----
* DubNameChange: Originally known as Twigs before the game's global release.
* FlechetteStorm: With sewing needles as the flechettes. Chanzi's kit focuses on rapidly firing these needles, each of which applies stacks of "Embroidery" which are then detonated for physical damage.
* GeniusDitz: For all her embroidery skills, Chanzi is gullible to a fault and often falls victim to fraud. According to her profile, this is due to her picking up the traits of the old masters whom she studied under.
* OneHitPolykill: Her auto skill launches her needles in a fan that pierces enemies. Once upgraded to Arma Inscripta III, her normal attacks pierce as well.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Sewing needles, as noted above.
* {{Retcon}}: A relatively minor one -- at launch, she was originally classified as a Cyber Media Doll, but was later changed to Universal Anything Services, presumably because it makes more sense for a Doll skilled at embroidery to be working for a domestic services company rather than an entertainment one.
* UnwantedAssistance: PlayedForLaughs. In Critical Cascade, she tries to help Aki, who was caught off guard and forced to fight half-naked...by offering a padded jacket. The latter decides that it is too encumbering to be helpful.

For tropes relating to her appearance in ''VideoGame/GirlsFrontline'', see "[=HK416=]" [[Characters/GirlsFrontlineAssaultRifles in this page]].
----
* AmbiguousSituation: Between her teaser trailer and dossier, it's implied that Clukay is the same Doll as ''Girls[='=] Frontline''[='=]s [=HK416=]. How she got into Magrasea, however, is anybody's guess -- the titular Project Neural Cloud began and ended before the events of ''GFL'', and Clukay wasn't a part of the initial roster of the project. Her DayInTheLimelight episode reveals that she was initially assigned to guard the Commander during their first test upload into Magrasea, but most of the Exiles aren't privy to this information.
* CorruptTheCutie: Sort of. [[spoiler:The tail end of the Divergent Shadows event reveals that her LiteralSplitPersonality clone abandoned her guard post beside the Commander because she ended up getting Entropized through a superficial injury, opting to get as much distance from the Commander as possible for their safety. Her judgment ended up correct, as the Commander and the amnesiac Clukay find the clone in the Pierides sector, who by then was so far gone that she instantly flew into a [[{{Yandere}} potentially lethal obsessive rage]] at the sight of the duo.]]
* DeathFromAbove: Her Ultimate Skill calls in air support to bombard an area of her choosing with gatling gun fire.
* LiteralSplitPersonality: At the start of her personal event, Divergent Shadows, she and the Commander immediately find themselves in trouble the second they arrive in Magrasea -- they end up caught in an especially unstable area of the Enigma sector (itself already highly volatile due to its quantum computing research), and her neural cloud gets bisected into two separate entities, with the one that remained with the Commander having no memories of them and the other [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness uncharacteristically abandons her duty to guard the Commander]] long before either of them wake up from the disaster. Much of the event involves Clukay and the Commander trying to figure out what the purpose was behind her AWOL clone's actions.
* OneHitPolykill: Her Auto Skill causes her targets to explode if the initial grenade killed them. Enemies killed by other exploding enemies also play by the same rules, giving this sole skill the ability to wipe the entire battlefield.
* PartsUnknown: The header of her dossier lists everything as "UNKNOWN", and she wasn't part of the initial group of Dolls uploaded to Magrasea when Project Neural Cloud launched, instead showing up in Magrasea out of nowhere looking for "the Commander" despite Magrasea's supposed isolation from the real world. It's heavily implied that Clukay is the same [=HK416=] from ''Girls' Frontline'', and the lack of information about her is likely due to her connections with her squad "404", which [[TheSpook operates under extreme secrecy]].
* PurposelyOverpowered: Upon her introduction to the game, she single-handedly destroyed every Sniper-focused team composition that existed before her. Whether or not this was intentional was made clear when she later got Arma Inscripta upgrades, a PrestigeClass game mechanic that was usually employed to give underpowered Dolls a BalanceBuff -- a descriptor that definitely ''does not'' apply to Clukay in the slightest.
* RecycledPremise: Her DayInTheLimelight episode, Divergent Shadows, is basically ''Neural Cloud''[='=]s version of her appearance in the ''[[VideoGame/TheDivision2 Division 2]]'' crossover event in ''Girls[='=] Frontline''. In both cases, a digital clone of her is made without her knowledge [[spoiler:and said clone is turned {{Yandere}} through some form of [[TheCorruption corruption]]]]).
* StuffBlowingUp: Her game plan revolves around the use of a GrenadeLauncher, armed with grenade rounds that function largely identically to her future ''Girls' Frontline'' self -- her passive launches grenades that conditionally deal more damage if a single target is in its AreaOfEffect, and her Auto Skill leaves behind a DamageOverTime effect. She's even depicted wielding a grenade launcher in her offhand in her portrait this time, averting InformedEquipment.
* TemporaryOnlineContent: {{Downplayed|Trope}} -- unlike most other characters in the game, she wasn't added to the general gacha pool after her introductory banner ended, and her [[RareCandy Neural Fragments]] couldn't be farmed either. The only way to increase her rarity after her banner is through Neural Kits obtained from pulling duplicate Dolls, and players who didn't manage to get her at all were just plain out of luck.
* UnreliableNarrator:
** Not Clukay herself, but the Professor's recollection of her. During one of [[IntrepidReporter Willow's]] routine interviews, the Professor claims that every good story is seven parts fiction and three parts truth. Right at the end of the Divergent Shadows event, they also claim that the entire story about Clukay was completely made up, only for Clukay herself to walk into the room, reporting for her initial duties at the Oasis, understandably leaving Willow confused. Willow -- and, by extension, the audience -- are left to wonder how much of the story is actually real.
** Her dossier initially paints the Professor as equally confused as everyone else in the Oasis in regards to her [[PartsUnknown mysterious origins]] and cold demeanor, with them initially categorizing Clukay as a Svarog Heavy Industries Doll just to have ''something'' about her that isn't completely unknown. As the player unlocks more of her dossier through [[LevelUpAtIntimacy5 intimacy]], however, it becomes increasingly apparent to the Exiles that the Professor and Clukay have obviously been acquainted long before Project Neural Cloud, although nobody ever figured out anything beyond that thanks to the Professor being tight-lipped on the matter. The Exiles who have a military background also manage to figure out bits and pieces of her life before PNC -- Evelyn correctly surmises that she might've been some kind of mercenary, as her police training didn't give her skills nearly as extensive as Clukay's, and Python, the Oasis's resident DrillSergeantNasty, speculates that Clukay could give him a run for his money in terms of combat experience.

For tropes relating to her appearance in ''Girls' Frontline'', see "Type 95" [[Characters/GirlsFrontlineAssaultRifles in this page]].
----
* TheAce: Daiyan is a prodigious guzheng performer, arguably having rekindled the populace's interest in traditional arts by herself. She can also play other traditional Chinese music instruments, and her manufacturing company usually turned to her if they cannot find a professional for a particular music instrument. However, her talents do not end here; combined with her TeamMom personality, there is no wonder she is well-loved both by audience and colleagues.
** She successfully entertained the Oasis with a New Year party she organized despite being a newcomer.
** Her cooking skill is so good it made Willow broadcast it on a gourmet show, making Croque doubt whether she is a 'mere' performer doll.
** Her knowledge of tailoring helps her design her own attire in performance with success and win her the friendship of Chanzhi, a professional of embroidery.
** If her idle animation is anything, she also knows something in dancing.
* AwesomenessByAnalysis: Daiyan's profile makes note of her intellect, and this is shown in-story by her being observant and analytical. She deduced the existence of an alliance between the Rossum Sector and the Oasis by seeing the former's absence of Sanctifiers and tolerance of 'abnormal processes' like her. In Helix's personal story, she is the one to correctly deduce Bansxy's thoughts and consuls Helix on how to approach Bansxy, while sensing that the situation of Bansxy's disappearance is inconsistent with her previous behaviors and warns the Professor of this abnormality.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Daiyan is a kind CoolBigSis to her colleagues, but she can be scary when admonishing their mistakes. Sol learnt it the hard way when she tried to eat baozi inappropriately.
** On a more serious note, despite Daiyan being a musician of frail physique and gentle nature, she displayed that her sagacity makes her no weaker than other dolls. Daiyan was shown to be hardy enough to survive on her own without incident while searching for Jiangyu on solo across the whole of Magrasea, not to mention her career in Griffin in the sequels.
* BigDamnHeroes: PlayedForLaughs. In Helix's personal story, Daiyan is the one bails Helix out of being trapped by the chaotic party organized by Groove.
* BigSisterInstinct: Her first thought after being reawakened is of her sister, Jiangyu. It's Daiyan's search for Jiangyu that led her into the Oasis. As both mentioned in her profile and manifested in the story, this trope can extend to others, especially the younger girls, as she mentioned Jiangyu multiple times in front of them while more overtly affectionate toward them (sometimes outright call them 'kid' in her dialogues), and her colleagues back in Cyber Media said she often took care of her juniors, 'like a big sister'.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Daiyan views Professor as her soul mate, an important reason being the latter's comprehension of her music. Professor also saw this trope on Daiyan's TeamMom personality when they were taking care of the aftermath of New Year party, commenting that both of them are 'fated to toil'.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: When assisting Daiyan in organizing Spring Festival party, Kuro feigns getting sick to slack off. Daiyan then sends her to Florence, knowing nothing about the latter's pranks at this point. When Kuro screams due to said pranks, a departing Daiyan innocuously comments that Florence is a great nurse for quickly resuscitating Kuro.
* TheComicallySerious: Contrasting with her otherwise gentle personality, Daiyan is uncharacteristically serious about eating. The Professor gets scolded by her in dialogue for eating fast food, with one of the reasons being 'disrespectful to food'. Sol got admonished by her for eating baozi with thick condiments like ketchup because it ruins the taste. She also complained that there were too few flavors of baozi in the Canteen. That being said, she means well out of concern for the other party's health and enjoyment, and she always ends up offering to cook.
* CommonalityConnection: Daiyan respects devotion to art. She happily gives her Computational Energy quota to Twigs to support the latter's embroidery work. When she parts way with Odile and Odeta, the administrator sisters of the artistic Pierides Sector, she wishes them to watch over their arts for eternity. She is also found by Helix to be among the audience of Groove.
* CoolBigSis: As per the remarks of her former colleagues in her profile. In the bonus level of her personal story, Kuro outright says it in an interview.
-->"As once revealed by her colleagues, Daiyan would take care of those energetic younger girls like a big sister when at leisure, lending her shoulder to them."
-->"Emm... Senpai is great at looking after people, just like a big sister."
* DeclarationOfProtection: Sort of, saying it in front of Persicaria and Sol, but it is more about her devotion to Oasis and Exiles as a whole.
-->"As the Chinese idiom goes, '(friends shall) endure together for better or worse.' I am now also an Exile. Feel free to rely upon me if you need a shoulder."
* DefrostingIceQueen: DownplayedTrope. While Daiyan was already a kind TeamMom at the start, she has her share of cynicism due to her turbulent past and is shown through her reserved and cautious attitude. Her New Year story basically tells how she is warmed up by Professor's gentleness and Oasis' camaraderie. On a personal scale, when Daiyan first meets someone, she tends to be proper and polite, but as she becomes familiar with the other party, she becomes more casual and is happy to tease them. Mentally speaking, she starts with prudence, may be doubtful if the other party has reputation that seems too good to be true (in the case of Professor), but she is quick to appreciate positive traits in others (like Antonina) and always comes with sincerity in interaction, like accepting the duty to organize Spring Festival Party just after arrival (it is implied she is still hesitant about whether to stay in Oasis or not at this stage), or comforting Persicaria on their first meeting.
* ElegantClassicalMusician: A guzheng performer that is graceful whether she is playing or not.
* {{Foil}}: Arguably one to several of Cyber Media dolls.
** To Jiangyu, her little sister and [[AvertedTrope supposed]] SuperiorSuccessor. Daiyan is known for her agile mind and fragile body, due to the delicate components used to ensure her dexterity. Jiangyu exiles in athleticism...both due to sturdy construction and devoting the majority of her neurosoul space for related softwares, making her a BookDumb CuteClumsyGirl. Personality wise, Daiyan is a ProperLady, while Jiangyu is a GenkiGirl. Career wise, there is a HourglassPlot, with Daiyan unexpectedly achieved great success but things soon got downhill from there, while Jiangyu was initially proved to be abysmal as a musician and struggling as an actress but slowly worked her way up.
** To Nanaka. Both are considered stars of Cyber Media, having insecurities hidden beneath their kindness. Nanaka is determined to achieve commercial success, being an optimist that believes hard work will ultimately pay off, so conscious about public opinions that she once stopped performing when her received poor reception, and wishing her voice to reach as many people as possible. Daiyan insists on upholding artistic ideal regardless of how other people see her, being a pessimist that often considers her ideal unwelcome by the world, and prefer to play for people that understand the undertone beneath her music. In terms of mannerism, Nanaka is youthful and outgoing, while Daiyan is mature and thoughtful.
** To Chanzhi. Both are artists that detest restraints caused by commercial factors and have helpful personality. Chanzhi displays eagerness to jump into other people's problem, so candid that she appears at times naive. Daiyan has a more serene and sophisticated approach, arguably among the most mentally mature of dolls.
** To Kuro. Both can be sociable, and treasure audience who can genuinely appreciate the subtext of their arts, with Daiyan values thought above technique and sincere understanding over blind idolizing, Kuro wants to be more than a clown and hope the audience to discover the goodwill beneath. Daiyan is diligent and proper, while Kuro likes to slack off and have arguably the most... informal attitude among the Dolls. Daiyan hides her trauma beneath kindness, while Kuro's unruly mannerism covers her good nature.
** To Souchun, both are gentle and proper, have great knowledge of Chinese traditions. Daiyan is more confident and personable, actively socializes with others. Shochun is more reserved and quiet, often being too shy to speak out.
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: She is the responsible one to Jiangyu. She was the one taking care of the many blunders caused by Jiangyu when they were back in Cyber Media, which was arguably the foundation of their sisterhood.
* FriendlyRivalry: ImpliedTrope, with Persicaria. There are contexts that can be interpreted as the two competing for Professor's attention (which is more obvious on Daiyan's side), despite they never go beyond undertone. Still, their camaraderie is never diminished by it, with Daiyan being always here to lend a hand if Persicaria or Oasis has need, and Persicaria have a high regard for Daiyan in turn.
* TheGadfly: Daiyan has a mischievous side beneath her demure appearance, which becomes more prominent around those she is familiar with. She teased Antonina on her Tsundere nature. Her lecturing of Sol about how to eat baozi looked like she was just using it as an excuse to poke fun at the latter. She also has joking banters with Professor here and there, outright claiming she is enjoying it. It seems that she is generally more relaxed in front of younger girls or Professor who she respects and loves intensely, while being more reserved in front of adult women like Persicaria or males like Simo and Aki, in descending order of casualness. She also has some naughty animations like sticking out tongue.
* HappilyAdopted: Her background story with Jiangyu. When she heard that the company was ordering another doll that has the same model with her, she rejoiced about the prospect of having a friend that would understand her. No one expects Jiangyu to be the the contrary of Daiyan, being straight forward and prone to mistakes, with Daiyan came to her aid every time. Though Daiyan does not get the friend she hoped for, she gets a little sister and much of her caring personality can be attributed to this. According to her profile, she seems to be 'happier than expected' about looking after a little sister instead of having an understanding friend. Invoked according to Jiangyu's profile, as Jiangyu was originally designed to be Daiyan's younger sister (likely without Daiyan's knowledge).
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: DownplayedTrope. When Jiangyu left for Canada without telling her, Daiyan blamed herself for not knowing enough about Jiangyu despite there was no portrayal of wrongdoing on Daiyan's part. She also tends to be humble in her speech, but she has no significant confidence problem, and her insistence on her artistic ideal indicates she does have pride. It is likely more about highlighting the ProperLady and TeamMom aspects of her personality.
* HumbleHero: Her profiles noted that Daiyan never shows arrogance despite her fame, and she tends to downplay her achievements in her speeches.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Daiyan laments her difficulty in developing deep relationship with others. When she heard the news of Jiangyu's arrival, her first thought was finally having a friend that can understand her. She cherishes Professor as her soul mate, appreciating this as her most fortunate experience in Oasis.
* JackOfAllTrades: Her opinion on her social module. She can easily approach anyone, but has troubles forming deep relationships with others due to lack of specialty.
* MissionControl: ''Critical Cascade'' has Daiyan among the staff of the Command Center under Persicaria. JustifiedTrope, considering that Daiyan's mental acuity far outstrips her physical prowess. In peacetime, Daiyan was indicated to be an active organizer busying herself with the various activities of the Oasis.
* MusicalAssassin: Daiyan utilizes a guzheng for combat.
* MyBelovedSmother: In their respective interviews in the bonus level of Daiyan's New Year story, Jiangyu and Kuro both considers her to be this. While they admit that she is a caring big sister, they also point out her smothering moments like forcing Jiangyu to try new clothes and lecturing Kuro on healthy diet.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: When the company sent Jiangyu to study in Canada, she told nothing to Daiyan. After Jiangyu's departure, Daiyan had additional performances in her place. Daiyan started to realize that Jiangyu has her own difficulties despite Daiyan treated her like a kid.
* OneHitPolykill: The sound waves launched from her guzheng will hit all enemies in a line, which does more damage the more ''allies'' are also in the path.
* OnlyFriend: DownplayedTrope. May also be EnforcedTrope considering the fierce competition of Cyber Media mentioned by Sockdolager and the resulting high turnover, with Kuro being fired after less than two months and Daiyan's popularity fell back in less than one year. She had amicable relationships with her colleagues back in Cyber Media (according to Jiangyu, Daiyan did have friends in it), with they respect her as CoolBigSis and she considers it an enjoyable experience to looking after others, yet it seems these relationships are somewhat superficial except for her sister Jiangyu. When she and Kuro (a fellow Cyber Media doll) meets in Oasis, both have troubles to quickly remember each other despite hearing the other party's name (to be fair, considering that Kuro's original streaming didn't even last two months due to her controversial behaviors and she left Cyber Media soon after, and Kuro merely claimed that she watched videos of Daiyan's performances, maybe there was never enough chance for the two to fraternize). She gets better, though, as she finds soul mate in Professor and is implied to befriend Chanzhi due to shared interests in tailoring. It is likely she is on good term with Camellia as well, as Daiyan was the one that escorted Souchun to her bedroom after party and claimed that she received tea as gift from Souchun in New Year story. Generally speaking, she 'blends well with Oasis' as mentioned in her profile and appreciates camaraderie among Exiles.
-->"Here I want and can do many things"
* ThePerfectionist: Despite being generally good-natured, Daiyan is uncompromising on artistic ideal and set high bar for both herself and others in regards of guzheng. Her diligence in organizing Spring Festival party and fondness of lecturing others also show shades of perfectionism. However, said perfectionism has genuine devotion toward art and people behind, and she is generous about helping others.
* ProperLady: Speak in polite and flowery (sometimes archaic) manner, and generally shows a prudent and considerate attitude. Simo remarked on this trope and says that he felt compelled to behave himself around Daiyan.
* RavenHairIvorySkin: Her profile says she has a 'flawless look', complying with 'classical oriental aesthetics'. Professor appreciates this trope in Daiyan's Qixi Festival story.
* SecretlySelfish: What Daiyan sees herself when reflecting on her relationship with Jiangyu. She thinks that maybe she does not actually want to cultivate Jiangyu, but rather she is just enjoying looking after others.
* SentimentalDrunk: Daiyan became much more candid on her affection to Professor when drunk in the Spring Festival party. Normally she acts coyly in her 'special touch' dialogues (though the context is more about worrying about improper scenario than rejecting intimacy with Professor) and halted her initial confession to Professor in party when other dolls discovered them. A drunken Daiyan invited Professor to her bedroom and confessed, insisting on Professor staying overnight. Professor noticed this trope and commented on it.
* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: Daiyan falls quickly for the Professor due to his/her heroism and gentleness, with the end of her New Year story being staying with Professor in her bedroom at night. In her Qixi Festival story, Daiyan outright says she would not stay in Oasis from the beginning if Professor failed to live up to his/her reputation.
* SupportPartyMember: Her Auto and Ultimate Skills apply the Concordia buff to allies she hits with her projectiles, granting them the ability to inflict {{Critical Hit}}s if they don't already do so. This is immensely useful to most of the cast as skills don't critically hit unless their description explicitly says so, especially for characters like Kuro, who has high attack speed and critical hit damage stats.
* StepfordSmiler: Daiyan is genuinely kind and gentle, but there is considerable amount of pessimism lying beneath. She still treats everyone with sincerity and is generous with helping others, but not without caution and doubt. The Professor [[LampshadedTrope commented]] that she normally smiles due to politeness.
** Her performances are bound by commercial factors in reality weighs heavily on her that she claims Magrasea is a good place in this regard. According to Jiangyu in 2023 New Year Event, Daiyan took the suspension of her performance worse than her appeared, merely pretending normalcy to not trouble others.
** She initially doubts Professor's intention despite her respect for his/her heroic reputation, as she questions that if a human is willing to risk his/her life for dolls.
** She feels troubled by her inability to form deep relationship with others. Her lament on how guzheng and Jiangyu are the only two constants in her life in reality says a lot.
* TeamMom: What her fellow Cyber Media dolls consider her to be for her caring personality, with some of them literally said she acted like a 'big sister' in her profile, and she is generally considerate and supportive to others in her dialogues and story. This is largely due to her experience in looking after her sister Jiangyu.
-->"I am glad that I can bring everyone happiness."
* TearsOfJoy: In the MVP animation of her popularity poll first place skin, Daiyan has an unusual episode of this, with Professor's hands trying to calm her down.
* TheSocialExpert: As noted by Sockdolager, Daiyan can effortlessly open dialogues with nearly everyone. This leads to multiple cases of AwesomenessByAnalysis in social scenarios and contributes greatly to Daiyan's considerateness as she is quick to identify her colleagues' problem and help them accordingly. According to Daiyan, this is due to the nature of her social module.
* WeakButSkilled: The CM-ENT pattern doll was designed with dexterity in mind to become good musicians for traditional instruments, with Daiyan belonging to the top-end sub-pattern of CM-ENT 2.0A, taking all the traits of its parent pattern further, and she indeed achieved great success in her role. However, the same design left her physically frail and weak by the standard of a doll due to her sensitive and precise construction. Daiyan's delicate constitution bit her hard when the company overworked her for profit (though Daiyan herself worried more about being soulless in her performance). This is also reflected in game by her role as a GlassCannon sniper.
* WhenSheSmiles: After the Professor promises to find Jiangyu for her, Daiyan drops her StepfordSmiler façade for a moving, genuine smile.
* WhiteDwarfStarlet: Despite Daiyan's success, the populace's enthusiasm for Chinese traditional instruments ultimately faded quickly and the company could not get much profit from it. Eventually, the company suspended her performances and send her to the Project Neural Cloud. Daiyan herself took it very well, as she was always concerned that the commercial pressure would have compromised her artistic ideal of imparting thought and emotion in music. This was only vindicated when the company forced her to perform exhaustingly and excessively to increase profit, making her feel that her performances were mechanical and insincere.
* WhiteMage: When the sound wave of her second (automatic) and ultimate skill passes through allies, they will be able to critical hit with their skill.
* {{Yandere}}: ImpliedTrope. During April Fool's Day, Daiyan's doppelganger said she wants to have all of Professor's attention for herself; the real Daiyan's reaction was to be concerned about being overheard. Still, she has never shown any Yandere tendencies in action.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre:
** When Jiangyu felt bitter about her botched guzheng performance, Daiyan pointed out that said failure has nothing to do Jiangyu herself, but oversight of her designer. It did not work, as Jiangyu still considered herself being useless as a performer.
** When Persicaria mentioned Entropy to Daiyan with lingering sadness, Daiyan pulled a subtle one on her. She told Persicaria that had she not come to Oasis, she would likely be helpless in front of Entropy onslaught.
** When Helix tells Daiyan that she thinks Bansxy is angry with her for being caught slacking off while saving Helix from demolition, Daiyan tells Helix that she did nothing wrong and Bansxy is not so petty as to get angry over justified punishments. Daiyan also praises the gentleness of Helix and encourages the latter to be more open.
** For a Administrivia/TropesAreFlexible example, when Daiyan was trying to clear Groove's name and find an excuse for the latter's chaotic party, she claimed that Groove had no malice, but was merely too fanatical with music.

* MasterOfAll: She's a Sniper-class unit whose damage type automatically shift between Physical and Operand and has access to obscenely huge AreaOfEffect attacks, making her an easy pick for just about any team composition.
* OppositeSexClone: [[spoiler:The first glimpse we see of Eos, she was technically Eosphorous's female alter ego, used as a disguise to get around the Burbank Sector without drawing too much attention to himself. This Eos, on the other hand, is an entirely separate entity from Eosphorous.]]

* TemporaryOnlineContent: Like the other "Special Search" characters in the roster, Eos is a downplayed version of this. Players can only obtain her while her gacha banner's active, and her fragments are otherwise not farmable outside of it, making her rarer than most of the cast.

* EnergyWeapons: Fresnel specialty is optical research, and she weaponizes this by using various forms of lasers for combat.
* NamedAfterSomebodyFamous: Fresnel takes her name from [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Augustin-Jean_Fresnel Augustin-Jean Fresnel]], a 19th century physicist who came up with numerous theories on optics and light.
* TeleportSpam: Fresnel's passive teleports her to a random tile if she's hit by a melee attack.

----
* TheAce: Hubble not only performs well as an astronomer, but also proves to be a good writer. As stated in her profile, she likely takes this after her mistress, Dr Vera.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: She has a tendency to daydream and uttering nonsensical things during her episodes. During April Fool's Day, her doppelganger spent all of her screen time sleeping, uttering fantasies about the Oasis being destroyed and her best friend Fresnel being turned into crystal.
* GoodIsNotSoft: Hubble has a reputation of being patient and gentle, but she will not tolerate people who try to abuse her kindness. Back in 42LAB, when rivals were scheming to snatch the fund of her lab, she was quick to call them out and halt their plot.
* GravitySucks: Her ultimate has her conjure a black hole on the field. It does Operand damage, stuns enemies for a few seconds, and most importantly clumps them together, making them easy prey for her [=AoE=] attacks and any other ranged units in her party.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Hubble chucks ''miniature planets'' as her basic attack, dealing area damage.
* KlingonScientistsGetNoRespect: Her field of study, astronomy, is considered unimportant by 42lab and the world at large. This is the primary reason and excuse for her rivals in 42lab to commandeer her resource.
* NamedAfterSomebodyFamous: Some''thing'', rather; she's fittingly named after the Hubble Space Telescope.
* SignificantBirthDate: She shares a birthday (November 20) with Edwin Hubble, the astronomer after which the famous telescope was named.

For tropes relating to her appearance in ''Girls' Frontline'', see "[=MDR=]" [[Characters/GirlsFrontlineAssaultRifles in this page]].
----
* AttackDrone: {{Downplayed|Trope}}. She has a drone that she uses for live streaming and the occasional bit of travel, as seen in her battlefield entrance animation. There's at least one instance of her attacking [[FastballSpecial with the drone itself]] -- she manually pilots it into Reverence's face to throw off her pursuit of Kuro during the "Livestreaming" event.
* BadInfluencer: Kuro first gained infamy when she was banned for having a meltdown on-stream. After resigning from Cyber Media, she leverages the relative freedom of being an independent streamer by regularly fighting against her own fanbase, which in turn makes her even more popular.
* ButtMonkey: Kuro has a tendency to be poked fun at, whether intentionally or unintentionally.
* FreezeFrameBonus: Her animated skill cut-in has an extremely brief CallForward to her T-Doll identity in ''Girls' Frontline'': her drone has the letters "MDR" painted in pink on its exterior.
* FunTShirt: The black shirt she wears has 無理 printed on it in white letters, generally meaning "unreasonable" or "impossible" in Chinese and other languages that use Chinese loanwords. Considering she's a perpetual slacker and [[{{Troll}} a notorous gremlin]] on any and all forms of social media, "unreasonable" is an apt descriptor for her.
* GoneHorriblyRight: One of the parts of her unlockable bio states that Cyber Media trained her AI with various slang terms from streamer culture to produce a Doll fit for the streaming business, an entertainment sector Cyber Media was trying to break into at the time. Their scientists realized they got more than they bargained for, as she embodied the "toxic gamer" stereotype literally the second she awakened, cursing at the scientists in the room for not replacing her hospital gown with trendy clothing. Not to mentinon, her politically incorrect attitude made her ''hugely'' popular online but Cyber Media grew terrified of the type of attention she was drawing.
* HiddenDepths: [[spoiler: Despite her stereotypical "toxic gamer" behavior, Kuro idolizes Nanaka very much. In fact, it was Nanaka's shows that reignited Kuro's passion for streaming after she was laid off.]] Kuro also doesn't hold personal grudges against her fans; in her view, they simply need an outlet to lash out against the dark, oppressive world they live in, and Kuro is more than happy to provide one.
* ImprobableWeaponUser:
** Her main weapon is an assault rifle that has a keyboard in the place of its upper components.
** Kuro's active skill fires a barrage of stream comments.
* MoreDakka: Her entire gameplan revolves around spamming a steady stream of weaponized chat comments against a single target.

* CriticalHitClass: Lam's attack speed is capped to 100, with every point above that converted into critical chance instead.
* WaveMotionGun: Her Ultimate Skill, Vector Bayonet, fires an enormous laser beam roughly three tiles in width, dealing large amounts of Operand damage to any enemies unfortunate enough to be in its path.

* BunnyEarsLawyer: Despite her many quirks, Max gives her utmost devotion to her work, never allows herself or her colleagues to slack off on it. She willingly joins dangerous experiments which damages her multiple times - changing skin alone accounts for 115 of her many repair records - that her profile outright says she only avoid martyrdom due to her being a doll.
* HairTriggerTemper: Max is easily provoked. She threw a tantrum on her first day of work due to the guard mistaking her for child of other researchers, earning her a disciplinary action.
* ShockAndAwe: Max works in electromagnets, so it's no wonder she also uses electricity to fight. In-game, her lightning causes [[ArmorPiercingAttack True Damage]] and [[StatusInflictionAttack Stun]].

----
* AceCustom: Octogen was designed without hardware and software limiters common to baseline DMLT dolls. This is part of Svarog's plans to test the line for military applications, as the virtual environments of Magrasea allows them to simulate combat tests by circumventing military-industrial treaties.
* DemolitionsExpert: The DMLT series of dolls are constructed to handle demolition engineering duties, being outfitted with high thermal and shock resistance.
* MadBomber: Much to the dismay of the Oasis's residents, his penchant for blowing things up extends to everyday life, often in the form of low-yield explosives or fireworks he uses for [[ThePrankster pranks]]. He even tries to do this to the Professor in the White Day event, handing him three gift boxes, one of which has a bomb in it. The Professor figures Octogen's not mean enough to pull off a prank like this and opens all three boxes at once, with Octogen blushing profusely and admitting that the bombing pranks are [[NoSocialSkills his method of socializing]].
* MeaningfulName: Octogen is the trade name for [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMX HMX]], a military-grade explosive.
* RandomizedDamageAttack: {{Downplayed|Trope}}. The bombs he throws don't have randomized damage themselves, but he places them randomly in unoccupied tiles next to him (or unoccupied tiles anywhere on the field if he can't do this), making it hard to pull off any sort of consistent damage with him against a small number of targets.
* SuicideAttack: His ultimate deals massive damage to all enemies in an area at the cost of knocking himself out. The skill description even says Octogen will lose 100% health ''and'' guaranteed to be incapacitated afterwards, just to hammer it home, although certain skills that prevent death like Nanaka's Ultimate offer an effective workaround to this.
* ThrowDownTheBomblet: His primary method of attack is chucking explosives at enemies.

* StealthExpert: Svarog developed the Gaul line as recon and stealth specialists. Simo's kit reflect this: every five attacks, his passive gives him the Stealth buff, which [[ReduceAggro which renders him untargettable to his enemies]], and he dashes away to a nearby tile for good measure. His Ultimate Skill grants the Stealth buff and RegeneratingHealth to his entire party for a few seconds, giving them some breathing room.
* UpgradeVsPrototypeFight: [[spoiler: His duel against Tasha amounts to this, as all processes in Cyclopes (including the Administrators) are derived from Simo's combat data.]]

* ForestRanger: Sockdolager's role as an assistant hunter is meant to keep wildlife population in check. As the global Collapse Radiation catastrophe caused massive imbalances in the ecosystem, it was determined that the occasional culling of certain animals can promote biosphere recovery. To this end, Svarog equipped HT-Alpha Dolls like her with hunting skills and knowledge of nature.
* NatureLovingRobot: Though she's made to operate in wilderness, even Sockdolager's designers can't explain how she has such high affinity with the natural environment.
