a whole battalion of Angels. He seems to be enjoying himself immensely. When Fury encounters him a second time, he cries out to the many demons he is fighting to give in to their bloodlust as they all kill each other in a free-for-all.
* BifurcatedWeapon: Wields a sword that can split in two.
* EmotionEater: Claims to be fueled by UnstoppableRage, and that the harder his combatant fights, the stronger he gets. It's hard to tell if this is actually true, but [[spoiler: during the first phase of the rematch, he is noticeably bulkier than before, likely due to multiple combatants being in the arena with him. Once he's merely fighting Fury, he reverts to his original size.]]
* HeroKiller: He comes ''dangerously'' close to killing Fury in their battle, impaling her through the chest with one of his swords before [[LodgedBladeRecycling she drives it back through his face]]. The only reason she survived was the Lord of the Hollows' intervention.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice:
** Fury finishes him by ramming a broken Angel blade through his [[FacialHorror face]], one that [[LodgedBladeRecycling he had impaled her on in the first place]].
** [[spoiler: In their final battle, Wrath [[ThrowingYourSwordAlwaysWorks throws his sword at Fury]]. She catches the blade, spins it around and returns it to Wrath...through his chest]].
* LargeHam: He's easily one of the loudest and most dramatic of the Sins, shouting almost all of his lines and cackling like a maniac whenever he fights.
* MagmaMan: What little of him that can be seen under his armor looks like molten rock.
* ThisCannotBe: [[spoiler: During their final fight, Wrath expresses disbelief that Fury can fight him without succumbing to rage]].
-->'''Wrath''': [[spoiler: WHERE IS YOUR ANGER?! HOW CAN YOU FIGHT WITHOUT ANGER?!]]
* TinTyrant: Decked from head to toe in [[BlackKnight black-grey armor]].
* VillainForgotToLevelGrind: [[spoiler: By the time you face him again, the biggest change is that he has a brand new first phase... but his second phase is just his original boss fight at the start of the game. Considering Fury has, by this point, gone up against four other Sins and won, as well as obtained all four Hollows, Wrath basically stood zero chance.]]

[[folder:Avarice]]
!!Avarice, the Collector
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/avarice.png]]
!!!Voiced by: Creator/JBBlanc
The very essence of {{Greed}}, a rapacious goblin-like creature who hoards anything and everything that catches his eye. He's set up shop in an abandoned museum, where he guards his "collection" with brute force and rabid savagery.
----
* AllTrollsAreDifferent: He resembles a troll or a goblin, and much like one he hoards anything he can get his hands on.
* CollectorOfTheStrange: His "collection" ranges from priceless works of art and magic artefacts to corpses and broken bits of junk.
* CombatPragmatist: He's not so blinded by his treasures he won't hesitate to use them to kill Fury, even if it means breaking them.
* CreepySouvenir: You can see various body parts in his bag, such as angel wings, arms and corpses. At least one of huge items he can try to flatten Fury with is a giant demon's skull.
* DownInTheDumps: His "collection" includes stuff that has already been trashed by the apocalypse, and the arena is full of junk. Seriously, he introduces himself by throwing a bathtub at Fury and the during the fight can try to crush her with another bathtub or a refrigerator.
* EvilLaugh: Avarice frequently lets out a evil, mocking cackle as he jumps about his boss arena, in between his boasts and threats.
* {{Greed}}: Avarice's entire motivation, appropriately enough, is the desire for more possessions and wealth. His horde is full of priceless artwork and the floor is covered in gold coins, alongside broken bits of rubbish and the bodies of those he's "collected".
* HornedHumanoid: He sports an impressive, curling pair of black horns on his forehead, both of which are heavily pierced and decorated with jewellery.
* LotsOfLuggage: Carries a ridiculously huge bag on his back full of stuff. For context, it's several times ''bigger'' than he is.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Avarice will attack Fury with junk, including bathtubs and will actually wield a fridge to smack the Nephilim.
* PintsizedPowerhouse: He barely comes up to Fury's knee, if that, but he can still go toe-to-toe with her in direct combat and leap acrobatically around his collection room despite the huge, heavy-looking pack on his back. And this is before he starts swinging refrigerators at you, or tossing huge pieces of junk around.
* SinisterSchnoz: Appropriately for a goblin-like creature, he sports a long, pointed nose.
* SlasherSmile: Wears a permanent, sinister grin to underscore his unhinged, rapacious personality. He may not be able to control this, either, considering he seems to lack any lips.
* TrophyRoom: The bossfight takes place in his collection room. Not all the items he collects can be considered treasures, considering the bathtubs.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Sloth]]
!!Sloth, Lord of the Flies
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sloth_3.png]]
!!!Voiced by: Creator/DarinDePaul

----

* {{Acrofatic}}: You'd think those wings of his would not be able to support his weight, but once Fury destroys his throne, he flies around the battlefield taking swipes at her.
* AintTooProudToBeg: When he goes down, he asks Fury whether she thinks killing him will do anything. Fury calls him out on this, to which he responds that 'dignity is a myth'.
* BerserkButton: He doesn't start ''really'' fighting until you destroy his throne, at which point he'll fly into a rage and start going all out.
-->'''Sloth''': You owe me a new throne, but I'll settle for your head!
* BigCreepyCrawlies: He is an enormous talking bed-bug, and calls on numerous smaller bugs to act as his servants.
* BlasphemousBoast: He tells Fury after their battle that he "has my [[{{Mooks}} servants]] wipe my arse with the wings of angels while I enjoy a morning tea."
* CarryABigStick: Totes around a long scepter that he also uses for taking swings at Fury.
* CompellingVoice: Uses this to get Fury to leave without fighting. It almost works, except Fury's watcher intervenes and motivates her to fight again.
* EvilGloating: After Fury beats him, he lies there on the ground exhausted and starts gloating about how much he doesn't care about Balance, Angels, or the Horsemen's duty. They end up being his final words.
* {{Expy}}: Despite being to embody the sin of sloth, he bares a resemblance to the Biblical demon {{Beelzebub}}, both being gluttonous insect-creatures named the "Lord of the Flies".
* FatBastard: The fattest one in the series, to the point he could be confused with Gluttony. Servants have to drag his ass during most of the fight.
* FlunkyBoss: Summons his insect servants to fight Fury during the first half of the battle. Only after she [[BerserkButton wrecks his throne]] does Sloth actually get up and start fighting.
* LazyBum: Appropriately, he doesn't get up off his butt until Fury destroys his throne. Fury even refers to their battle as being the most exercise Sloth's had in a millennium.
--> '''Sloth''': ''(Sarcastically)'' It's the apocalypse... [[FlatJoy whoooo]]. I'm completely over it. My sole concern is comfort.
* ShockwaveStomp: Can unleash these when he comes down from a jump.
* TermsOfEndangerment: Calls Fury "darling".
* VerbalTic: He frequently stutters some of his words, most noticeably during his introduction to Fury.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Lust]]
!!Lust, Ruler of Twisted Desire
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lust_2.png]]
!!!Voiced by: Creator/JasonSpisak

----
* AmbiguousGender: Fury refers to Lust as "they", despite having a feminine voice and face, although provided by a male voice actor. It doesn't help that Lust also has a more masculine body.
* AintTooProudToBeg: After being beaten, Lust offers to expose the location of Envy to Fury in exchange for their life. Fury throws it back in their face.
* BlackKnight: Surprisingly for someone who represents the sin of Lust, they're actually pretty conservatively-dressed in black armor. Admittedly, they do seem to be more about lust for power and domination, rather than the more sexualized connotations of the sin.
* BlingOfWar: They wear an extremely ornate and extravagant suit of black plate and scale armor, trimmed with gold.
* BloodKnight: Lampshaded during a conversation between Fury and The Watcher. This depiction of lust isn't the usual seductress commonly depicted. Lust is primarily themed around a lust for ''everything'', though with an emphasis on violence and ambition. For this, they are regarded as one of the most dangerous of the sins.
* BreakThemByTalking: Tries this on Fury before their main battle, as detailed under TheReasonYouSuckSpeech. When that doesn't work, [[spoiler: they try this on Usiel, succeeding in temporarily corrupting him to their side for the battle's duration.]]
* CoolSword: Lust wields one, a black-colored saber with gold runes etched into the blade.
* TheCorrupter: Uses MoreThanMindControl and MasterOfIllusion powers to turn people to their side, including [[spoiler:Usiel]].
* DualBoss: [[spoiler:Halfway through the fight, they manages to convince Usiel to side with them, forcing Fury to fight the both of them at the same time]].
* HoistByTheirOwnPetard: Lust's illusions seemed to be working on Fury, tricking her into believing her brothers had came to serve her, the reason Fury figures it out? [[spoiler: They made her brothers kneel, which Fury ''knows'' is an OutOfCharacterAlert.]]
* LargeAndInCharge: They're noticeably taller than Fury by a few heads.
* {{Lust}}: Is their name implies, Lust is the personification of their namesake, as is able to create illusions that take the form of whatever Fury wanted most (the respect and reverence of her brothers) as a trick.
* MasterOfIllusion: Not only can they do this to create decoys of themselves in battle, they can summon vivid fantasies of what others most desire. Fury very nearly succumbs to this before SpottingTheThread.
* OhCrap: When they realize their temptations hold no sway over Fury, seconds before the latter slashes their throat with a Crossblade.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Gives one to Fury in their pre-battle confrontation, inferring that Fury doesn't give a damn about the Balance, and only serves the Charred Council for the sake of attaining power and to avoid being exterminated like the rest of the Nephilim.
-->'''Lust''': I know my role in the universe. I wonder if you've ever stopped to question yours? You are a Horseman, but ''why''? Did you make that choice? And if so, was there some reasoning behind it?... You don't even know why you fight, do you? Hmmm, do you fight for your brothers? Oh, of course not! Your antagonism towards them is well known! Do you seek to achieve some sort of Balance? Oh, you never believed in the greater good until it suited ''you''. No, no, no, what I see in your actions is a lust all your own- a lust for power and privilege and protection from the Nephilhim's inevitable fall! [[NotSoDifferentRemark Ultimately, that makes us allies, doesn't it?]]
* SlashedThroat: Fury opens their neck with the edge of a Crossblade.
* SmugSnake: They're so confident in their ability to manipulate people that they give the impression they're going to get away scot-free. They don't.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Gluttony]]
!!Gluttony, All-consuming Emptiness
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gluttony_6.png]]
!!!Voiced by: Creator/FredTatasciore

----
* BellyMouth: He has one of these in his first form.
* CombatTentacles: After transforming, he gains two of these.
* EldritchAbomination: He's the most inhuman of all the Sins, looking like something that crawled out of the works of Creator/HPLovecraft.
* ExtremeOmnivore: He's been eating anything he can get his hands on.
* EyeScream: During the first encounter on the way to Lust, Fury needs to launch Salvation into all four of his eyes to blind him and make him move his tentacles out of the exit. Fury ultimately kills him [[spoiler: in his second form by [[ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice driving one of his tusks into his eye]]]].
* FangsAreEvil: Just ''look'' at those mouths of his.
* FeedItABomb: In his second form, Fury must lure in the nearby floating mines so Gluttony will suck them in instead.
* KickTheDog: [[spoiler: He found the corpse of Rampage and was eating him before Fury found him. Fury was ''pissed'' to find this out.]]
* MasterOfIllusion: Gluttony can create illusions related to food in order to lure in prey, such as making a skull on a table look like a grapefruit.
* MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily: Seriously, he has a LOT of mouths, several of which are [[NestedMouths nested inside one another]]. He's got the teeth to match, as well.
* NestedMouths: He has at least two more mouths inside his main BellyMouth.
* OneWingedAngel: After losing half of his health, Gluttony will break the floor and retreat into an underwater cavern, turning into a kraken-like monster with a face that does away with the smaller mouths and sprouts two additional tentacles. Interestingly, Fury actually sees him in ''this'' form first.
* PsychopathicManchild: Some of his lines sound like he's a whiny toddler. Couple that with ExtremeOmnivore and you get this trope.
* PuzzleBoss: Gluttony's OneWingedAngel form can't actually be hurt by Fury herself (and unlike previously the fight takes place underwater, so no using Salvation to snipe his eyes). Instead, [[TacticalSuicideBoss every time he uses his]] VacuumMouth, Fury needs to lure out the respawning water mines so they get sucked inside his mouth and explode.
* RubberMan: He can stretch his arms to immense length.
* SeaMonster: Apart from his first form having tentacles and gaping mouths, his second form is gigantic and fights underwater.
* SuperSpit: Spits out globs of nasty blue gunk at Fury during the first half of their battle.
* TentacledTerror: This ungodly monstrosity is some cross between an anglerfish and an octopus.
* TooManyMouths: On his tentacles, his face, his belly, and even some inside other mouths.
* ToServeMan: Unsurprisingly, he's been eating humans. As shown by the grapefruit illusion.
* VacuumMouth: Used by both of his forms so that he can gulp down Fury and chew her up for a bit. It ends up being his undoing for his second form.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Pride]]
!!Pride, Keeper of the Vigil
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pride_5.png]]
!!!Voiced by: Abby Craden
The last and deadliest of the Seven Deadly Sins, Pride is the ''de facto'' leader of the group and the final Sin faced by Fury.
----
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: Background materials indicate Pride forcibly made herself the leader of the Sins by defeating the rest of them in combat.
* BlingOfWar: She's decked out in purple and light-blue armor with golden highlights, complete with an elaborate mask and floating crown.
* CoolSword: She wields a large golden sword in combat.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: She's set up as the last and leader of the Seven Deadly Sins Fury must defeat, [[spoiler:only for [[StarterVillain Envy]] to reveal herself shortly after the battle, absorb Pride into her talisman after stealing it back from Fury, and taking the role of FinalBoss for herself.]]
* DivinelyAppearingDemons: Her entire design - from her humanoid appearance to her wings and her armor - would make you think at a glance that she was an angel. Regardless, she is as much a monster as her six other kin, the ominous black cape, shattered halo and [[spoiler: mangled face]] the only implication to this.
* FacialHorror: [[spoiler:Under her mask, she has some slight scarring around her right eye, but more importantly the eye is completely missing the eyelid and gaping wide open.]]
* {{Foil}}: May be considered one to Death. Both are the leaders of their respective groups and tend to be quite assured of their own abilities. But Death truly cares for his younger siblings and mourns the part he played in the extinction of the Nephilim, [[spoiler:while Pride doesn't show any concern over the other Sins when Fury confronts her. Also, while they both wear masks, Death's is implied to signify his relinquishment of his old life and acceptance as the Charred Council's executioner, while Pride's is to cover up her FacialHorror.]]
* IShallTauntYou: Pride is so monumentally arrogant that she goads Fury long before their fight, appearing before her to casually NoSell her attacks and order her to [[INeedYouStronger become stronger before facing her]] for no apparent reason beyond 'proving' herself as being above Fury.
* LightIsNotGood: She's decked out in armor with noticeable golden highlights, [[DivinelyAppearingDemons resembles an Angel]], and first appears in a flash of light. She's still evil to the core.
* OhCrap: [[spoiler: Moments before succumbing to her wounds, Pride manages to whisper a horrified "Envy!" as the Watcher reveals her true identity.]]
* PowerFloats: She spends much of her time floating in the air in order to figuratively and literally look down on her foes.
* {{Pride}}: Her pride is the type that leaves her feeling so above others that their insults are meaningless to her. Given that she is the literal personification of it, it makes sense that it would define her personality.
* WeCanRuleTogether: [[spoiler: Offers an alliance to Fury against the Charred Council to restore Balance to the universe. Fury refuses]].
-->'''Pride''': [[spoiler: Before you make a tragic mistake, I'd like to make you an offer. [[CrapsackWorld You've seen the world]]. [[ApocalypseHow You've seen the state it's in]]. You're smart enough to know someone, somewhere has lied to you. There is no plan. There is no Balance. It's all lies, but...imagine if it ''were'' true. Imagine if you, and I, truly set out to give the world direction. Order. Isn't that your true purpose? We could be the force for balance the world deserves. We could be...GREATNESS!]]
-->'''Fury''': [[spoiler: At one time, that speech might have worked on me...[[CharacterDevelopment but that was when I did not understand how ugly Pride could be]]. [[SarcasmMode Thank you for your generous offer]], but if this world is to be fixed, neither of us will be the ones to do it]].
* WhiteHairBlackHeart: From the back, you can see that her hair is long and white. She's also the single most deadly of the Seven in direct combat, as well as being their unofficial leader.
