Riri Itou is the Protagonist of The Witch of the Library Room. She and her best friends Misao and Mako are part of the "Hijiri Alliance" out of adoration for one of their classmates. But she would give anything to be closer to him.
------
* BewareTheNiceOnes: She starts off as very friendly and kind, if insecure.
* Fangirl
* GoryDiscretionShot: She isn't shown being crushed by the book case, nor is the aftermath of her shoving her friends down the stairs.
* LackOfEmpathy: After realizing she killed/harmed her friends under the false belief they had the book, she only lingers on it for a second, having been too far gone by this point.
* RelationshipUpgrade: She really wants this with Hijiri, but out of loyalty to her friends she tries to ignore it until she believes she might actually have a chance with him.
* WithFriendsLikeThese: She has this opinion regarding Mako and Misao after she begins to think they want her dead.
* Yandere: It isn't fully explored before her death, but she shows minor traits of one near the ending of the story.

The overly shy Protagonist of Soprano of Miracle who is given the solo for an upcoming competition. She has little to no confidence in her abilities until she finds a strange lump that gives her an amazing voice.
--------------
* DisproportionateRetribution: when she's extremely stressed out she is shown to become violent. She not only attempted to stab the lump with a led pencil, but she came within inches of stabbing Miyu after overhearing what sounded like her and her friend making fun of her.
* MeaningfulName: Mixed with IronicName, Uta means song.
* ShrinkingViolet: She's so fragile that she can barely speak to others, and she frequently comes close to tears.
* YankTheDogsChain: After realizing the lump has vanished, she was shocked to realize she could still sing amazingly well. But to her choir mates horror, they find it now growing out of her head. According to Yomi it will eventually cover her entire body.
* YouAreNotAlone: She gains a newfound confidence after realizing her classmates support her and has fun singing with them.

------
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: Yukio got the Christmas she wanted, at the cost of her friends lives and a Yandere doll. But unlike most cases, she is shown to be very happy with how things turned out.
* DealWithTheDevil: In a way accepting Emily-chan could be seen as this. She kills anybody who gets close to her owner, and she will turn on them if they push her away or if she finds someone new.
* HereWeGoAgain: she takes Noelle's place as Emily-chan's favorite person.
* ParentalAbandonment: Both of her parents are forced to work a lot to get by as they don't have much money, leading her to feel this way. Even when she comes home Christmas morning she finds them having left already. It was this that causes her to accept Emily's gesture of friendship.
* WithFriendsLikeThese: Noelle wasn't exactly her friend yet -nor did she plan what happened- but she still counts. She happily tells Yukio that her friends were nosy and deserved to be killed by Emily, then tries to sic the doll on her.

Yuna is the selfish protagonist of Midnight Kotatsu. She loves getting New Year's money, but after discovering her younger cousin received more than her, she decides to hide it from him as a prank.
------
* DeathByMaterialism: It was her Greed that caused her to resort to a childish prank, which eventually led to the spirit of her Grandfather finding her.
* LackOfEmpathy: It's not her fault if Sora didn't listen to their grandmother. Her uncaring behavior as they try to search for Sora leads to her mother slapping her.
* TheScrooge: Yuna clearly doesn't care about anything unless money is involved. She's a SpoiledBrat who for fun likes comparing money amounts with her friends, she spends it on frivolous things, skips formalities and courtesy to count it, and she gets envious if someone has more than her. She was even shown to only miss her deceased Grandfather because he would give her more money in secret.

* GirlishPigtails: Braided, over the shoulder ones held by ribbons.

------
* BreakTheCutie: Like other protagonists in two-parters before her, she gets put through a lot. Not only did everyone in class turn against her, but everyone in the school as well. She was also dumped by her boyfriend, then attacked by girls older than her. When she finally gave up and quit going to school she still got harassed. But she manages to earn a HappyEnding for herself.
* SanitySlippage: Momentarily lapses into this around the middle of the story, after everything she's been put through at school she sits by herself and a box cutter falls out of her pack. Her reaction as she picked it up implied she was going to harm herself or her classmates.
* TheFakeCutie: What she gets accused of after the bad reading. She admits that she does at times have unpleasant opinions but she never openly says and otherwise appears to be as sweet as she looks.
