A sheep. Our hero, such as he is. He's moved to Zootopia to get a job loading trucks, and didn't at first realize that he'd gotten himself into an all-predator neighborhood. While a FirstPersonSmartass, he tends to be much more timid out loud, and just trying to deal with life one day at a time. Not unfriendly, but often awkward, particularly around women.
----
* SixthRanger: In-Universe. Remmy joined Pack Street long after everyone else in Al's pack were close friends, replacing [[spoiler: Kenny]]. When he eventually joins the pack he becomes an omega, and often struggles with habits and unspoken rules the others are already familiar with.
* AdaptationDeviation: Bizarrely, his 'Meles Meles' shirt he wears frequently in the comics to the point of LimitedWardrobe, is never given a mention in the prose story. He brings up Meles Meles as one of his favorite bands, but that's the extent of it.
* AffectionateGestureToTheHead: As with Dawn Bellwether, he often gets taller predators feeling his pompadour hair out of affection or interest, which tends to bug him.
* AmazonChaser: Predators are his fetish, and he shows attraction with some regularity to women larger and stronger than he is, such as Betty and Pandora.
* AmbiguouslyBi: While he clearly likes the ladies, in "Just Business" he seems to take notice when Cliff and Neil hug each other, shirtless and sweaty after a basketball game. He also seems to get flustered when Neil jokingly invites him and Ozzy over for a "private game", although it's unclear if he was actually interested.
-->'''Remmy''': So, okay but, do you think he was being serious? Or like--\
'''Ozzy''': Desperate's not a good look, woolly bully. You gotta try playin' it cool once in a while.
* AnimalGenderBender: Invoked, discussed and zigzagged; despite being a ram, Remmy lacks horns, although when Wolt asks him about it in "Field Day", he says that it's natural -- some rams just don't have horns. Conversely, some ewes ''do'' have horns, although he notes that it tends to be seen as an unsexy trait.
* AscendedToCarnivorism: Perhaps his most defining trait is that Remmy absolutely ''loves'' the taste of meat. He tries to get at least one "bug burga" each week, and when introduced to fish later in the series, it becomes his favorite food.
* BewareTheNiceOnes:
** Though he's hardly a mountain of muscle and lacks horns, he's still a ram and so that means he's considerably stronger than he looks. In "Power Forward", Avo makes the mistake of holding a punching bag and daring him to give it his best shot. Despite being self-admittedly out of practice, the resultant headbutt slams into the punching bag with such force that Avo is floored from the kinetic energy behind the blow. Later, in "Sheepfacts", she notes that if Remmy did have horns, he might have broken one of her ribs when he did that. And this was with a predator-scale punching bag, roughly twice Remmy's size, cushioning the blow; now imagine just how much damage he could do with a clear shot to somebody's head or chest[[labelnote:+]]broken bones and ruptured organs come to mind[[/labelnote]].
** Remmy has a real bad temper that can explode when he finally reaches his limit, as shown in "Fall Back" when Remmy finally flips out over how he feels he's being treated like dirt by his neighbors for his species.
* BiggerIsBetterInBed: When Betty and Avo start teasing him about his first visit to the local sex shop, he defensively blurts that he and his "nine and a half inches" have never had any complaints before. It's not clear if he's really that big or not, but he certainly got their attention with that claim.
* BizarreTasteInFood: Aside from his appetite for meat, he's also fond of Cool Mayo flavor chips, and is a little put out when he learns that everyone else thinks they're gross.
* ButtMonkey: Remmy never seems to catch a break in Pack Street, from being openly ridiculed and embarrassed by his neighbors to having bad luck in general. [[spoiler: Things start to lighten up for him a bit after becoming a part of the pack, though.]]
* ChickMagnet: He certainly attracts their attention, though it's derisive more often than it is affectionate, given how {{tsundere}} most of them are.
* CovertPervert:
** He's very much a [[FantasticSlur predophile]], even as he loudly denies it. Unfortunately for him, EveryoneCanSeeIt. Then there was when he wandered into the local adult bookstore by mistake, decided to stay as a joke, and became increasingly interested in the toys on display.
** When he found [[spoiler: Kenny's stash]], it included a pinup photo of Betty he became very interested in. Although he tried to hide it from Ozzy, it wasn't hard for them to put two and two together, and Ozzy agreed not to tell Betty or the rest of the pack about his peeking.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: There are very subtle hints that he left his family and/or his old flock on very bad terms, particularly given the way he eventually chokes when he starts talking about sheep flocks in "Sheepfacts". Given his status as a "wannabite", it's likely that had something to do with it. Remmy is also offended when Avo makes an assumption about his family and responds "you don't know my family" in "Cooking With Remmy".
* ADogNamedDog: Very nearly. His name is one letter off from '''Ram''my'.
* ExplainExplainOhCrap:
** A variation. In "Sheepfacts", whilst jokingly giving a seminar about sheep to thank his neighbors for finally extending a hand in friendship in a way that he can actually understand, he inadvertently gives out some facts about sheep mentality that exposes some of his own insecurities and problems, reminding him of his own unintentional moments of insensitivity and his own hang-ups, which quickly kills off his good mood and makes him give up.
** In "Jam", when he realizes that Ozzy heard him asserting his relationship to a "Judge Cormo of Savannah Central, Second District", Remmy ''freaks'' and barely manages to hold off an apparent panic attack to assure the hyena that he was lying.
--->I can't hold the facade. My eyes are wide, I'm grinning so hard my face hurts, and all of a sudden the laughter's coming out of me so hard and fast I'm having trouble breathing. Also, my heart is going like four thousand miles an hour.\
"Ha ha ha he's not," I blurt, manic. "I just made that shit up. I'm not even related to the guy, it's just a common last name for sheep!"
* FirstPersonSmartass: Despite being quiet and unassuming in person, his thoughts betray a deep-running bitterness that manifests as unspoken sarcastic thoughts. The narration usually notes the few times he comes up with a joke but chooses ''not'' to say it to protect himself or the target.
* FriendToAllChildren: Remmy has been shown a few times to be good with children, such as his friendly run-in with [[spoiler: Betty's wolf pup]] in "Among Wolves" and later reading to kids in Pack Street's library in "I Did Good Today".
* GagPenis: He's sensitive, on account of being on the small side for a sheep, but is entirely unaware that ''nine and a half inches'' is pretty much the opposite of a problem where his female neighbors are concerned. Even Betty and Avo are rendered speechless when they find out. [[UnreliableNarrator It's not clear if he's telling the truth or not.]]
* HalfIdenticalTwins: In the gag comics, he's shown to have a (dubiously canon) twin sister named [[PunnyName Femmy]]. Apart from her eyelashes, which sometimes aren't even drawn, she appears identical to her brother.
* HardHead: Despite his lack of horns, Remmy's skull is thicker than most sheep, as he demonstrates ramming a punching bag with Avo behind it and knocking her backwards through it.
* InnocentlyInsensitive:
** A frequent offender, given the institutionalized FantasticRacism and the general predator/prey segregation in this universe. At times, it builds to a head and he winds up being outright offensive, but he does his best to make amends. It helps that a lot of his insensitivity comes from the PoorCommunicationKills from his neighbors; after they finally start talking to him more openly, he starts being a lot less of a jerk.
** Subverted on some occasions. For example, in "Field Day", he's got no issues answering Wolt's various questions about sheep, like why Remmy lacks horns, and even lets Wolt touch his wool when he realizes the aardwolf wants to do so.
* InSeriesNickname: "Yarn Ball", generally by Avo and Betty, "Woolly Bully" (after the song of the same name) by Ozzy, "Mutton" by Al and "Li'l Lamb" or "Mister Marshmallow" by Dora. More generally, he's called "Grazer" at first and "Wannabite" later. Most of these began as InsultOfEndearment before he got used to it.
* MysteriousPast: There's only one person who knows Remmy's history, and that's Remmy himself. This covers everything from how he developed a taste for meat and why he moved to Pack Street to just who his family is. He claims to be the son of a "Judge Cormo" from Savannah Central, Second District, in "Jam" in order to [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections scare off a]] DirtyCop who was shaking Ozzy down for money, although he immediately asserts to Ozzy that he was lying about the relationship. Given how absolutely panic-stricken he was at realizing Ozzy had heard him, one has to wonder...
** In "To Market", he comes clean that he has an older sister named Chloe and a younger brother, currently unnamed.
* NWordPrivileges:
** A variation. According to "Sheepfacts", he sees absolutely no problem with being called "hoofer", an implicitly oft-derogatory nickname for ungulates, simply because, well, it's accurate, and it rolls off the tongue more readily than "ungulate" does. Subverted in "Cooking with Cormo", where Remmy mentions his distaste for 'grazer', and Avo accordingly tells the pack to avoid using the 'g-word.'
** Betty also gets ugly to him when he calls her a bitch behind her back, less because of the insult and more because he's a sheep using a term aimed at canines.
* PredatorPreyFriendship: Rather intrinsic to the plot. If anything, there comes a point where he seems to be more comfortable around his predator friends than the few prey he meets. One of the only herbivores he routinely sees and is on good terms with is Velvet.
* UnluckyEverydude: A classic example. He's socially uncomfortable, tends to make a fool of himself around women, and somehow almost always manages to wind up in the most embarrassing position when Avo, Betty, or Charlie walk in.
* UnreliableNarrator: On top of all the information he refuses to share with the audience, such as what made him move to Pack Street in the first place, he'll sometimes leave out parts of the narrative entirely. When the story starts, he's implied to have just moved in and is still getting to know everybody. In 'Cooking With Cormo', we find out through Avo chewing him out that he was actually living there for a ''week'' before that, during which time he refused to talk to or even look at anyone. With this context, their hostile and teasing attitudes near the start make a lot more sense, and we see just how deep anti-pred sentiment runs in him even if he learns to overcome it.
* XenophobicHerbivore: Initially, which dies down after some time. He spends an entire week avoiding his predator roommates, and even once he begins talking to them he's initially plagued by fears of them turning savage. He's never ambivalent or malicious towards them, however; One time early on, mistaking a dominance exercise for an attack, he even forces himself into the situation to try and defuse it out of fear of Avo getting hurt or killed.
* YouAreFat: Crossed with InformedDeformity, Remmy is repeatedly made fun of for being fat by the pack. He resents this, as his roundness mostly comes from having as much wool as he does, and goes away when he shaves; he's actually quite slim under it.
* YoungerThanHeLooks: It's hard to place Remmy age-wise, but the closest would be mid-twenties. [[spoiler:He's nineteen years old.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Al]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/portraitalweaver.png]]

A tundra wolf. The officially-unofficial landlord of Remmy's apartment building, big wolf on campus, and essentially self-appointed keeper of the peace. He brooks no nonsense and insists on respect, but has a softer side that very few people ever get to see. His day job is as, essentially, a living forklift for a rodent-scale construction company, as seen in "Chum".
----
* TheBigGuy: The biggest guy in the apartment building. It certainly helps his image as the Alpha. It's also essential for his job.
* BigManOnCampus: He was this in high school, and still carries himself with much of the same swagger.
* ChildhoodMarriagePromise: [[spoiler: With Velvet. Both of them still consider it to be valid, although "Just Business" shows that Al is [[CommitmentIssues dragging his feet on making it official]] and is a little touchy about it.]]
* TheCynic: As a result of being raised to view the discrimination against predators in the news since a very young age, Al has become very cynical. This also results in his FantasticRacism.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Only hinted at in the comics, but it seems to include a lot of general anti-predator discrimination and [[spoiler: Velvet's]] older brother beating him up in an effort to dissuade their relationship.
* FantasticRacism: He appears to harbor a grudge against prey in general, but the truth is more complex.
* LargeAndInCharge: Al is the biggest character in the pack, and the second-biggest seen as of yet, just behind Pandora.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: When Pandora [[spoiler: gets out of the hospital and]] sees him again, she ends up revealing that his given name is 'Albus'.
* ProudWarriorRaceGuy: He's the Alpha, and occasionally has to fight to maintain that. All the canines understand that, and to get acceptance you have to earn his trust by standing up to him.
* TeamDad: [[spoiler: He does NOT take kindly to members of his pack getting attacked.]]
--> [[spoiler:"That whole 'no snitching' thing you seen on TV, I appreciate what you're going for, that's for '''cops'''. You gotta tell '''me'''. That's how this gets sorted. That's how this doesn't ever happen again."]]
* TookALevelInKindness: After Remmy apologizes to him and makes it clear that he doesn't want to be enemies in "Chum", and perhaps acknowledging his own part in the whole meltdown, Al gets a ''lot'' more laidback and easy-going. As early as the next story, "Field Day", he's shown openly laughing over Remmy's asking if being the new "Omega" means he's got to take a vow of chastity before good-humoredly assuring him that Anneke, Marty and Charlie were just dicking with him for laughs, something that would have been unthinkable for Al in earlier stories.
* WhiteWolvesAreSpecial: Al is a white wolf, and the Alpha above everyone else in Pack Street.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Betty]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/portraitbetty.png]]

A timber wolf. She lives next door to Remmy and company, and is heavily involved with them. Fond of teasing, and intimidatingly large to Remmy, she takes notice of him the day he moves in and is immediately curious. One of Remmy's potential love interests.
----
* ActionGirl: She stands up to Al, considering herself just as equal, and not hesitating to talk back to him when she thinks he's feeling sorry for himself or past his prime.
* ActuallyPrettyFunny: Her EstablishingCharacterMoment. After insulting Remmy for his lack of horns, he turns it around on her by calling her pants 'mom jeans', which Anneke and Wolter both get a laugh out of. She's initially cold to this, demanding to be left alone with him, and he fears the worst before she ends up picking his lock so he can get in and leaving without retaliating.
* FeminineWomenCanCook: Zigzagged. She's rather masculine, but while caring for Remmy in bed she demonstrates a rare feminine trait by making vegetable soup for him. It tastes good enough for him to recall it while eating fish much later.
* HugeGirlTinyGuy: She serves as this whenever she's standing next to Remmy.
* MamaBear: She acts this way repeatedly towards Remmy, when not [[ToughLove berating him]], in particular nursing him back to health in bed with soup. [[spoiler:It's not surprising, as she is in fact an actual mother, as "I Did Good Today" reveals.]]
* MasterOfUnlocking: She can easily unlock Remmy's door with her claws, though they're not particularly good locks in the first place. She's actually employed as a locksmith.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: Less so than Charlie, but it's there. She invites herself into his place twice, once to shear him against his will and once to take his temperature and care for him during his fever, including putting a thermometer in his mouth without asking.
* OnlySaneWoman: Zig-Zagged. She ''is'' the first one to realize that maybe the preds have been making their own unfair assumptions about Remmy. This is why she's the first one to talk to Remmy during "Stray" and actually make some show of asking why he blew up at Al.
* SassyBlackWoman: Fur color aside, she does kind of fit the archetype, albeit the more sarcastic type. In the portrait above, she's responding to "Queen bitch coming through."
* SmokingIsCool: She tends to chomp on cigarettes a lot, to the point that Remmy learns early on to recognize her coming just from the smell.
* StrugglingSingleMother: [[spoiler: Downplayed. While her current situation seems stable, the examples she gives of how the Alpha helps the pack seem to imply that she's had trouble in the past. Plus, in "One for the Road", she worries to Velvet about whether she's raising her pup right.]]
-->[[spoiler:"Someone's kid getting shit at school and the faculty won't get their paws dirty? The alpha puts a stop to that. Some mama wolf in the pack whose deadbeat husband fucked off doesn't have money for formula or diapers for her pup? Alpha makes it work."]]
* {{Tsundere}}: She's rough on Remmy, but just as often sweet, as seen in "Stray" when she personally nurses him back to health when he's feeling sick.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Marty]]
[[quoteright:228:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/portraitmarty.png]]

A stoat. Surly, quick to distrust and lash out, he's the librarian of the Pack Street library. He tends to complain a lot and looks down on people who aren't as sophisticated as him, but often ends up becoming the ButtMonkey as much as Remmy. He's surprisingly gullible and paranoid. Very close to his sister.
----
* AudienceSurrogate: For a certain part of the audience, anyway. He's very much a literary snob, arguing passionately about how ''[[Literature/HarryPotter Hairy Porker]]'' screwed up in the last couple of books, becoming what he considers a FranchiseZombie, and in the comics loudly debates about ''Literature/HouseOfLeaves''.
* BookWorm: Not surprisingly for a librarian, he surrounds himself with books.
* ConspiracyTheorist: At least, he's very ready to believe that they exist if even a hint of evidence is provided. Remmy uses this just to {{troll}} him during the events of "B.R.E.", which at least he takes with good humor.
* FantasticRacism: He's also paranoid about prey in combination with the above trope.
* HiddenDepths: When he gets worked up into a paranoid frenzy and convinces himself that Pack Street is going to be destroyed by a sheep conspiracy, his first reaction is to beg Remmy to keep Ozzy safe. That was the first sign that there was more to Marty than just irritability and attitude.
* JerkassToOne: While not exactly the nicest member in the pack, he's especially openly hostile towards Remmy.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: If his close friendship with Ozzy is anything to go by, he's not quite as nasty as he comes across most of the time.
* TheNapoleon: He's one of the smallest guys around, but he's got a temper as big as Al.
* OddFriendship: With Ozzy.
* ShorterMeansSmarter: The smallest member of the pack, yet is a bookworm and a librarian.
* ShoulderTeammate: Certain comics depict him getting around by laying on a larger packkmate's shoulders, such as Al.
* TheSnarkKnight: He often tries to be this, but always somehow winds up being out-snarked by the target of his derision.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Anything grape-flavored, much to the disgust of everyone around him, who are thoroughly sick of it whenever he's in charge of getting food.
* WholesomeCrossdresser: [[spoiler: It's heavily implied that his sister, Martina, may actually just be Marty himself with a WigDressAccent. Also, that "she" might have a crush on Al]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ozzy]]
[[quoteright:332:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/portraitozzy.png]]

A striped hyena. A street musician and probably the most mellow character on Pack Street, Ozzy seems eager to please almost everyone, but is unafraid to engage in good-natured ribbing or minor criminal acts when roped into it or he thinks the target really deserves it. He's good friends with Marty.
----
* AmbiguousDisorder: Whatever it is, it seems to contribute to his usually submissive personality and easygoing nature, and is severe enough that he requires regular meetings with a government agency.
* AmbiguouslyGay: Cliff and Neil suggest, with knowing chuckles, that he won't be bringing any girls home any time soon, but stop short of actually outing him, if that's quite what they meant. When asked about Avo's camshow by Remmy he claims it's "not really his thing" and when questioned on why he's single he takes it as flirting and responds that he is "[[WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons flattered -- maybe even a little curious]]" but states he's not looking for a relationship.
* BigDamnHeroes: Jumped in to protect Remmy from an angry bear during a block party.
%%* DarkAndTroubledPast: While not mentioned yet in the stories, the comics show that he was homeless as a child and encouraged to constantly keep smiling and laughing to chase the troubles away by his single mother. He lost her at a young age when he couldn't get her medicine to her in time.
* DirtyCoward: Though he's not so dirty about it, he cowers before his case worker, Velvet, and sells out the uninformed and innocent Remmy as keeping him from attending his meeting when he (Ozzy) willingly went with him instead of attending.
* TheHyena: He's always up for a good laugh. Also, his species.
* OddFriendship: With Marty. Tiny, irritable librarian and huge, laid-back musician.
%%* StepfordSmiler: His mother taught him to constantly smile and laugh to chase off the troubles, and he's had it rough.
* WaxingLyrical: He tends to play appropriate songs on his guitar when he feels the time is right.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Avo]]
[[quoteright:340:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/portraitavo.png]]

A jackal. She seems to enjoy being somewhat apart from everyone else and as sarcastic as possible, but though standoffish, she will respect someone who actually puts in the effort to get to know her and the community, which she cares about more than she initially lets on. ''Loves'' to make the nominally prudish Remmy squirm about his obvious fetish. Another of his potential love interests.
----
* ActionGirl: She works out a lot and is clearly in good shape, and it's suggested she's talented at boxing.
* AnimalStereotypes: Or racial, perhaps, in that her room has an Egyptian theme.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Assuming the extra comics by Weaver are canon, [[spoiler:she used to be an upbeat cooking channel host, which got her nothing but abuse and lewd comments, leading her to turn to pornography. This does explain much of her behavior in "Cooking With Cormo".]]
* DefrostingIceQueen: Largely hostile and rude towards Remmy at first, putting him down whenever possible, but as he shows that he's not trying to be superior, and that he can actually keep up with her, she becomes more and more friendly and even flirtatious.
* EthicalSlut:
** Though in the stories she hasn't been shown actually having sex, she works at Pandora's adult bookstore and has a more than healthy appetite for it, at one point offering to go down on Remmy if he'll just admit to being a predophile. She also keeps dildos that double as ''objets d'art'' in her apartment.
** "Cooking with Cormo" reveals that [[spoiler:she performs live adult camera shows from the second bedroom in her apartment. She unreservedly tells Remmy about it when [[IWasJustJoking he jokingly asks]], and apparently everyone else in the building already knew.]]
* TheFreelanceShameSquad: Has Remmy just gotten himself into a humiliating situation? She's likely to wander by, though it's at least somewhat justified in that she works nearby and has to walk past his apartment to get to her own.
* HiddenDepths: Owing to her backstory explained in more depth in the comics, she surprises Remmy by demonstrating a good knowledge of cooking she uses to cook for him after he burns a mac and cheese.
* JerkAss: Her trolling efforts, in particular, can really make her out to be an asshole. For example, she does give Remmy some valuable advice about apologizing to Al, but then she throws in "advice" that turns out to be almost as big a faux pas as the one Remmy made in the first place – only Remmy's genuinely confused panic and the sight of the laughing jackal helps Al put the pieces together, which means she almost got him kicked out for laughs.
* ShownTheirWork: Though Remmy just calls her a jackal, she is noted by the author to technically be an Egyptian wolf, reflecting the taxonomic shift, and thus is counted as part of the wolf hierarchy. Specifically, she's the omega, [[spoiler:until Remmy joins the pack as the new omega]].
* SweetTooth: Avo is virtually never seen without a lollipop in her mouth and admits to being addicted. She has giant jars of them. Worse yet, she's allergic to aspartame, so they're all real sugar.
* {{Troll}}: Massively, though her pranks sometimes are to serve a good purpose by forcing someone into a situation that they need to be in but are chickening out of.
* WomenAreWiser: Unlikely as it seems, she's been the one to most often dispense wisdom to Remmy about how to proceed socially, including giving him a much-needed chewing-out/pep talk when he seriously angered Al in "Fall Back".
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Charlie Foxtrot]]
[[quoteright:340:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/portraitcharlie.png]]

A fox. The shadiest resident of Pack Street, she appears to be a professional criminal. She tends to pop up when Remmy is least expecting it, and to have a relative lack of shame. It's something she doesn't apologize for. She seems to only go after men she finds unusual for one reason or another. The third of Remmy's potential love interests.
----
* AmbiguousDisorder: Not in the same vein as Ozzy, but her slightly stilted speech, apparent inability to grasp [[LiteralMinded double meanings]], and lack of social mores against nudity and barging into people's rooms suggest that she has ''something''.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: She seems a bit confused at the concept of knocking on an apartment door, rather than simply picking the lock, and justifies stealing cable from somebody because they stole it first.
* CuttingTheKnot: Marty tried to lock her out of his room. She can pick locks, but instead opted to break it to get in.
* DrivenToSuicide: The comic "Charlie's Chapter Epilogue", set after the events of "Savages", her SurvivorGuilt at being spared the "disease" whilst Pandora wasn't causes her to try and overdose on sleeping pills. [[spoiler: Fortunately, not only is she saved by Marty, but it's AllJustADream.]]
* {{Expy}}: Not quite, but she is reminiscent of [[Literature/MillenniumSeries Lisbeth Salander]].
* EyesAlwaysShut: In the artwork. In-story, she squints a lot and has tiny, beady eyes. In "Sheepfacts", they widen just enough for Remmy to see that they are blue.
* InnocentFanserviceGirl: [[NakedFirstImpression She was completely naked the first time she met Remmy]], and didn't seem to be bothered by it at all.
* LadyLooksLikeADude: As per her GenderBlenderName, Charlie looks pretty masculine.
* LastNameBasis: She only calls Remmy, "Cormo".
* LovableRogue: She may be shady as hell, but she's one of the most affable people on the block.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: One chapter begins with her suddenly appearing in Remmy's bed. While he's trying to go to sleep.
* SheCleansUpNicely: [[http://68.media.tumblr.com/757db315de2a181758134caf2213184a/tumblr_opiincdHnT1r5h2ogo7_500.png A wig and more open eyes makes her look like a completely different vixen]].
* ShipTease:
** [[spoiler:In "Charlie's Chapter Epilogue", Marty not only saves Charlie from committing suicide, he passionately assures her that ''he'' would miss her in response to her self-recriminations. The two then share a tender kiss before she wakes up.]]
** [[spoiler:In the "Transformation" mini-story, [[ShutUpKiss she steals a very intense kiss from Remmy when he's about to blow her cover]] after [[INeverToldYouMyName she says his name while in disguise]]. Later on, despite the bad "haul" of only a few dollars, she admits to herself the night wasn't a total waste as she wipes "the taste of sheep" off her lips.]]
* StealthHiBye: She has an impressive ability to show up unannounced.
* SurvivorGuilt: When Pandora goes savage, Charlie expresses the feeling that it should have been her instead, since Pandora makes a living cleanly in comparison to her own underhanded deals.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Anneke & Wolter Van Der Veld]]

A pair of aardwolves. Brother and sister are equally childish, often irritating, and oversexed. Anneke in particular tends to make passes at Remmy, but he's apparently not seriously interested in her.
----
* BrotherSisterIncest: There's nothing ever confirmed, but, there are occasional hints they may have sex with each other. When meeting with Anna's ex, he accuses the two of them of inbreeding, which Wolter avoids responding to.
* TheDividual: [[DownplayedTrope Downplayed]]. They're usually together, but not always.
* EveryoneHasStandards: They refuse to sleep with anyone underage.
* HalfIdenticalTwins: Presumably.
* LovableSexManiac: "Lovable" might be a stretch, but they're not seriously malicious, just irritating.
* ObliquelyObfuscatedOccupation: Remmy has no idea what they actually do when they're not clubbing, though he wouldn't be surprised to hear they were in "the world's oldest profession".
* OoCIsSeriousBusiness:
** After Pandora goes savage, Anneke is too shaken up to enjoy a night on the town that she had planned with Remmy.
** After [[spoiler: the savage hoax is exposed]], Anneke starts acting cold and hostile with Remmy, angry about how he bought into the anti-predator narrative. Al mentions that it's caused problems between her and Wolt as well, and notes that they're not the type to fight over personal disagreements.
* ThoseTwoGuys: Their usual role.
* ViewerGenderConfusion: It's hard to tell which one is which in the illustrations.

[[folder:Velvet Roe]]
[[quoteright:259:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/portraitvelvet.png]]

A white-tailed deer. A city social worker, she's specifically assigned to Ozzy's case, keeping an eye on his AmbiguousDisorder, but she also has more personal reasons for visiting Pack Street frequently. Usually calm, cool, collected, and polite, she tends to provide a much-needed voice of reason and stability whenever she's around, though she's also awfully quick to jump to judgment.
----
* AnimalGenderBender: She's a doe with (small) antlers. This is clearly intentional and not ArtisticLicense, since Remmy lampshades it, but the reasons for it have not yet been explained. [[http://www.arkansasmatters.com/news/ar-local/susanne-brunner_20150817045831988/207120843 And yes, does with antlers do exist]].
* ChildhoodMarriagePromise: With [[spoiler:Al, and she reciprocates the idea that the two of them are still engaged]].
* TheFreelanceShameSquad: She also tends to turn up at just the wrong moment for Remmy, usually through no fault of his own, to the point of CantGetAwayWithNuthin... although she becomes less angry with him when she realizes that he genuinely ''didn't know'' what he was doing wrong with Ozzy. The latter leaving the ram to take the fall for it didn't help matters, either.
* InterspeciesRomance: Deer/[[spoiler:wolf with Al, and it's a very old flame]].
* NotSoAboveItAll: Despite being one of the more mature and responsible characters, she is still ''very'' amused by the phallic-shaped snacks sold at Pandora's Box.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: The closest thing Pack Street has in terms of actual government supervision.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Pandora]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/portraitpandora.png]]

A Siberian tiger who owns "[[DoubleEntendre Pandora's Box]]", the adult book and toy store that Avo works at, she's a bit of a fixture in Pack Street. Cheerful, extroverted in the extreme, and never one to balk at societal norms, she's also apparently a regular source of jobs for Charlie when she needs something special and not-quite-legal.
----
* BigFun: She's muscular rather than fat, but is very solid, huge (by far the tallest character in the series), and a constant source of ''joie de vivre''.
* TheBusCameBack: [[spoiler: Finally gets out of the hospital in "Just Business".]]
* EthicalSlut: As an adult shop owner, she has elements of this. She's admired by others for keeping it SafeSaneAndConsensual, and in a few comics she returns Remmy's clear attraction to her with sex.
* FriendlyShopkeeper: Keeper and owner of ''Pandora's Box'', the local sex shop.
* GirlyGirl: Besides Velvet, she's the most ladylike mammal in the series. She's not afraid of being feminine and is quite a flirt, at least with Remmy.
* TheHedonist: In a very unusual, nurturing and motherly sort of way.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: She makes a bad first impression on Remmy by first meeting him in Bug Burga, assuming he's there for his girlfriend (then, realizing she's upset him, implying that [[NotThatTheresAnythingWrongWithThat he might be gay instead]]), and generally being startled to see prey around. Not that she means anything by it.
* InSeriesNickname: Everybody calls her Dora.
* LovedByAll: When [[spoiler: she goes savage]], it becomes clear just how many people care about her from the outpouring of grief after. Even Don seems to have had a soft spot for her, as he demands Remmy keep her name out of his mouth while [[spoiler: beating him.]]
* NiceGirl: Aside from her brief faux pas in the first chapter, Pandora might very well be the nicest character in the whole series. She's never anything but kind, polite, helpful and generous to everyone she comes across, and is possibly the only person Remmy loves hanging out with without any reservations.
* TheNotLoveInterest: Unlike most of the other females in the series so far and despite their constant flirty banter, she's not a potential love interest for Remmy. They both acknowledge they're not the other's type.
* [[SacrificialLion Sacrificial Tiger]]: [[spoiler: Though not killed, her being turned savage offscreen kicks off the WhamEpisode that starts to cause things to spiral downhill very quickly. Everyone is shocked and appalled, Charlie goes into traumatic SurvivorsGuilt mode, and even Avo, now jobless, is at a loss for words.]]
* StatuesqueStunner: Tall, athletic and very curvy.
* TheTease: Comes with the territory when you own an adult store you raised from scratch.
* TooGoodForThisSinfulEarth: She's depicted as unfailingly good and pure, and LovedByAll. [[spoiler: When she's Night Howlered, the entire street suffers as a result, and it drives wedges between many characters as a result.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:"T" Rex]]
[[quoteright:331:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/trexportrait.png]]

A badger. He works at the local [[BurgerFool Bug Burga]] and is apparently almost-constantly high. On the upshot, this seems to make it easier to deal with the kind of abuse he takes every day. Either way, he's willing to give out good advice if he thinks you really need it.
----
* BadJobWorseUniform: See the image. Bug Burga has some goofy uniforms for their employees.
* BurgerFool: Slightly averted. He actually doesn't seem to mind his job much, and is never anything but polite and chummy to customers, especially Remmy.
* DrearyHalfLiddedEyes: As seen in the image, he's drawn and described with these.
* GRatedStoner: His attitude, physical attributes, and habits highly suggest drug usage, which Remmy notes, but he's never actually seen or said to consume anything.
* InSeriesNickname: His name's just "Rex", but he's cool enough to warrant the dinosaur allusion.
* NiceGuy: He's a chill, friendly due who's cool with everyone.
* ThePigPen: Rex is routinely noted as being filthy, covered in grease and doing things like scratching his chin with the spatula he uses to cook on top of it.
* ScullyBox: Evoked. Whenever art depicts him behind the counter, he's always standing on a box to make himself taller. In a cast shot, he's among the smallest of all the characters.
* SpeciesSubversives: Of BadOlBadger. Rex has no temper on him, even when yelled at, and responds to Remmy's burst of anger with unexpected kindness in turn.
* TheStoner: He constantly acts slow, relaxed and mellow. His eyes are described as cherry red when Remmy first meets him. It's unclear if he's really on drugs, though.
** EruditeStoner: Despite his mellow nature and possible drug use, he can give very good advice and make deeply philosophical observations.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Cliff & Neil]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cliff_and_neil.jpg]]

A tiger and a lion, respectively. Friends of Avo's and regulars at Packer's Gym.
----
* GossipyHens: Or rather, gossipy tiger, considering Cliff seems to speak to everyone about what Remmy was up to. [[spoiler: It gets Remmy in trouble when Don hears the tiger mention that Remmy was on the scene during Pandora's "savage attack", which makes the coyote believe Remmy had something to do with it.]]
* LovableJock: Both are avid athletes, and both are quick to befriend Remmy.
* StraightGay: All but confirmed to be a couple.
* SupremeChef: Neil runs a taco stand and introduces Remmy to his first taste of fish meat; Remmy compares the taste to dying and going to heaven.
* ThoseTwoGuys
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kenny]]
[[quoteright:254:[[labelnote:Click this text to see a picture of Kenny (spoiler)]]https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kenny_4.jpg]][[/labelnote]]

An ex-Packmate and former occupant of Remmy's apartment. In jail since before the beginning of the story. [[spoiler: A llama.]]
----
* ChekhovsGunman: Ozzy mentions him in the third chapter, but it's not until chapter 28 that we learn anything about him.
** He also appeared in an apparently unrelated picture by Weaver long before being introduced, but wasn't identified by name. [[spoiler:It showed him with his own "pack", including Rasher.]]
* TheGhost: He had already moved out by the time the story starts.
* GreaserDelinquents: Remmy describes his look as this, complete with jacket, shades and a quiff hairstyle.
* TheReveal: [[spoiler: He was the first prey species to join the pack, before Remmy.]]
* TimeCapsule: [[spoiler: The "stash" he left behind in Remmy's room turns out to be a toolbox full of mementos.]]
* WeUsedToBeFriends: Whatever caused him to leave the pack seems to have left a bad taste for Ozzy, who implies that he's not the only one in the pack who doesn't miss him. Still, the collection of photos [[spoiler: in his fabled "stash"]], along with comments by his former coworker in "What You Sow", at least suggest that they had some good times together before things went sour.
-->'''Ozzy''': Some folks, you know, you'd just as soon like to put behind you. Might find that's somethin' of a common sentiment, 'round here.\
'''Remmy''': I-- wh-- I was under the impression he was well-liked. I mean, the box -- seemed like a lot of good times in there.\
'''Ozzy''': Well, sure, but who clips out an' saves all the ''bad'' memories?
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Don]]
[[quoteright:204:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/don_44.png]]

A Durango coyote and member of another pack on Pack Street.
----
* ConspiracyTheorist: [[spoiler: He fully believes that Remmy was involved in Bellwether's anti-predator plot, due to the same [[GuiltByCoincidence coincidences]] Remmy himself was previously worried about in "Wannabite".]]
* KnightOfCerebus: [[spoiler: His attack on Remmy in "Dogwhistle" marks the first time our hero's life is in genuine danger.]]
* PutOnABus: [[spoiler: In "Make Yourself Comfortable", it is revealed that, after the peace talks between Al and Mama Black Ivory, Don left Pack Street to return home to Tundratown. According to his packmate Dolph, his leaving was voluntary, rather than being expelled from the pack.]]
* VillainousFriendship: He's packmates with a golden jackal named Dewey. [[spoiler: It's implied that he was hospitalised when Pandora went savage, contributing to Don's anger.]]
-->[[spoiler: "It should'a been you. Instead of '''my buddy''' in a downtown hospital bed it should'a been you '''on a slab in the fuckin'''' '''''morgue!'''''"]]
* WalkingSpoiler: [[spoiler: For his involvement in the dramatic events of "Dogwhistle".]]
* WeUsedToBeFriends: Downplayed. He and Remmy had one cordial meeting in "Chum", but he's largely absent from the story after that. [[spoiler: Their next encounter is in "Dogwhistle", where he wants Remmy dead.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Martina]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b33d9a3255cdeb8857671f8d71f414dd.png]]

A stoat, and Marty's younger sister. Frequently found at Packer's Gym, selling snacks and drinks to raise money on behalf of the Pack Street library.
----
* NiceGirl: She is always polite to Remmy, beyond a little gentle teasing.
* ShrinkingViolet: She has a tendency to nervously stumble over her words, especially when she first meets Remmy.
* SiblingYinYang: She's pretty friendly and easy-going compared to Marty's abrasive, high-strung personality, although she insists that he's nicer than he seems under his sour exterior.
* ThemeTwinNaming: Marty and Martina, although they're not actually twins.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Shares her brother's love of grape flavors.
* WholesomeCrossdresser: [[spoiler: There are hints that she might actually be Marty in disguise. When Remmy first meets her, she sounds like she was about to call him by name ''before'' he introduces himself. She also stumbles over her own name, as if she were about to say "Marty".]]
