11	Ramachandra, widely known as Rama, is the main protagonist of the story. He is the crown prince of the Kosala Kingdom, the son of King Dasharatha of the Solar Dynasty and Queen Kausalya. He also happens to be the seventh incarnation of the God Vishnu, born on Earth for the sole purpose of slaying the wicked [[BigBad Ravana]].

13	* TheAce: Rama was an erudite scholar in the Vedas and all other Vedic scriptures. He surpassed his own father in archery and wielding weapons. He was an expert in handling horses and elephants and driving the chariot as well as the whole science of warfare. Not to mention he was well loved by his subjects for his benevolence and charm. As a king, Rama performed the Rajasuya and hundreds of Ashwamedha sacrifices. His rule is considered to be the [[GoldenAge Rama Rajya]].
14	* AllForNothing: Despite all the efforts to rescue Sita, leading to a full scale war, Rama and Sita don't remain together for long afterwards...
15	* AllLovingHero: Rama was very peaceful and friendly. He never held a grudge against his step-mother Kaikeyi for exiling him. Instead he obeyed her and ensured that her wishes were carried out. Rama even granted asylum to Ravana's younger brother, Vibhishana, who sought Rama's protection, even when everyone else was against it. Even when Ravana had treacherously kidnapped his wife, Sita, Rama was still willing to forgive Ravana if the latter returned her. That said, Rama was capable of [[UnstoppableRage anger]]... Angering Rama was the last thing you wanted to do.

However, when some of Rama's subjects began to whisper about Sita's chastity, Rama immediately exiled her, when she was pregnant. These moments are very questionable.

So Rama had to leave them when they were sleeping. Fourteen years later, all subjects welcomed Rama and crowned him as the king.
