[[caption-width-right:350:From left to right: Enshin, Dorothea, Champ, Syura, Izou, Cosmina.]]
----
* AdaptedOut: Apart from Syura and Suzuka, none of them appear in the anime.
* AxCrazy: Every single member, except Dorothea, is a psychopath that has no qualms about murdering people in the worst ways imaginable. Some members even feel compelled to do so.
* AssholeVictim: After all the horror they did, no one felt sad when each of them died.
* DirtyCoward: Most of Wild Hunt display this trope at one point or another. [[spoiler:In Enshin, Champ and Syura's cases, it's right before they die]].
* DwindlingParty: [[spoiler:The members of the Wild Hunt end up dropping like flies much quicker than either the Night Raid or the Jaegers]].
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: Every member of Wild Hunt (except [[BadassNormal Izou]]) is known to be equipped with a Teigu Syura found in his travels.
* EnemyMine: Wild Hunt made Night Raid and the Jaegers cooperate two times. The first time was because [[spoiler: Syura uses the Danger Beast that Stylish created to cause a havoc in the Empire, forcing the two factions to united to kill the monsters for the people sake.]] The second one happens when [[spoiler: Run, who want to kill Champ to avenge his students who Champ kills, and Kurome, who helps him in the task, guides Champ to a trap and are encountered by Enshin and Cosmina. In this moment Night Raid, who was finding the members of Wild Hunt to kill them to stop their atrocities, appears and with the "help" of the Jaegers manages to kill Enshin and wound Cosmina. Champ also dies in the cross fire.]]
* EvilerThanThou: While the Jaegars weren't formed with the most morally compassionate people in the Empire, Wild Hunt has been introduced as a group hellbent on causing carnage throughout the Empire, excusing their actions as being a Secret Police group under the Prime Minister. For bonus points, Syura, their leader, actively strives for this goal constantly comparing himself against Prime Minister Honest.
* {{Foil}}: All of their members differentiate from one of the Jaegers in some manner;
** Syura to Seryu: Wild Hunt, which he leads, is a secret police unit, while Seryu was a part of the official Imperial Guard.
** Izou to Kurome: Both are their teams' resident katana wielders, but while Izou "feeds" blood to his totally normal one, Kurome's Teigu sword lets her retain those she's killed as puppets.
** Cosmina to Run: Both have an animal theme, Run due to Mastema's wings and Cosmina because of her rabbit ear headband, but Run is clever and calculating while Cosmina is ditzy and gets distracted by lust. [[spoiler: Cosmina ended up becoming a monster via Dorothea's experiments, turning her into the alchemist's attack dog, but while Run became a Corpse Puppet for Kurome, he retained enough of himself to independently look out for her and Wave.]]
** Einshin to Wave: The former is a pirate, and the latter is a navy man.
** Champ to Bols: Both are the biggest members of their groups and can manipulate fire to different degrees, but while Bols looks intimidating because of his job despite being a sweetheart, Champ is dressed like a kid-appealing clown but only to lure in children to rape and kill.
* ForTheEvulz: Syura does have an actual EvilPlan behind all the random murder, rape and torture - lure out the Night Raid by [[ZeroApprovalGambit committing enough atrocities to become the most public symbol of the Empire's brutality and thus force their hand]]. However, besides this expected result he very much enjoys the process itself, and the rest of the Wild Hunt kill the Empire's citizens simply because they can easily get away with it. The only exception is Dorothea, that drains people to retain her youth.
* HateSink: Syura is Honest's equally contemptible son and along with his squad, the Wild Hunt, uses the authority bestowed upon them to conduct rapes and murders at their leisure, under the guise of upholding the law. Lacking the nobility and standards of their rival group the Jaegers, Wild Hunt are never portrayed as anything more than brutes from the moment of their introduction, even raping the wife and child of a fallen Jaeger on his grave. The only ones who show any positive qualities are Dorothea and Izou.
* InTheHood: Syura is first introduced with a hood suit. Later the others members of the team are also introduced with the same costume as Syura. All of them abandon the hoods when they became the Jaegers substitute.
* KickTheDog: Every chapter since their introduction Wild Hunt has been '''constantly''' kicking the dog, and boy do they enjoy it.
* MeaningfulName: Named after TheWildHunt. They have a habit of raping and killing everyone in their way, too.
* PsychoForHire: All of them except Dorothea are definitely this. Enshin, Cosmina and Champ joined to engage in as much depravity within the Empire as possible, while Izou outright admits that he only came along just so to be allowed to kill as many people as he could.
* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: A very notable difference between them and the Jaegars to make them all the more monstrous. Syura, Cosmina, Enshin and Champ are all rapists. Especially [[MonsterClown Champ]], [[PaedoHunt who expresses sadistic glee at having his way with children]]. Even Dorothea and Suzuka are attempted rapists. Only Izou isn't guilty of this, and that's because he considers killing better than sex.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections: The Wild Hunt tend to throw a lot of weight around in the Empire simply because their leader is the son of the Prime Minister. As such any of their actions, such as rape and murder, are hand waved as [[BlatantLies thorough investigation]].
* SerialRapist: Four out of the six original members.
* SixthRanger: Suzuka unofficially joins up with the group later in the story due to their DwindlingParty. [[spoiler: She ironically ends up becoming the SoleSurvivor of this group as well]].
* SortingAlgorithmOfEvil: Introduced late into the story and are easily the strongest demonstration of this trope. The series already had it's share of depraved villains but at the very least a majority of them had the intention of defending people from Night Raid. The members of Wild Hunt are without question the most evil villains in the series as with the exception of Syura and Dorothea none of them care about the ongoing revolution or state of the Capital and all of them are motivated solely by committing cruelties for their own personal amusement. To top it all off unlike other villains in the series they directly attack innocent people who have no concerns about the revolution or may even have connections to those working for TheEmpire.
* StupidEvil: RapePillageAndBurn ForTheEvulz literally defines them as a group. While part of the reason for all the rapes and murders is to lure out Night Raid by making themselves the most hated people of the Empire, much of it is done purely ForTheEvulz. Unsurprisingly, this leads to Night Raid and the Jaegers [[EnemyMine teaming up with each other]] to get rid of them and Esdeath forcing Honest to disband Wild Hunt.
** If their RapePillageAndBurn behavior didn't make their allies the Jaegers hate them already, the [[spoiler:rape and murder of their dead ally and friend Bols' wife and young daughter]] certainly did.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: [[AdaptedOut The team at all didn't appear in the anime]], instead, Syura brought with himself a group of people in yellow hoods (with a similar look to the ones that Wild Hunt wore in their debut chapter) and spears who Syura says that are "his elite". Later, Syura and the group along with Budo ambush Tatsumi and Lubbock, and fight with the latter. The elite team are later the ones who [[spoiler: kill Lubbock after he defeats Syura]] and [[WhatHappenedtoTheMouse never appear again.]]
* TrueCompanions: Averted. Unlike the Jaegers that quickly formed bonds with each other, Wild Hunt is merely a group of individuals gathered just ForTheEvulz that don't care about each other. The only visible moment of comradeship was when Dorothea showed grief after [[spoiler: Syura]] died.
* VilerNewVillain: Exist as the worse group of TheEmpire to the Jaegars, lacking their EvilVirtues and AntiVillain traits while also being troublesome enough to provoke an EnemyMine situation between the Jaegars and Night Raid in opposition to them.
* UndignifiedDeath: [[spoiler: All of their deaths.]]
** [[spoiler: Syura dies whimpering that he cannot die a pointless death in a dungeon and that he was meant to surpass his father, dying as he curses his fate.]]
** [[spoiler: Enshin [[DirtyCoward flees rather than face the strength of Night Raid]], only to be cut down in a single strike by Akame and die dumbstruck by her power.]]
** [[spoiler: Champ enters his final fight bleeding and half-broken from Run's torture, recoils in terror as his Fire Orb attack is redirected at him, and dies screaming in agony as he is burnt down to his bones.]]
** [[spoiler: Dorothea is brought down rather easily by Leone and after failing to fake being dead resorts to [[VillainsWantMercy begging Leone to let her live]], crying and screaming that she doesn't want to die, only for Leone to remark that none of her victims did either before crushing the Alchemist's head with a boulder.]]
** [[spoiler: Izou spends his final few moments begging Akame to take his sword from him so that it may continue to drink blood. When she refuses, he can only question how she would refuse the last request of a fellow swordsman, just before dying.]]
** [[spoiler: Cosmina is bisected by Tatsumi, which isn't so bad by itself, except it's just after Dorothea hyped her incredible strength and abilities, all of which don't slow Tatsumi one bit. In the end she failed to live up to her hype.]]

[[quoteright:225:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b995570b20ad37bdc2003565ad03c088.jpg]]
-->''"Hmph. You'd make a most ideal subject for my experiments."''
An alchemist from the Western Kingdom, Dorothea is recruited into the Wild Hunt. She comes into prominence after Syura's death, taking charge of the Wild Hunt to further her own machinations.

Her Teigu is Blood Collection: Absordex, vampire-like fangs that allow her to drain the blood of whomever she bites, leaving them desiccated and enhancing her strength and regenerative abilities. In addition, she also fights with a variety of gadgets and alchemical tricks.
----
* ACupAngst: When healing Cosmina with her alchemy; she comments to Syura on how her great bust infuriates her, in a comedic fashion.
* ActuallyADoombot: She made a body double for Cosmina in case Akame was to cut her with her Teigu.
* AgeAppropriateAngst: [[spoiler: She is angry when Leone calls her 'grandma'.]]
* AllWomenAreLustful: Demonstrates this towards [[ChickMagnet Tatsumi]], of course. Although she apparently had no sexual desire prior to drinking his blood.
* AttemptedRape: Tries to force herself on Tatsumi with Suzuka. Esdeath prevents them from getting through it.
* BadassAdorable: She can be somewhat cute and adorable, and she is the strongest member of Wild Hunt.
* BadassBookworm: She is one of the most intelligent characters in the story, being just as or even more than Stylish. And unlike Stylish, she can hold her ground on a fight, as shown by her fight with Leone.
* BreakoutVillain: She is the most popular member of Wild Hunt, and most likely because of this, not only does she survives the longest, but even gets her own mini arc.
* BrokenTears: When [[spoiler: she plays dead and Leone is about to crush her with a rock to secure her death, she starts crying and pleading with her opponent to spare her life and permit her to continue her life-extending experiments. Unfortunately for her, Leone isn't particularly swayed...]]
* CoDragons: She replaces [[spoiler: Enshin after his death]] and shares this position with Izou for Syura.
* CombatPragmatist: Justified as she knows that she can't beat Night Raid who are far more experienced than her. She uses a gas tube to restrain Leone, later summons a creature and draws a gun to try to kill her.
* CrazyPrepared: She was well prepared for the fight against Night Raid. Her Cosmina monster had a body double in case she was to be hit by Akame's sword and had poisoned tentacles that could pierce Incursio. She also turned Stylish' humanoid danger beasts into much more competent soldiers that were covered with glue to catch swords. She also keeps weapons such as a tube with gas that can petrify enemies, an item that can summon a creature that can corrode clothes and flesh and a gun.
* CuteAndPsycho: Anyone would look at her and assume that she's the most innocent of Wild Hunt. Truthfully, she is perhaps the most ruthless and dangerous.
* DarkActionGirl: [[spoiler: Do not let her small height and adorable figure fool you, a thing she lampshades. She was very close of killing Leone twice.]]
* DidNotSeeThatComing:
** [[spoiler: She covered her experimental warriors with glue so that Murasame got stuck on one of them, disarming Akame. Given that most of Akame's targets were killed with her sword, this seems like a good plan, but [[EntertaininglyWrong unfortunately, Akame was trained in many fighting techniques, including hand-to-hand combat without her Teigu]].]]
** [[spoiler: She turned Cosmina into an insectoid beast capable of injecting deadly poison even through [[NighInvulnerability Incursio's armor]]. This would have worked, except for the fact that [[AdaptiveArmor Tatsumi's body had already adapted to the poison]] from when the Prime Minister tainted Incursio with it, back when Tatsumi recovered it.]]
** [[spoiler: Most of her victims became shriveled and emaciated like mummies after she absorbed their blood. The exception being Leone, who was capable of [[HealingFactor quickly recovering from the loss of blood by eating animals]].]]
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: She is an alchemist that in order to perform alchemy must create circles on the ground; she uses both alchemy and the Philosopher Stone to create humanoid beasts; she is a scientist obsessed with immortality and has no problem serving a corrupt government to achieve it and one of her techniques involves summoning a [[Characters/FullmetalAlchemistHomunculi Pride-like creature]]. Dorothea seems like to have come out of, or is at least based on [[Manga/FullmetalAlchemist Fullmetal Alchemist]].
* DragonAscendant: [[spoiler:She ends up taking over the remains of the Wild Hunt after Syura's death.]]
* EldritchAbomination: [[spoiler:In the climax of her fight with Leone, she summons a grotesque monster to defeat her enemy. The monster is capable of corroding clothes and flesh.]]
* EvenEvilHasStandards:
** She seemed pretty taken aback by how quickly the Prime Minister recovered from hearing of [[spoiler:his son's death, considering that he died while trying to prove himself to his father.]]
** As cruel and vicious as she was, even she was terrified of Esdeath.
* EvilGenius: Of Wild Hunt. Doubled as CoDragons with Izou, [[spoiler: after Enshin's death]], and then briefly became [[spoiler: DragonAscendant when Syura himself died.]]
* EvilOldFolks: [[spoiler: She is actually an older woman that uses her teigu to stay young.]]
* FlatCharacter: Inverted. Compared to the rest of the Wild Hunt whose appearences merely served to show just how sociopathic they were, Dorothea is given far more characterization.
* ForTheEvulz: She seemed to enjoy drain people from their blood merely out of hunger or pleasure. [[spoiler: It is actually subverted as drinking others' blood helps her maintain her youth. This makes her the only member of Wild Hunt that doesn't do evil things just for pleasure.]]
* FurAgainstFang: Her fight with Leone can be considered this. Leone only manages to win due to her HealingFactor.
* GeniusBruiser: Is the EvilGenius among Wild Hunt, and as shown during her battle with Leone she can [[SuperSoldier boost her physical strength to the point she can tangle with Leone thanks to alchemy]]. She's also arguably the most dangerous member of Wild Hunt who actually comes the closest to killing a member of Night Raid in a battle [[spoiler:as Izou cut down Lubbock when he was defenseless]].
* GlassCannon: She is the physically strongest member of Wild Hunt and even stronger than Leone, the physically strongest female member of Night Raid, but her durability is much lower. She can hit quite hard, but can't take hits on her own.
* GreaterScopeVillain: During the Wild Hunt arc aside from her work with Wild Hunt she also did some private work for Prime Minister Honest. [[spoiler: Turns out she was using alchemy to modify the Ultimate Teigu, Shikoutazer.]]
* HypercompetentSidekick: She ends up being the biggest threat in the Wild Hunt and the only one to be a serious challenge to the Night Raid, as she was putted Leone into mortal danger more than once, while the rest of Wild Hunt was pretty much child's play. Once she takes over Wild Hunt, she inflicts far more damage to the Revolutionary Army than Wild Hunt under Syura ever did.
* ImmortalitySeeker: Her investigations are primarily to stay young and beautiful forever.
* KilledMidSentence: [[spoiler:Leone crushes her with a boulder before she can finish making her case about why she should live on and continue her experiments.]]
* LackOfEmpathy: Zigzagged. While she has no problem in killing others [[spoiler: just to maintain her youth and beauty]], plus she [[spoiler: turned Cosmina into a beast and didn't seem bothered when Akame killed Izou]], she nonetheless was clearly saddened when [[spoiler: Syura died]], and thus very disturbed [[spoiler: when [[EvenEvilHasStandards his own father did not show the same emotion]].]] She was also surprised just how quickly Syura moved on after Enshin's death, as the two seemed friends, though in truth, Syura as a clear {{Sociopath}} never really cared about Enshin.
* ALighterShadeOfBlack: A very downplayed one, but she is this compared to the rest of [[PsychoForHire Wild Hunt]] and to [[TheSociopath the Prime-Minister]]. Unlike the rest of her group, Dorothea is never seen performing atrocious acts such [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil as rape]] (aside from an AttemptedRape on Tatsumi) or senseless slaughter. She experiements on others, even her former colleagues, but this makes her more of an [[ForScience amoral scientist]] than an actual sadist. [[spoiler: She drinks others' lives to retain her youth and extend her lifespan, but this goal, even if extremly selfish, is somewhat human, since [[MortalityPhobia most people display a clear fear of death and some will do extreme things to avoid it]]]]. Her interactions with others, like showing [[spoiler: sadness over Syura's death, and [[EvenEvilHasStandards shock at seeing that Honest didn't care for his own son's death]]]], and forming [[VillainousFriendship a friendship with Suzuka]] clearly show that she is capable of feeling empathy and does have standards, which separates her from the rest of Wild Hunt that were all a bunch of sociopaths that never showed any concern for each other and only wanted to do atrocities ForTheEvulz.
* MadeOfIron: Seriously, it took a lot to kill her. [[spoiler: Leone punched her hard in the stomach and she recovered quickly; she kicked her in the spinal column, which would have killed most people or at least paralyzed them, yet she was mostly fine, and finally, Leone broke her neck and she was still alive. Leone had to crush her with a giant boulder to finish her off.]]
* MadScientist: She is the Doctor Stylish of Wild Hunt. [[spoiler:She turned one of her own colleagues into an enormous monster that grew stronger from consuming human flesh and was capable of surviving [[OneHitKill Akame's sword.]]]] Later it turns out [[spoiler:she modified the Ultimate Teigu [[HumongousMecha Shikoutazer]] with her alchemy to make it even more powerful]].
* MarathonBoss: Compared to most foes, she does as her fight with Leone lasted three chapters. Compare that to the rest of Wild Hunt that all dropped like flies.
* TheMedic: She serves as this for the rest of Wild Hunt.
* MortalityPhobia: Her primary motivation. She is terrified of both growing old and dying, which drove her to drain the life of several people and research methods to extend the regular human's lifespan. Leone berates her for such hyppocrisy, since the people she killed didn't want to die either.
* MotiveRant: She gives one to Leone, claiming that she was using her teigu to maintain her youth, while searching for a method to expand humans' lifespan. Since she only said this while being at Leone's mercy, it is ambiguous whether her goals were somewhat well-intentioned or she was simply trying to convince Leone to spare her.
* MusclesAreMeaningless: Not only is she short, but her physique is quite lean, compared to other girls like Esdeath, Akame and Leone. And yet, she displays incredible feets such as throwing a large man a few meters to the air, jumping to suck his life and land on her feet after; managing to overpower Leone in terms of strength with just a hand and surviving several blows that would be fatal to ordinary people.
* MrsRobinson: Of the horrific kind. [[spoiler:She's an old woman who attempts to rape the much younger Tatsumi.]]
* TheNapoleon: She is one of the shortest characters and seems to have a nasty temper when angered.
* NeverMessWithGranny: [[spoiler: She is an old woman and the strongest memeber of Wild Hunt.]]
* NotQuiteDead: [[spoiler: Leone finishes her battle with Dorothea by breaking the alchemist's neck. Dorothea then plays possum, expecting that Night Raid will leave and that she can recover from her injuries. However, Leone takes the precaution of making sure Dorothea is down for good...]]
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: At first Dorothea seemed to be the typical EvilGenius, the scientist that stays in the lab and doesn't stand a chance in combat, much like Doctor Stylish. Then, when she finnaly gets her chance, she destroys entire revolutionary camps, with only Izou and a monstrous Cosmina, and when Night Raid appears, her CrazyPrepared tactics gives them a tough fight and she nearly kills Leone twice.
* NotGrowingUpSucks: Although she seems generally satisfied with her near-immortality, she expresses resentment towards Cosmina's more mature figure and shortly before [[spoiler: she dies, she mentally pictures herself looking considerably older and dressed in a more Stripperiffic outfit.]]
* OlderThanSheLooks: [[spoiler: Her exact age is unknown but her fight with Leone reveals that her blood-drinking keeps her young and when she sustains a strong attack from Leone begins showing visible wrinkles on her face.]]
* OnlySaneEmployee: If we take into account the group she belongs and the kind of people she works for, Dorothea is easily the sanest, and that says a lot. On some occasions, she actually seems to regret choosing to work for the Empire.
* TheParalyzer: She uses a paralyzing gas that turn those who come into contact with it into stone during her fight with Leone, who mistakes it for a [[DeadlyGas poisonous gas]]. [[spoiler: Dorothea then drains all of Leone's blood, but thanks to Lionelle's regenerative abilities and stamina, she survives this.]]
* PetTheDog: She got along well with Suzuka and even taught her alchemy, which [[spoiler: Suzuka later used to perseve Esdeath's hand.]] This might have been a small act, but it was without a doubt the kindest act that any member of Wild Hunt is seen performing.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: Wild Hunt's shortest member, being aproximately from the same size as Mine, and physically the strongest, even stronger than Leone, thus making her the second strongest female character in the manga.
* ProperTightsWithASkirt: She wears black and white striped tights.
* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: After previously not getting the appeal of it like her fellow members, Dorothea ltierally gets a taste for it after sucking some of Tatsumi's blood. [[spoiler: While Tatsumi is a prisoner of the Empire, she attempts to sexually assault him along with Suzuka]].
* ShoutOut:
** Her character design, the clothes she wears, and her blonde hair makes her a manga version of [[Literature/AliceinWonderland Alice]].
** The monster that she releases in the end of her battle with Leone at the beginning appears as a shadow with multiple eyes. Could be a [[Manga/FullmetalAlchemist Pride]] reference?
** She isn't the first [[spoiler:[[Film/TheWizardOfOz witch in striped stockings crushed to death under a heavy object]]]]...
* SlasherSmile: She flashes a really creepy one when [[spoiler: Leone breaks her neck and she fakes her death, looking forward to have her revenge when she recovers from her wounds.]]
* SmugSnake: Compared to the rest of Wild Hunt, Dorothea comes off as the greatest threat in terms of combat. However, she puts too much confidence on her skills and underestimates her enemies. During her fight with Leone, she had her opponent at her mercy more than once and didn't kill her then, which led to her death.
* StrawNihilist: A possible interpretation for her. She believes that the average human lifespan is too short and this not only terrified her, but made her obsessed with finding a way to achieve eternal life, to the point of draining the life of others and performing experiments. And being a scientist, she may not believe in the afterlife, which just adds up another reason for her to fear death.
* SupernaturallyDeliciousAndNutritious: In chapter 50, when she's feasting on Tatsumi after he's subdued; she comments on how his blood is incredibly delicious, intense, and rich.
* ThisCannotBe: [[spoiler:After Leone has just brought her down by delivering a NeckSnap to her, she's lying flat on the ground, on her back, muttering this trope. Then she witnesses [[HalfTheWomanSheUsedToBe the way Tatsumi finishes Cosmina]], horrifying her, which causes her to lament her ambitions, before feigning death as a last resort (which doesn't work with Leone, of course).]]
* TokenGoodTeammate: Again, Very Downplayed. Of all of Wild Hunt, Dorothea is the only one that is capable of showing empathy, displays EvenEvilHasStandards and even a PetTheDog moment.
* TrouserSpace: During the fight with Leone, she whips an alchemy capsule out from deep within her underskirt. She later draws a gun, presumably from the same general area.
* UnderestimatingBadassery: [[spoiler:How she predicted the fight to go with the newly modified Cosmina at her side to play out agaisnt the main players of Night Raid. She was even given a word of warning by fellow wild hunter; Suzuka about Tatsumi's level of growth and ability. noting he fought against two of the strongest generals in the empire no less and not only [[PunctuatedForEmphasis survived But, WON]]. Even going so far as too suggest that they take him out on the spot saying it's too dangerous to leave him alive. But she just blew it off as [[IdiotBall "high praise"]] coming from her, brazenly believing such an opponent let alone all three were weak enough for her pet creation to slaughter them all. Boy did that bite her in the ass when she and co ran into Tatsumi, Akame and Leone; on all accounts.]]
** [[spoiler: On Akame's part, while figuring Izou wouldn't pose much a threat to her; Dorothea short handed the former thinking her modified danger beasts whose bodies are [[DishingOutDirt swamp consistent]] can snare her sword even with the one hit kill danger, crippling her fighting capability. which ends in shock on her part due to Akame not simply depending on her teigu to dispatch the small platoon of similar creatures, [[GoodOldFisticuffs Bare Handed]].]]
** [[spoiler: More pronounced in her fight with Leone. True the former had even greater physical power than her due to [[SuperSoldier alchemic enhancement]] on her part, but while strong Dorothea's still [[GlassCannon physically feeble]] compared to a more able combatant. Plus she lacked in speed and failed to take note of Leone's regeneratory capabilities; twice, both times literally came back to spite her.]]
** [[spoiler: But the most prominent kicker she got was when her remade creation; Cosmina came crashing in after an Incrusio clad Tatsumi put her pet abomination on it's ass. Viewing the whole thing from the sideline as he [[NoSell trumps]] all of her best attacks. Dorothea however banks on one of her creations best weapons to seal the deal only to find it less than [[AcquiredPoisonImmunity ineffectual against him]] due to his surviving the [[FatBastard prime minister's]] sleaze tactic during the execution. At the end of said adversaries battle the outcome of which pretty much left her speechless on top of defeated.]]
* UnskilledButStrong: As stated by Leone, she might possess very physical strength, but she lacks experience in actual combat, as expected from someone whose main job is to stay in the lab. Zig-zagged, however, as she compensates this lack of skill in fighting with possessing skill in alchemy and using items that can the tide to her favor.
* VillainHasAPoint: [[spoiler:Leone concedes that Dorothea had a point when she said the average human lifespan is too short]].
* VillainousBreakdown: When she starts her fight with Leone she is confident about winning the fight. [[spoiler: However, despite nearly killing her enemy, she underestimates Leone's regenerative abilities and when her opponent appears without a scratch, she starts to scream in anger and lose her cool. Even when she reveals her Trump Card, a grotesque {{Eldritch Abomination}}, Leone still defeats her. When Leone is about to crush a rock over her to make sure that Dorothea is dead for good, she starts to cry and plead with Leone for her life. Leone kills her without thinking.]]
* VillainousFriendship: [[spoiler: "Friendship" might be an exaggeration, but she seemed sympathetic when she told Prime Minister Honest of his son Syura's death, and the two frequently shared amicable meals with each other. She also seemed quite friendly with Suzuka. Towards the other Wild Hunt's members, however, this trope is subverted, since she turned Cosmina into an insectoid beast for her experiments and didn't seem upset when Izou was killed by Akame.]]
* VillainsWantMercy: [[spoiler:When Leone is about to crush her to death with a massive boulder, Dorothea begs for her life, saying that all she wants is to stay young and beautiful forever. Leone ignores her plea and crushes her to death.]]
!!!Teigu:Absordex
* CuteLittleFangs: On Dorothea at least, the fangs look cute.
* FangsAreEvil: Absordex are a pair of blood-sucking fangs that maintain someone's youth if they drink blood frequently.
* LifeDrinker: Absordex can make its owner young forever from draining the blood of living beings.
* LiquidAssets: The transfer of blood and life energy from victim to attacker seems to be how Absordex functions.
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: The abilities of Absordex have many similarities with the powers of {{vampire|Tropes}}s, but the user is still human.
* RedBaron: Blood Collection: Absordex.
* VampiricDraining: Her Teigu allows its owner to bite into a victim and reduce them to a withered husk in mere seconds.

-->''"Oh, my beloved Kousetsu... I... will feed you now."''
A swordsman with great bloodlust, who enjoys fighting and killing enemies.

His katana, Kōsetsu, is actually not a Teigu; in fact, he has no interest in them whatsoever. He is nevertheless an [[BadassNormal incredibly skilled swordsman]].
----
* AntiClimax: Syura once said that Izou was capable of compensating both Enshin and Champ. He is later killed somewhat easily by Akame.
* BadassNormal: His katana is stated to be normal (by their world's standard), and not a Teigu.
* BlackEyesOfCrazy: Has red eyes with black scleras.
* BetterThanSex: While the Wild Hunt is [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil "investigating"]] a theatre group suspected of writing plays that harm the image of the Prime Minister, Izou instead prefers to stand outside [[BloodKnight carving any would-be escapees to pieces]].
* BloodKnight: He loves to "make blood rain" and "feed" his sword Kousetsu the blood of his kills.
* CoDragons: Replaces [[spoiler:Enshin after his death]] and shares this position with Dorothea for Syura. [[spoiler: He later shares this position with Cosmina for Dorothea when Dorothea takes over what's left of Wild Hunt after Syura's death.]]
* EyesAlwaysClosed: He keeps his eyes shut unless he's cutting down scores of people, in which he reveals his [[BlackEyesOfCrazy black sclera]].
* FightsLikeANormal: All members of the Wild Hunt have a Teigu, but unlike the rest he has no interest in it and is entirely devoted to Kousetsu. His Teigu is never revealed.
* HeroKiller: [[spoiler: As Lubbock would testify. Akame later avenges him.]]
* HungryWeapon: Played with. Izou treats Kousetsu as such and is devoted to feeding it "blood" above everything else, but there's nothing to indicate in-universe that it's anything more than a delusion.
* LackOfEmpathy: Unlike other Wild Hunt members like Champ or Cosmina, he is not a crazed lunatic who enjoys raping or harming people, or drawing out their suffering. He is just addicted to fighting and using his sword to kill, without a care for the lives of people he ends. In fact, he has a sense of honor, as shown [[spoiler: when he kills Lubbock, admiring him for being able to put up a fight in spite of having suffered horrible torture]].
* MasterSwordsman: Frequently cuts down groups of Mooks in single slices.
* MoralSociopathy: He praised [[spoiler: Lubbock for his tenacity]] after he killed him.
* NamedAfterSomeoneFamous: Shares his name with Okada Izou, one of the most famous assassins of the UsefulNotes/MeijiRestoration.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: In the manga, he [[spoiler:destroys Shambhala when he kills Lubbock, leaving Honest without an effective means of escape when the victorious rebels come knocking at his door]].
* NumberTwo: To Syura.
* OralFixation: The classic straw version, as seen in the image above.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Izou's eyes are red, as this [[http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/akamegakill/images/3/3e/Izou_boss.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150222204907 image]] from Tashiro Tetsuya would confirm.
* SpannerInTheWorks: See NiceJobFixingItVillain. The Revolutionary Army has a lot to thank Izou.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Much like Dorothea, heavily downplayed. He's the only Wild Hunt member who isn't a rapist (or even an attempted one) and he's capable of VillainRespect, [[spoiler:giving it to Lubbock even after quickly defeating him]].
* TheWorfEffect: During all the Wild Hunt arc, Izou is shown as a powerful opponent that kills people like flies and even, in Syura's words, being as powerful as Enshin and Champ combined. Also he [[spoiler: kills Lubbock]] easily, setting him up as a serious threat. [[spoiler: However, like Enshin, he is effortlessly killed during his fight with Akame.]]

[[quoteright:225:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/c4551bec7b79ec6a7d72961f06700b4d.jpg]]
-->''"Oh, my. There's nowhere for you to escape. Poor things. At the very least, let me sing you a farewell song on your journey to Heaven!"''
A singer from the Western Kingdom that was accused of witchcraft by the people of her village, who burned down her house with all her family inside. She was the only survivor, and was recruited into Wild Hunt.

Her Teigu is Great Tremor: Heavy Pressure, a microphone that amplifies her voice into devastating ultra-sonic waves that can pulverize the bones of her victims.
----
* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: Because of her ability to manipulate people with her voice, the people of her village branded her as a witch and burnt her house down with her and her family in it. Cosmina was the only one to survive.
* AllWomenAreLustful: She happily indulges in her sexual activities, which include an entire theatre troupe of men, and shamelessly flirts with Enshin and Run.
* AnimalEaredHeadband: She wears a bunny ears accessory on her head.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: She was persecuted and branded as a witch because her voice has the ability to manipulate people. This such persecution later led to her entire family being killed and their house set on fire. Unfortunately, she survived the fire, but went [[SanitySlippage completely insane]] by the tragedy.
* DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale: Averted. Her victims shouldn't be considered, ''in any way'', lucky men for being raped by her.
* DumbMuscle:
** A rare female example. In combat, [[WhenAllYouHaveIsAHammer her only action]] is to face enemies and fire her destructive sound waves at them until they die. She thinks ''nothing'' about defensive measures and lets her guard down all too quickly on the battlefield, even when it's obvious that there's still potential enemies that pose a definite threat to her.
** Her "upgrade" by Dorothea turns this aspect up, as she is now a hybrid between a mantis and a tank.
* EvilDiva: She's a singer who is part of Wild Hunt and her voice has the ability to manipulate people.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: Her eyes have a [[BishieSparkle sparkle]] sign in her pupils.
* FreudianExcuse: She apparently used to be a sane, decent human being. That all changed when the people of her village, who feared her ability to influence their behavior with her songs, deemed her a witch and burnt her house down with her and her family in it. She was the only one to survive. The event turned her into the monster she is. Though the fact that she apparently influenced people with her songs might imply that she wasn't a good person before the event.
* GenkiGirl: She's always seen upbeat and energetic. Considering the stuff she does, it is unsettling.
* GlassCannon: She has devastatingly destructive attack power she can emit over long distances, but other than that aspect, she lacks defensive ability of any kind.
* GoodThingYouCanHeal: Dorothea can repair her to some degree but turns her into a cyborgmonster in the end.
* HalfTheWomanSheUsedToBe: [[spoiler: How Tatsumi finally kills her in her monster form.]]
* MadeOfIron: She's been known to mysteriously survive the giant fire that burned her entire house and family to ashes and even survived [[spoiler:a shot from Mine's Pumpkin but keeps a hole from it.]]
* TheNicknamer: Refers to her fellow Wild Hunt members Syura and Champ, as "Shurry" and "Champie", respectively.
* NighInvulnerability: With her modifications she becomes this instead, with SuperMode Tatsumi admitting she is one hell of a tank and requires many of his special moves to defeat.
* PlayboyBunny: The outfit that she wears from when she is first introduced.
* PosthumanNudism: [[spoiler: By the time Dorthea mutates her into a monster following being shot, she no longer wears any clothes]].
* PsychopathicWomanchild: She has a constant smile on her face even when she's killing, flirts shamelessly with any handsome man in her company, and treats all of her battles as concerts where she's "entertaining" the opponent with her "singing".
%%* ReallyGetsAround: She, like Syura and Enshin, participates on mass raping.
* SinisterNudity: [[spoiler: After she gets shot through the chest, Dorthea strips her down nude and eventually mutates her into a more hideous man-eating beast that heals itself.]]
* TooDumbToLive: She tries to have her way with a heavily injured Run ''in the middle of a battlefield'' [[spoiler:and [[InTheBack gets shot through the chest]] by Mine for her trouble.]]

!!! Teigu:Heavy Pressure
* MusicalAssassin: Heavy Pressure is a microphone Teigu that allows its owner to amplifies its voice with devastating effects.
* RedBaron: Great Tremor: Heavy Pressure.
* SuperScream: Heavy Pressure allows its user to transmit long range sound waves, strong enough to shatter the skeletons and implode the brain of any unfortunate target caught in its radius.

[[quoteright:225:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/73afd839564edee122af2a92a62029d3.jpg]]
-->''"A woman's hand isn't meant to hold guns. It's meant to serve me."''
A pirate from the Southern Islands, recruited by Syura into Wild Hunt.

His Teigu is Moonlight Sword Dance: Shamshir, a curved sword that emits slicing air blades. Its power is dependent on the lunar phase, being at its strongest during a full moon.
----
* TheDragon: Dorothea noted that Enshin was possible the closest member of Wild Hunt to Syura. He also acted as the unofficial leader of Champ and Cosmina during Wild Hunts fight with the Jaegers [[spoiler: and later Night Raid]]. However, [[spoiler:he was replaced by Dorothea and Izou after his death.]]
* ManiacTongue: Often has his prominent tongue sticking out of his mouth like some sort of lizard, usually when he's about to engage in something unsavory.
* ObviouslyEvil: Constantly has his tongue rolling down and has a rather [[ReptilesAreAbhorrent reptilian]] kind of look.
* OhCrap: When Akame dodges the attacks from his Shamshir, and [[spoiler:then swiftly kills him with her Murasame. The look on his face when he realizes her strength sums it all up.]]
* ProperlyParanoid: Of Run's reasons for ingratiating himself to Wild Hunt, which turn out to indeed be insincere.
* SerialRapist: He violated many women during the Umatora Theater inspection, and it isn't impossible to say he doesn't have more victims.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Of Wild Hunt, he was the one with the least screentime before his death and, except commentaries of Dorothea about him, we knew nothing about him apart of his likes of rape.
* TheWorfEffect: In his fight with Run and Kurome, his Teigu was in its prime and offered a challenge to the Jaegers, but [[spoiler: is easily killed by Akame when Night Raid come to the battle.]]

!!!Teigu:Shamshir
* {{Lunacy}}: Shamshir is a curved sword that can create [[SwordBeam aerial blades]] which can grow stronger depending on the lunar cycle. When it's a full moon is when it's more powerful.
* MeaningfulName: The Teigu is named in base to a curved sabre originated in central Asia. Its name is derived from Persian شمشیر (romanized as shamshīr) which means "sword" in general.
* RedBaron: Moonlight Sword Dance: Shamshir.
* SwordBeam: Shamshir's main power is to create aerial blades in base to the lunar cycle.

[[quoteright:225:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/5141adf9a7ba6c86155f31774c1a20d8.jpg]]
-->''"Where's the shack full of super-cute children?"''
A depraved clown that enjoys raping and killing children, he's recruited into Wild Hunt.

His Teigu is Ace Solution: Die Leaguer, six orbs that are each imbued with a different element, such as fire, ice or lightning, that is unleashed when thrown at a target.
----
* ArchEnemy: To Run. [[spoiler: It was killing Run's entire class that led to Run joining to Jaegers to find Champ and avenge their deaths.]]
* AxCrazy: While he may seem quiet and reserved initially, he is in truth a violent and perverse monster.
* BerserkButton: Angrily beats to death a woman when she tried protecting her son from him trying to rape him, showing that he does not take it well at all whenever somebody tries to defend a child from his advances.
* BishieSparkle: Whenever he sees a child or gets passionate in speaking about his love for children.
* TheBrute: Strongest of the group physically, he's just dumb muscle.
* ButForMeItWasTuesday: When asked by Run if he remembers his massacre of students back in the town of Joyou, he struggles to remember the memory until he thinks about the amount of children he raped and killed.
* ChildrenAreInnocent: In a very twisted aspect, this is the reason why he kills children. [[NotAllowedToGrowUp To prevent them from becoming "filthy adults"]].
-->'''Champ:''' [[InsaneTrollLogic "Adults are worthless. They're all scum! Angels should just stay angels forever."]]
* CruelAndUnusualDeath: Run counters his Flame Orb, causing him to be incinerated and burned to death until all that’s left is his burning skeleton
* DepravedBisexual: He doesn't care about the gender of his victims. He will brutally rape and kill any child he gets his hands on. "To make sure angels stay angels forever." He will even smile with sadistic glee just seeing a child, or thinking about a group of them being rounded up for his "pleasure."
* DumbMuscle: He's strong enough to be recruited as a Teigu wielding member of Wild Hunt yet is easily fooled by Run into following him into some abandoned ruins in an attempt to ambush him and kill him with the promise of having prepared a group of small children just for his pleasure.
* EyeScream: In his retaliation against him, Run fires a [[FeatherFlechettes feather]] into his eye.
* FatBastard: In terms of evil and girth, he gives the [[BigBad Prime Minister]] a run for his money.
* HateSink: A MonsterClown who manages to become a specific target of hatred even in the low bar of Wild Hunt. A SerialRapist ''and'' SerialKiller of children, he desires to take as many as he can before they grow to adulthood and in a particularly disgusting moment, even has trouble remembering some of his victims due to sheer volume.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: In the end he is killed when he [[spoiler:throws his Flame Orb at Run, who in turn activates Mastema's Divine Wings, which [[CatchAndReturn deflects]] the orb back at Champ incinerating him into a skeleton.]]
* ItsAllAboutMe: Claims he kills children to prevent them from becoming filthy adults but rapes them for his own pleasure - this is demonstrated when he recalls getting annoyed back when [[spoiler: he had his way with Run's class, who screamed for their teacher's help, citing it ruined his "good time".]]
* KarmicDeath: [[spoiler:Champ is killed by Run, the teacher of the class that he had raped and murdered. Run was also described as resembling an angel, whom Champ wanted his victims to "remain" as he raped and murdered them, making his death further karmic]].
* {{Kevlard}}: It seems it was his fat and body size that allowed him to continue kicking after all the punishment he took.
* KnightTemplar: What makes Champ all the more disturbing is that he appears to genuinely believe he's doing something noble by raping and murdering children, letting them "remain angels" and not grow up to be "scum".
* MadeOfIron: Has the courtesy of being hit by a [[FlechetteStorm barrage]] of Mastema's FeatherFlechettes, which can pierce through bone, [[ColdBloodedTorture tortured by Run]], stabbed repeatedly in the torso and still has the strength to find Run and Kurome and attack the pair with his Teigu.
* ManOnFire: [[spoiler:He gets burned to death after Run reflects his Flame Orb back at him.]]
* MightyGlacier: He's very slow but his Teigu can deal immense damage in both long- and short-range combat.
* MonsterClown: Especially monstrous, when one considers his [[PaedoHunt sexual preference]].
* NoHistoricalFiguresWereHarmed: Is a very blatant pastiche of John Wayne Gacy.
* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: Beats an innocent woman to death simply because she tried to prevent him from having his way with a young child in a theater group.
* NotSoStoic: He drops his [[TheStoic stoic demeanor]] when he happens to spot a cute child. Unfortunately, this is also [[{{Squick}} coupled with arousal]]...
* ObliviousToHisOwnDescription: Kills children so they won't grow into worthless, scummy adults. Looking at the rest of his folder, you can guess what he is.
* OhCrap: [[spoiler:When Run reflects his Flame Orb right back at him, which in turn soon causes him to be incinerated.]]
* ScaryBlackMan: He has dark skin, and is among the worst of the Wild Hunt.
* SerialKiller: Described as such by Syura.
* SerialRapist: [[PaedoHunt Of children.]]
* TheSociopath: Champ has the shallow affect, LackOfEmpathy, pathologically violent behavior, tendency to rationalize his depraved acts, and his need for stimulation. This is further reinforced by his resemblance to John Wayne Gacy (a real life Sociopath and SerialKiller and [[SerialRapist rapist]] that dressed up as a clown).
* UnskilledButStrong: He's physically powerful and durable, but doesn't have much in the way of actual combat expertise. When ambushed by Run and Kurome, he gets defeated in seconds while barely putting up a fight, and then gets taken out by his own attack.
* WouldHurtAChild: In terms of depravity this separates him from most other villains in the series including his own equally depraved teammates. So much so that "hurt" is completely underestimating the lethal danger that he puts children in.

!!!Teigu:Die Leaguer
* BlowYouAway: Storm Orb, an orb imbued with the power to unleash an incredibly strong hurricane.
* ElementalPowers: Die Leaguer is a group of six floating orbs each imbued with an element that activates after being thrown.
* HavingABlast: Explosion Orb, an orb imbued with the power to generate an immense explosion.
* AnIcePerson: Ice Orb freezes any opponent it hits.
* MakeThemRot: Rot Orb causes whoever it hits to swiftly decompose.
* OrbitingParticleShield: Champ is able to spin the orbs around in a circle to deflect bullets shot at him.
* PlayingWithFire: Flame Orb, an orb imbued with the power to incinerate an enemy to mere bones.
* RedBaron: Ace Solution: Die Leaguer.
* ShockAndAwe: Lightning Orb stuns its target with a powerful electric shock.
