All names, ages, and locations stated are at the time of filming.
----
!Dax [=ExclamationPoint=] [-(12th=)-]
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/daxex.jpg]]

->'''Age''': 31
->'''From''': Savannah, Georgia

->"What's up nerds?"
----
* BlackAndNerdy: Outside the competition she's a cosplay queen, and is self described as the 'queen of all nerds'. She even entered the competition in ComicBook/{{Storm|MarvelComics}} drag, which wasn't lost on some of her fellow queens.
* BookEnds: She enters the competition dressed as Storm during her leather punk days (minus the mohawk), and in the finale, she dresses as Storm during ''The Asgardian Wars''.
* EpicFail: Gets called out by Ru and eliminated for failing to properly lip-synch to ''"I Will Survive"'', described by the judges as Drag 101 and as basic of a song for a drag queen to perform as you can get.
* FakeBrit: During interviews she speaks in a pronounced British accent despite being from Georgia.
* FormerlyFat: Used to be quite chubby as a teenager, saying that she was treated like an {{Unperson}} by other people just because of her weight.
* GenderBlenderName: Uses her real first name in drag.
* {{Irony}}: During her elimination runway she says she's wearing a gown despite them not being her normal aesthetic because she wanted the judges to see she can wear a dress that hits the floor ... one of the things she's read on about the dress was that the length was too short, in addition to its ugly, muted colors and its unfinished hem complete with loose threads.
* OurLawyersAdvisedThisTrope: Contestants are generally not allowed to dress as copyrighted characters, so officially, Dax's Storm drag in her entrance was just a white wig and leather. The thunder sound effects were entirely coincidental...
* ShockingElimination:[[invoked]] As part of the show's second double elimination, to say the other girls were gagged is an understatement.
* SurpassedTheTeacher: Of all the mother/daughter pairs featured on the show, Dax is the first drag mom to be completely outshined by her protege in the competition; Violet Chachki won Season 7 while Dax was not only eliminated early in Season 8, but was part of the second ever double-elimination in the series.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: She was just safe during the first challenge and on the bottom in the second, and was otherwise OutOfFocus during her stay on the show. As a result, viewers didn't get to learn much about the "Cosplay Queen".
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Due to the OutOfFocus nature of the edit she got the show never really expanded upon her being season 7 winner Violet Chachki's drag mother. She brings it up during her Meet The Queens video but that's it. Even worse but during the photoshoot with the winners there is no interaction shown between her and Violet. Whether or not there was some sort of interaction filmed between them we'll never know.
* WhatTheHellHero: After the judges critique her on her weird 'quadro-butt' padding, she asks the other queens about it in Untucked who all unanimously agree they noticed it. Dax then gets pissed, saying in ConfessionCam how none of the queens had said anything to her and just let her go out there with a lumpy ass ... although Thorgy does say later she ''did'' give a subtle read about her padding, but also says ThisIsACompetition so regardless she wasn't responsible for helping her competition.

!Laila [=McQueen=] [-(12th=)-]
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lailamc.jpg]]

->'''Age''': 22
->'''From''': Gloucester, Massachusetts

->"Let's turn up the juice and see what shakes loose!"
----
* EpicFail: Gets eliminated for failing to deliver it during ''"I Will Survive"'', a song Ru and Michelle say outright is basic drag.
* AHeroToHisHometown: Mentions how she was unprepared to have to work to stand out on the show, since back home she was 'a big fish in a small pond'.
* ItSeemedLikeAGoodIdeaAtTheTime: Entered the competition in a ''{{Film/Beetlejuice}}''-inspired ensemble, which she regretted when the first photoshoot had her posing with the winners of the previous seasons all dressed in their drag best. She said she felt embarrassed to be photographed alongside them in what she was wearing.
* MyGreatestFailure: During her last Untucked she did not look back on her time on the show fondly, ashamed that she was in the bottom for two episodes in a row before being eliminated. She's in tears as she explains the fear of the public backlash of her poor performance when she gets back home. Ultimately subverted - once the episode premiered, after spending eight months fearing the reaction, [[https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1202755119734949&id=247909278552876 she has received countless messages of support]], much to her surprise and relief.
* [[OneHeadTaller One Head Shorter]]: Though not extremely short for an AMAB person, at 5'6" (168cm) she is definitely dwarfed by many of the other queens like Kim Chi. On ConfessionCam, Thorgy Thor, who is roughly six feet (183cm) tall, expressly states that she loves "husky little shorties" and is very attracted to Laila.
* OvershadowedByAwesome: During her second time hitting the bottom the judges muse that Laila is just overshadowed by all the big personalities this season. The other queens also refer to her as a "background queen", a "back-up dancer", and "part of the entourage".
* {{Pacifist}}: When she's handed the "Rupocalypse" runway theme, she refuses to incorporate any of the camouflage fabric into her outfit because she thinks it's "a disgusting aspect of our culture."
* PerkyGoth: Seems to have shades of this.
* SignatureMove: The 'Death Splat'.
* ShockingElimination:[[invoked]] As part of the show's second double elimination, along with Dax [=ExclamationPoint=].
* ShrinkingViolet: Is admittedly quite shy, in her photoshoot with the other season winners she practically curls up into a fetal position beside them.
* {{Stripperific}}: Her style and dancing owes a lot to strippers. Ends up working against her during her lip sync with Dax when she takes off her dress as a last resort.
* ThoroughlyMistakenIdentity: During the reunion, she says her grandmother calls Ru "Ron Paul".
* UnusualEuphemism: in a Youtube video for Wow! Presents, as "season eight's thirstiest queen", she ranks how attractive she finds past contestants out of drag and describes a number of them as looking very ''sensible''.
* VerbalTic: Has a habit of prefixing adjectives with "quasi-", such as when she describes her look as "quasi-gothy". She does it three separate times in the first episode alone!
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Not only was she eliminated early, but she was also the only queen this season who had neither a clearly-defined niche (like Dax or Derrick) nor pre-existing fanbase (like Bob or Betty). She seemed to invoke a gothy burlesque look, but we didn't see enough of her to get a sense of her style.

!Cynthia Lee Fontaine [-(10th + Miss Congeniality)-]
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/seeenthia.jpg]]

->'''Age''': 34
->'''From''': Austin, Texas

->"Do you wanna see my cucu?!"
----
* CatchPhrase: She mentions her cucu whenever possible.
* EverythingIsBigInTexas: Claims this in regards to her ass, which she has had surgically pumped.
* FunnyForeigner: She is originally from Puerto Rico and makes just about as much sense as Tammie Brown.
* GenkiGirl: Has a quirky, cheery, and excitable personality. She's so full of energy that during ''Bitch Perfect'', she kicks so high and so hard one of her shoes ''hits and shatters the studio light above her.''
* GracefulLoser: Readily admits that her look on the runway didn't work and that because it was a risk there was the possibility it would fail. Right before she goes on the main stage for the last time she tells Robbie Turner that she's honored to lip sync against her and that whatever happens will happen.
* ImpossiblyTackyClothes: Her roller girl realness runway with knee-high cotton socks over red sheer stockings, incredibly unflattering work-out shorts, topped off with a cowboy hat. Bob the Drag Queen even goes as far as to say its the worst outfit in the entire history of the show (even citing back to Season 5's Alyssa Edwards, who previously held that title).
* MotorMouth: She's occasionally TheUnintelligible because she speaks English ''very'' fast, to the point that when she says her name, it comes off as a single word.
* [[NamedAfterSomebodyFamous Named After Someplace Famous]]: Ru nicknamed her "Santee Alley", after the LA shopping district, because that's what Cynthia sounds like when she says her full name.
* NiceGuy: Was singled out as one of the nicest queens in the competition, Bob even stating that he can feel a real genuine niceness from her, and that she's not just putting on a show. Crowned Season 8's Miss Congeniality by the fans despite her early elimination.
* RunningGag: Her talking about her cucu, her surgically enhanced posterior. It doesn't even matter if its supposed to be a serious moment, she'll still bring it up:
-->'''Cynthia''' ''(after watching her teammate, Kim Chi, fall on stage)'': My heart falls to my cucu.
* SoUnfunnyItsFunny: As Bob states, her extremely awkward performance in the ''Series/{{Empire}}'' parody challenge was funny...[[RightForTheWrongReasons for all the wrong reasons]].
* TalkativeLoon: With her MotorMouth and heavy accent many queens have commented that they have no idea what she's saying... although they can usually pick out if what she's saying is supposed to be a compliment. Naysha says this is part of her appeal -- nobody knows what she's saying but nobody cares because she's so delightful.
* TeamMom: Was a group leader during the acapella challenge, according to Bob she went to everyone on the team to spray their shoes so there would be no slipping.
* WhatTheHellIsThatAccent: Her natural Puerto Rican accent has mixed with a Texan accent.

!Naysha Lopez [-(9th)[[labelnote:*]]originally placed 12th but was brought back into the competition in episode 4[[/labelnote]]-]
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/naysha.jpg]]

->'''Age''': 31
->'''From''': Chicago, Illinois

->"Life is all about taking a gamble."
----
* AnAesop: When Chi Chi admits she doesn't like pageants, Naysha calls her out on only not liking them because she lost them. She then goes on to explain her philosophy how everything in life is a gamble, and you can always lose, but that doesn't mean you don't try. However, this can borderline on BrokenAesop since Naysha is the first queen who is sent home. Not to mention she ''assumed'' Chi Chi didn't like pageants because she lost and completely glossed the reason Chi Chi did give (concerns of nepotism).
* AscendedFanboy: She wrote a letter when she was younger asking Ru for a drag version of ''Series/AmericasNextTopModel''.
* BoringButPractical: Her argument in defense of her lack of sewing skills is that the dress she made was at least finished and wearable, even if it wasn't very polished or fashionable.
* BribingYourWayToVictory: As a pageant girl, her usual modus operandi is to buy expensive designer dresses to show off, which was most likely her ''intended'' strategy here on the show. Unfortunately, that doesn't help her when she has to sew her own outfit. Even after she's brought back into the competition, having one of the most stand-out outfits during the neon runway doesn't save her from elimination, even though her costume was arguably better than her teammate Derrick's.
* {{Determinator}}: Though it is never brought up on her short time during the show Naysha has stated that she tried out for the show at least 4 times.
** Was told many times on the pageant circuit that she was wasting her time and wouldn't win. Never let it stop her, and it's the message she tries to give to Chi Chi.
* GracefulLoser: As we see in ''Untucked'', she takes her second elimination in stride compared to the first. She's content with the effort she put in and the outfits she showed off, penned a heartfelt letter to Chi Chi, and left her a few clothing items. On the show itself, though, the [[ManipulativeEditing editing]] made her appear more of a SoreLoser, with her seeming resentful that she got eliminated while giving her 120% when Chi Chi seemed to only be giving a 50% effort ... granted its possible Naysha just had a chance to cool off between her elimination and packing up her things the next day.
* HairstyleMalfunction: During her second lip-synch for her life her wig came flying off during her cartwheels on stage.
* HesBack: Was eliminated in the first episode, but is brought back into the competition in the third episode. She's eliminated again in the fourth episode.
* InformedAbility: According to Cynthia Lee Fontaine Naysha is a 'dancer girl' ... you wouldn't have guessed this from her 'soccer mom' routine during her lip-synch for her life. [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]] finally during her second lip-synch, which has her flipping and jumping into splits across the stage... Although arguably her gymnastics weren't quite as clean as Chi Chi's and her wig fell off halfway through (while Chi Chi's stayed on despite her doing far more demanding stunts).
* KnowNothingKnowItAll: The edit she got came off this way for her first elimination. She seemed to constantly bring up her pageant background and that she won Miss Continental and that she never needed to sew because she just buys expensive designer gowns, only to get unceremoniously cut after a single poorly-constructed dress. However she gets the opportunity to redeem herself after she's brought back into the competition.
* MyGreatestSecondChance: After the [[ShockingElimination double elimination]] of Dax and Laila, Ru brings her back into the competition.
* RealityShowGenreBlindness:
** The reason she landed in the bottom two was because she committed the cardinal sin of ''Drag Race'': not knowing how to sew. Her "Drag on a Dime" outfit was the first dress she had ever sewn in her life.
** Also, taking off her shoes during her lip-sync. Many a fan have pointed out its very rare for a queen to survive a lip-synch if they take off their shoes just so they can dance better, its well known Ru prefers seeing her girls show off their boogie in heels.
%% Naysha is not a Spicy Latina. She may be Latina, but at no point does she display the hot temper associated with this trope. Assuming all attractive Latin women are this trope is stereotyping.
* TemptingFate: "If they show me falling during (the roller skating) runway, I'm gonna be furious..."
* TookALevelInKindness: The episode 4 Untucked shows Naysha leaving an outfit and an encouraging message for Chi Chi, because of Chi Chi's lack of budget. She still threw some accidental shade, however, claiming Chi Chi could wear it for a "best drag" look.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: First queen to be eliminated this season, [[SubvertedTrope subverted]] in that she's brought back in the third episode... And promptly eliminated ''again'' in the fourth.

!Acid Betty [-(8th)-]
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/acidbetty.jpg]]

->'''Age''': 37
->'''From''': Brooklyn, New York

->"No need to adjust your TV sets, this acid trip is ''all real!''"
----
* AllTheOtherReindeer: Acid feels the reason she never does anything in Brooklyn is because nobody likes her and don't consider her "real" drag. She says the most Brooklyn queens ignore her because she is just "a look queen".
* AmbiguousGender: Is very much a "genderfuck queen", and has said even now she's not sure what she does is really 'drag' since she doesn't really try to look like a woman.
* AwesomeButImpractical: The outfit she wore during her final episode when based on ''{{Music/Madonna}}'s'' "Bedtime Story" music video, specifically the iconic look of her in a white negligee while pregnant and giving birth to doves. While breathtaking on the runway, it was all but impossible to dance during her lip-synch with a balloon belly with doves on metal poles sticking out of her midsection, leading to her elimination.
* BackFromTheDead: This was touched on during the show, Acid saying people legitimately thought she was dead before appearing on the show. Thing is this is actually half true, prior to ''Drag Race'' Ben had "killed off" the Acid Betty character to focus on his graphic design career, before deciding to give drag another try and audition for the show.
* BadImpressionists: Her Nancy Grace impression in the Snatch Game ended up being a failure. With the jokes not landing combined with an awkward delivery, it put her in the bottom two where she was eliminated by Naomi.
* BigApplesauce: One of three bombastic queens from New York City, along with Bob the Drag Queen and Thorgy Thor.
* CantTakeCriticism: Does not like critique, or being "disrespected" as Bob puts it (Bob even jokes that one day Betty will take a shotgun to a club over people talking shit about her). Michelle Visage in particular seems to be really getting under Betty's skin, since every week Michelle challenges Betty to give them something unexpected while still raising the high bar she's set for herself.
* CostumePorn: Her biggest strength were her consistently wild and avant-garde runway looks.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: Acid Betty placed in the top during the first three weeks, with her confrontational attitude and undeniable skill combining to set her up as the season's premier villain. Then on week 5, she was given a huge upset by Naomi Smalls in a lip-sync and was eliminated, completely altering the season's trajectory and establishing Naomi Smalls as a queen to watch.
* FlatCharacter: Her Snatch Game impression of Nancy Grace was critiqued for being lifeless and having only one-note jokes about "reefer smokers" affecting children. This ended up putting Betty in the bottom where she was eliminated.
* FormerlyFat: As she reveals to Kim Chi, she also used to be a weird, chubby kid.
* FreudianExcuse: Betty admits that she thinks she's such a bitch is because of two things: the first being that queens in Brooklyn don't accept her style of drag and the second being her mother passing away.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Basically described as such by fellow New York queen, Thorgy, saying that despite her being so edgy and artistic, that her bad attitude causes no one in New York to want to work with her. This is her role on the show as well, after her elimination although the queens say they respect her talent and style, they all unanimously agree Betty had a shitty attitude and they were all happier with her gone.
* GracefulLoser: Surprisingly, Betty's farewell speech is about how grateful she is for the experience and is proud to have come as far as she did.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Is only ever worried about herself and hates not being allowed to do her own thing, as Chi Chi found out the hard way in the second episode when Betty demanded they do the team challenge her way.
* JerkassHasAPoint: She's usually not wrong when she demands things to be done her way and refuses to budge on her opinions ... it's just that she's openly and unapologetically an asshole about it.
* JerkJustifications: According to Thorgy, because Acid Betty is so avant-garde and edgy, she gets away with being an asshole to everyone.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: For all her bitchiness, she's very supportive of Chi Chi after the latter's team fails the 80's challenge. And when Chi Chi gets an emotional video message from her mother, Betty helps her compose herself for the Lip Sync. Cynthia also revealed in the finale that after the show finished filming, Betty was always at her side while she was getting cancer treatment.
* KubrickStare: Uses one as her DeathGlare when she doesn't get her way, as shown when she shoots down team leader Chi Chi in the lip sync/choreography challenge.
* NoSocialSkills: Thorgy theorizes that Betty just doesn't know ''how'' to talk to other people, so due to her being so headstrong she always come off badly when working with others.
* SecondPlaceIsForLosers: Most queens are happy to place safe on the first couple episodes, when the odds are against you. Betty placed in the top for the first three - and still complained bitterly about missing the win.
* ThisIsACompetition: Her other justification for being such an asshole.
* TookALevelInKindness: After Chi Chi receives a touching message from her mother during Untucked and it brought her to tears, Betty drops the [[HiddenHeartOfGold facade]] and honestly tries to help her get a grip and fix her hair. The moment Chi Chi regains her composure, though, Acid Betty tells her to get lost.
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: Her runways are always over-the-top and avant-garde ... but because of this, the judges have started to say its actually become predictable, since they've come to naturally expect that from her.
* WhatTheHellHero: When Kim Chi gets a touching video message from her dear friend, Season 7 contestant Trixie Mattel, Betty spends the entire time reading Trixie on her make-up, calling her ugly and disgusting. Finally Derrick of all people calls her out, saying Trixie's makeup is her personal style, and no matter what she is one of their ''Drag Race'' sisters and deserves respect, with even Bob stepping in to agree with Derrick. Betty just shrugs them all off.

!Robbie Turner [-(7th)-]
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/robbieturner.jpg]]

->'''Age''': 33
->'''From''': Seattle, Washington

-> "Too real!"
----
* ChekhovsSkill: Right before the Rollergirl Realness runway she reveals she's actually a superb skater. When she ends up in the bottom two and up for elimination against Cynthia Lee Fontaine, Ru allows them the choice of heels or wheels for the performance. Cynthia chooses to change into high heels. Robbie sticks with the roller skates and deftly skates circles around Cynthia, stealing the show and sealing the deal by taking a leap ''off'' of the runway (onto safety pads put in place for the episode) at the end of the song.
* DeadpanSnarker: Seems to make little effort to hide her irritation about the other queens idiosyncrasies, especially in the ConfessionCam.
* GenderBlenderName: Robbie Turner was the main male character of ''Literature/{{Atonement}}''
* {{Hypocrite}}: Possibly a victim of reality show editing, but immediately after introducing herself as "the nicest queen you'll ever meet", reads the New York queens for being loud and extra, Laila for not wearing heels, and Chi Chi for making a dress out of a trash bag.
* IdenticalStranger: Although they actually know each other very well, to Jinkx Monsoon. Both are campy Seattle queens who have an affinity for old Hollywood glamour with a dash of funny thrown in. During the first episode photoshoot Robbie even walks out in basically the same wig as Jinkx, causing both Sharon and Jinkx to take pause.
* InSeriesNickname: "Robbie Turnt-her" by Ru.
* NamedAfterSomebodyFamous: Took her name from one of the main characters of ''Literature/{{Atonement}}''.
* NeverMyFault: Prone to give out excuses on the runway whenever she placed low. It got to a point where even Ru got tired of it.
-->'''Ru''': We could hear you perfectly, we just weren't impressed with what was said.
* NoJustNoReaction: Her response to Laila's platform flat sneakers:
-->'''Robbie''': I'm gonna tell you a story about flats. ({{Beat}}) No.
* OhCrap: When she was randomly chosen to pair up the queens and the classic outfit challenges, she ''completely'' forgot to pick one for herself until she got to the very end and Ru said "So it looks like you'll be taking the Dog Park challenge?" and Robbie realized her mistake.
* RealityShowGenreBlindness: It's a well-known fact that one of Ru's biggest pet peeves in a lip sync is when a queen rips off her wig in a cheap ploy to add drama to her performance. Robbie does exactly this and gets eliminated. Even though [[HairstyleMalfunction the wig may have been falling off anyway]], it would have looked better in Ru's eyes if Robbie had just let it fall off on its own without missing a beat.
* RollerbladeGood: Her flawless lip sync against Cynthia while on roller skates.
* ToothyIssue: They're all over the place. [[http://media.gettyimages.com/photos/drag-queen-robbie-turner-attends-the-premiere-of-logos-rupauls-drag-picture-id513333306 Observe]].
* ToughActToFollow:
** In-universe. She sees her Seattle buddies Jinkx Monsoon and [=BenDeLaCreme=] this way, since they were both successful fan-favorites during their seasons and they share Robbie's Old Hollywood aesthetic. While Robbie did win the 80's New Wave challenge, she often feels the pressure to measure up to her predecessors.
** Also for her Cowardly Lion couture for the ''Wizard of Oz'' make-over runway, her outfit gets directly compared to Kim Chi's "Hair Extravaganza" outfit from the first episode (also based on a lion), and how Kim Chi's version was better in every way to Robbie's.

!Thorgy Thor [-(6th)-]
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/thorgythor.jpg]]

->'''Age''': 31
->'''From''': Brooklyn, New York

-> "Woo!"
----
* AlwaysSecondBest: Especially when it comes to fellow New York queen Bob, who she feels does everything she does but is just louder and more in-your-face about it. Bob the Drag Queen has taken two challenges that Thorgy just barely missed the wins for.
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny:
** While writing song lyrics, Thorgy would immediately get off topic whenever one of the other queens talked to her, much to the annoyance of her teammates.
** This is actually becomes her downfall as she is told multiple times that she has to edit down her ideas. She is sent home because she has too many ideas and can't seem to stick to one.
* BadLuckCharm: Claims that her accessories are these, after noticing Laila got eliminated after she let her borrow her bangles, and Robbie was in the bottom two after she let her borrow her gold necklace. Her conclusion to all this? That she needs to start letting ''all'' the girls borrow her things!
* BeehiveHairdo: Out of drag, she has a head full of dreadlocks that reach down to her ass, always bundled up in a beehive. Also, as a result of this while in drag all of her wigs have a similar aesthetic, looking piled high since its hiding her mounds of dreads. During the Madonna runway critiques, Michelle Visage says "I wish you hadn't worn the Bump-It" and is surprised to learn it's not artificial. Averted in the acapella challenge, where her character was ghetto and the braids played into the look.
* BigApplesauce: One of three bombastic queens from New York City, along with Acid Betty and Bob the Drag Queen.
* BreakTheHaughty: The edit of her final episode certainly comes across this way, Thorgy talking very badly about her competitors and how easy its going to be to out lip-synch them.
* CallingTheOldManOut: While partying in college her family decided not to tell her about her mother's deteriorating health from cancer, not wanting to take her away from the college experience. As a result Thorgy never got a real chance to say goodbye to her mother, being resentful towards her father and sister even now for keeping that from her.
* CatchPhrase: "Woo!"
* {{Determinator}}: Just like Alaska and Mrs. Kasha Davis before her, she auditioned for every season of the show.
* DressesTheSame: Like Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls, and Derrick Berry, she chooses to wear a Japanese kimono for the ''{{Music/Madonna}}'' runway. According to comments she made online, she had a backup outfit to wear when she saw the other girls were doing kimonos, but the producers didn't let her change. It's presumably what cost her the episode win despite a superb Snatch Game performance.
* FriendlyRivalry: Seems to have developed between her and Bob, although things are getting less friendly as the competition gets more stressful.
* GenkiGirl: Described by Raja as a "fire ball".
* HairyGirl: This is part of her genderfuck drag aesthetic; she likes having hairy legs and refuses to shave them.
* HiddenDepths: Is a classically trained violist, violinist, and cellist and has even played in Carnegie Hall. She has also performed and conducted her own show with the Vancouver Symphony, "Thorgy and the Thorchestra". Her goal is to make classical music cool again.
* {{Irony}}: States in the beginning of episode 7 that Derrick and Chi Chi are both then next queens to sashay however Thorgy is the queen to be eliminated. Not only that but Derrick wins the challenge (alongside Bob) and Chi Chi is the queen to send her home.
* MissingMom: In a serious moment Thorgy recalls how her mother died from cancer while she was away at college, and how since her mom was already so gone the last time she got to see her [[TearJerker she never really had a chance to say goodbye]].
* MrExposition: The editing makes her out to be this for Acid Betty, explaining Betty's faults such as her history in Brooklyn, bad attitude, and her unwillingness to work with others.
* RecursiveCrossdressing: Decides to play Music/MichaelJackson in the Snatch Game and nails his voice and mannerisms, as well as being generally funny.
* SecondPlaceIsForLosers: Calls herself the 'Susan Lucci' of this season, since she so often hits the top three only to be edged out by another queen.
* SoreLoser: After her elimination she throws Ru some shade in her decision to eliminate her, and calling the queens who left her goodbye notes some nasty names. Bob even says outright Thorgy has always been this way back in New York.
* ThisIsACompetition: After Dax complains that no one told her that her butt padding looked off, Thorgy argues that not did she give her a sly read on it, but that she wasn't obligated to help her at all. That this is a competition and everyone wants their competitors to go home.
* TookALevelInJerkass: In her final episode she is very critical of both Derrick and Chi Chi, saying they are both not up to the task of the show and should be sent home. This only gets worse in Untucked, where after knowing she's in the bottom three starts verbally attacking the others, talking them down and telling them how easy it will be to send them home if its her lip-synching against them. After her elimination she caps off this jerkassery by leaving Chi Chi a roll of half-used pink duct-tape, and leaving a shady note about how Chi Chi can use it for 'jewelery' for the rest of the season.
* UncannyValleyMakeUp: Has been read for the ''very'' dark make-up she uses around her eyes, so much so that Michelle Visage has said Thorgy's [[EyelessFace actual eyes seem to disappear]] as a result.
-->'''Ru[==]Paul:''' Thorgy is in an abusive relationship with her makeup.
* UnknownRival: Is this with Bob the Drag Queen, since they are both comedy-focused New York City queens. The only reason Bob isn't outright Thorgy's [[TheRival rival]] is Bob always seems to be more focused on enjoying the competition than get into an long-standing argument with anyone.
* YankTheDogsChain: In episode 5 Ru makes it seem as though Thorgy is going to win a challenge only to give the win to Bob.

!Derrick Barry [-(5th)-]
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/derrick.jpg]]

->'''Age''': 32
->'''From''': Las Vegas, Nevada

-> "It's Derrick, bitch!"
----
* AllGaysArePromiscuous: [[AvertedTrope Averted]] and [[DiscussedTrope Discussed]] when questioned about her three-way marriage, saying that she always has to explain that she's ''not'' in an open relationship, she is in a closed and devoted marriage with two other men.
* BrokenBird: When she came out to her mother, her mom immediately asked if they could just keep it a secret and pretend it's not a thing. Derrick says the incident caused her to lose a lot of respect for her mother, and caused her to become 'broken' in a way that she still hasn't fully recovered from.
* BroughtDownToNormal / SuddenHumility: Despite being one of the most commercially successful queens prior to appearing on the show, her ''Drag Race'' debut proved to be a real learning-curve for Derrick who, despite starting out as fairly stubborn and stuck in her "Britney box", proved that she was willing to take a punt and try a new look (albeit not particularly successfully) by the time of her eviction in episode 8. She leaves the show with respectful endorsement from her fellow queens for taking a risk.
* CantCatchUp: Is less a drag queen than she is a celebrity impersonator, so when the judges continuously demand her to show them more than just Britney Spears she struggles. This culminated in her final episode where when she tries to do real drag make-up instead of her normal beauty make-up she is unable to properly contour or paint on her eyebrows. The judges agree they can all see she's trying really hard, but just isn't up to par with the other girls.
* CantTakeCriticism: Doesn't take critique well, her coping mechanism being to start pointing out the faults in others to elevate herself.
* CelebrityImpersonator: Is a well-known Music/BritneySpears-impersonator on the Las Vegas strip. She was brought up in Season 6, though not by name, during Trinity and Bianca's discussion of Vegas illusionists. In the first episode, Derrick does well in the mini- and main challenges where she invokes her Britney look, but is unexpectedly told by Michelle that she wants to see more from Derrick than just that. By the end of the show, she admits outright that she's not really a 'drag queen', but a 'female illusionist' (she wants to look specifically like Britney Spears who she already sort of resembles, and has no interest in the over-the-top aesthetic most drag queens go for when impersonating a woman).
* ComicallyMissingThePoint:
** It starts borderlining as a RunningGag in that she just doesn't get that the judges want to see more than pop princess/Britney Spears impersonator, with every episode seeming to start with her just not getting the hint with the other queens rolling their eyes at her.
** The other queens use Kim Chi and Acid Betty as examples of drag queens with their own distinct looks; in both cases, Derrick replies that that's not the kind of drag she does, completely missing the point that she isn't being asked to look like them, but to look like ''Derrick''.
* CripplingOverspecialization: Very conscious of this since, as a celebrity impersonator, she can't just do Britney to get ahead in the competition. How successful she is at this is up for debate - her first runway look is a seasonal version of Britney, she can't stop herself from quoting Britney songs, and during the roller skating runway challenge, she's read for channeling [[Music/KatyPerry another pop princess]] for her look. He refers to it as his "Britney Box"
* DressesTheSame: A common critique on her runway look is that she would simply put on a bathing suit and wrap some fabric around it as a skirt. She is also one of four queens who chose a kimono look for the ''{{Music/Madonna}}'' runway.
* DudeNotFunny: Her reaction to Naomi's reads during the puppet mini-challenge, namely the dig she took at her three-way relationship with her two boyfriends, which is a very personal and sensitive subject for her. This led to a rather heated workroom confrontation between the two of them during preparation for the Book Ball.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Derrick actually appears in the audience of the season 5 reunion when Ru mentions polyamory as being a solution for Ivy, her boyfriend and Jinkx. whether or not this is intentional is up to speculation though.
* FlatCharacter: Her biggest critique, especially from Michelle Visage, is that she's been impersonating Britney Spears for so long that that's all she can do, and there really is no substance to Derrick, herself, as a drag queen.
* GenderBlenderName: Uses her real name as her drag name.
* HardWorkHardlyWorks: Despite not really being crafty and not having the best style choices when it comes to designer her own outfits, she argues that she puts in long hours on whatever she creates. She venomously argued the point she hemmed her tin woodsman/Oz outfit, despite it just being a swimsuit with a piece of fabric sewn around it. And for the book ball she claimed to have stayed up all night working on her runway outfit, picking out the right colors and making a collage of inspiring blurbs, but in the end, as Kim Chi puts it, it was still just a corset with some newspaper pieces glued on.
* HisOwnWorstEnemy: Her refusal to evolve her make-up skills or her aesthetic until the very last minute when the judges pretty much forced her to do so. She had the entire season to try and learn drag techniques like painting contours or how to glue her eyebrows, but she refused to grow or ask for help until the she was in the top five, at which point her 'beginner drag' make-up just wasn't up to par with the other girls at all.
* InelegantBlubbering: Has hit the bottom three several times, only to just squeak by as "safe" and start crying. When she finally hits the bottom two and has to lip-synch, she falls into blubbering on-stage afterwards, while apologizing for allowing herself to become trapped in the '[[CripplingOverspecialization Britney Box]]'.
* InnocentlyInsensitive:
** Well she ''claims'' this is the case, that she never purposely reads or intends on insulting anyone. Bob calls her outright for BlatantLies and challenges her that she'll say something shady not 5 minutes later ... which she does (under the justification that Bob asked for it that time).
** A more on the nose example is Derrick's 'casual racism', in which she makes comments about the judges asking her to show them 'soul' to meaning she needs to start acting black and twerking, and of course she jumps on Bob being 'ratchet' pretty often. However, she never seems purposely racist, just clueless.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: When Acid Betty makes more than one rude comment about Trixie in her video message to Kim, it's Derrick who calls Acid Betty out on her behavior.
* NaiveNewcomer: To what is generally considered 'drag'. In Las Vegas she's only a Britney Spears impersonator, she's never had to do things like contour her face or glue and paint her eyebrows. The judges can see she's working just as hard if not harder than the other girls, but her inexperience in even basic drag means she can't keep up with her competitors. Naomi even calls her out that episode 8 is ''not'' the place to be gluing down your eyebrows for the first time.
* NeverMyFault: She is the last person to ever admit that her look isn't the best, which ultimately prevents her from evolving her drag until it's too late. It's really driven home in the Book Ball challenge; whereas Bob readily admits to fucking up and deserving to be in the bottom for missing the mark, Derrick kept insisting that her look wasn't the worst.
* OddFriendship: With Bob the Drag Queen, the two butted heads often and were almost TheRival to one another, but when they were teamed up they worked together wonderfully, getting a joint win for their mud-slinging campaign ads. This reaches a point when they both land in the bottom during the Book Ball, and Bob mentioned that Derrick should be commended for actually working hard throughout the competition and putting in a lot of effort to grow out of his usual mould.
* PhraseCatcher: Ru loves dropping Britney references whenever talking to Derrick on the main stage.
* {{Polyamory}}: She is happily and openly in a "trinogamous" relationship with two other partners, one of whom is actually the gay military vet "Nebraska" from season 5.
* ToughActToFollow[[invoked]]: It was brought up a couple times that Derrick as a celebrity impersonator wasn't living up to the high standards set by Season 4's Chad Michaels (a professional Cher impersonator). Derrick would get defensive that Chad started as a drag queen, whereas Derrick specifically started and specializes primarily in Britney Spears impersonation.

!Chi Chi [=DeVayne=] [-(4th)-]
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chichi.jpg]]

->'''Age''': 30
->'''From''': Shreveport, Louisiana

->"I love being a Southern queen. Who doesn't love a little smoked turkey neck, baby?"
----
* AnachronisticClue: Due to how she phrased the answer, Chi Chi sounds like she had a drag mother before she was a drag queen. While not taken seriously, there are a few MTQ subreddits that make Franchise/BackToTheFuture and Literature/SlaughterhouseFive references about her.
* AbusiveParents: Well, sort of ... Chi Chi was a thug as a teenager and when her father discovered she owned a gun he 'beat the shit out of her', but she seems to agree she deserved it at the time.
* ArmouredClosetGay: Used to be, Chi Chi says this was the reason why she was a gangbanger as a teenager, to hide her homosexuality (even from herself).
* BeYourself: Spent most of the season trying to distance herself from appearing too Southern or ghetto, since she was ashamed of growing up in Shreveport. However, by the end of her tenure she came to realize that she should be who she is and not try to be someone else, because that was why Ru invited her to the show and what people love about her.
* BilingualBonus: Speaks Cajun French
* BookDumb: It's ''possible'' she was joking, but when she wins the a capella challenge and gets a trip to a bed and breakfast in New England, she asks if that means she'll be traveling overseas (presumably thinking New England was part of the UK).
* BusCrash: Passed away in August 2020 as a result of complications arising after being diagnosed with the autoimmune disease scleroderma in 2018.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Says that where she grew up people didn't make it out, and that she used to be a gangbanger. It was making her mother cry that finally inspired her to climb out of the thug life.
* DeadGuyJunior: Took the last name "[=DeVayne=]" after her drag mother passed away.
* [[GratuitousFrench Gratuitous Cajun]]: She struts into the workroom saying ''"Laissez les bon temps roulez,"'' which confuses the other queens, but anyone familiar with Louisiana culture knows that it's Cajun French for "Let the good times roll," a popular slogan for the Bayou State.
* ExtremeOmnivore: She attributes this to her Southern roots, she'll eat anything ... possum, rat, raccoon, ''dog biscuits''.
* LadyLooksLikeADude: Doesn't cinch, doesn't wear fake breasts, and doesn't know how to paint cleavage. This combined with her natural more muscular build has been read by the judges for not giving them enough femininity in her runways.
* NeverMyFault: Whenever she's read for having an unpolished or mediocre outfit, she says it's because she doesn't have the money for anything fancy. But anyone who's "economically challenged" can tell you that it is very much possible to look stylish on a budget, so it comes across like Chi Chi is making excuses, especially in light of the fierce looks she did put together despite her circumstances.
* NWordPrivileges: [[AvertedTrope Averted]], actually. When Robbie Turner bombs the Snatch Game, Chi Chi is about to say that Jinx and [=DeLa=] are going to hang her for besmirching the good Seattle Drag name, when she realizes as a black man from the south that it would have been in ''very'' poor taste.
* NoBudget[[invoked]]: Her drag is very much done on a discount, saying she doesn't have the money to buy the expensive lace-fronts and $1000 dresses the other girls have. She even says when it comes to make-up, her two favorite kinds are the ones that cost a dollar or are free! When she made her appearance in the work room, she even calls herself the season's "Cheap Queen" and her dress was literally made of black garbage bags. She later reveals this aesthetic isn't by choice though, as she's recently had to file for bankruptcy.
* MrFanservice: Due to her good looks out of drag, Chi Chi has quickly become this for season 8 fans.
* OddFriendship: She and Kim Chi bond over being hungry and talking about food during Untucked.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Is quite up front in saying she's only in the competition for the $100,000 prize. However, this is because Chi Chi is in massive loan debt and is filing for bankruptcy, and she even laments the fact she wishes she could be there to better herself and have fun like the other girls.
* OvershadowedByAwesome: "Basic" is a word she hears often on the runway, since she doesn't have the money to compete with the other girls when it comes to their elaborate outfits.
* RaginCajun: She's the second Louisiana queen after Bianca del Rio to appear on the show. But whereas Bianca was born in suburban New Orleans to immigrant parents and lacks any distinctly Southern mannerisms, Chi Chi is from Shreveport and is quite proud of her Cajun heritage.
* RagsToRiches: While she didn't win the $100,000, becoming a fan favorite on the show did let her quit her two jobs and become a drag queen full time.
* RummageSaleReject: Literally, she is a thrifty and crafty queen, Derrick even makes a shady comment about about everything Chi Chi owns comes homemade from a craft store.
* RunningGag: Her love of eating turkey necks.
* SignatureMove: Chi Chi doing a back flip and dropping into a split, she was already famous for these moves outside of the show and she brings them in to save herself when she has to lip-synch for her life against Naysha.
* SoOkayItsAverage[[invoked]]: Her drag style is done on a budget, and even when she makes her own clothes using the fabric provided to all of the queens the end result is usually referred to as "Basic" and "Safe". She's been told several times she needs to step up her style and stop giving the judges 'average'.
* SouthernBelle: Describes herself as ''very'' Southern drag and has the accent to match.
* StraightGay: Definitely the manliest queen of the season when out of drag. Even ''in'' drag, there's no hiding her muscular tattooed arms.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: Even if it was mostly make-up, her "That's my momma realness" look was [[https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://previously.tv/m/2016-04-25-rupauls-drag-race07.jpg&imgrefurl=http://previously.tv/rupauls-drag-race/rupauls-drag-race-gives-us-puppets-sedarises-and-a-surprising-bottom-two/&h=459&w=950&tbnid=UVALjlbh8Vr8ZM&tbnh=156&tbnw=323&usg=__ezYEHV4mVISOOh2a-xTavK6ANVM=&hl=en&docid=C3gSy1kCUqUTFM eerily identical]].

!Naomi Smalls [-(runner-up)-]
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/naomismalls.jpg]]

->'''Age''': 21
->'''From''': Redlands, California

->"Check your lipstick before you come for me."
----
* BookDumb: Didn't know who Greta Garbo was. When Bob quips that she was one of the Spice Girls, Naomi seemed to actually believe she was.
* BrutalHonesty: During the Book Ball Challenge, she gets so frustrated with Derrick not understanding why the judges are critiquing her makeup that she ends up resorting to this. She stresses in the cutaway that this isn't out of spite or to be shady, it's to help Derrick.
* DressesTheSame: Wears a lingerie kimono for the ''{{Music/Madonna}}'' runway, one of four queens to do so, and as the last to walk the the runway she got the evil eye from Michelle Visage for it.
* HappilyAdopted: Comes from a large adopted family, and her parents are supportive of her being gay and a drag queen.
* LegFocus: As she puts it, her legs go all the way up to her asshole!
* MuscleAngst:
** Despite being [[StatuesqueStunner statuesque]] she's far from being an AmazonianBeauty, in her first runway having to carry the parade boat from the Season 4 'Float Your Boat' challenge she was visibly struggling to just hold herself up and not topple over. The boat probably weighed as much as she does.
** Comes back to haunt her again while filming the video for "The Realness", where her lack of core muscles prevent her from keeping herself elevated and serving the right pose.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: When she gets into a reading match with Derrick with both taking low blows at one another, she calls herself out on her bad behavior and that her mother would be disappointed to see her acting like such a bratty diva. She spends the rest of the episode trying to be there for Derrick as best as she can be.
* NamedAfterSomebodyFamous: Her drag name is taken after Creator/NaomiCampbell and Music/TheNotoriousBIG, aka Biggie Smalls. Her quote at the top of the page even comes from [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktjugprKK3s the former.]]
* NiceGirl: Is generally on good terms with everyone on the cast and seems to have developed a close friendship with Bob and Kim after the show finished filming. When she finally does get into confrontation with another queen (Derrick) she later apologizes and tries to help Derrick block out her eyebrows.
* PetitePride: Although Michelle Visage tries to get her to pad and use more breast illusion, Naomi says she's proud of her body and enjoys showing it off without making it look curvier.
* StatuesqueStunner: Even if her claim of being seven feet tall is rather generously rounding up (she's about 6'6), she's still one of the tallest queens in the history of the show. And like Violet Chachki before her, she's rail thin and goes for the waifish model aesthetic, to the joking envy of the other queens (at one point Bob tells her that her hoop earrings are bigger than her waist).
* {{Squee}}: Her reaction to finding out that supermodels Gigi Hadid and Chanel Iman were going to be the guest judges on Snatch Game.
* {{Stripperific}}: Almost all of her runway looks have been some form of skimpy lingerie (very skimpy evening gown, bra and panties on roller-skates, lingerie and Madonna-inspired kimono, etc). While she argues this is far from the only look she can serve, she is very proud of her body and likes to show it off.
* TheTwink: Out of drag, especially with her being the youngest queen of the season.
* TheWhitestBlackGuy: Since she was adopted by white parents, she admits that she doesn't have a normal relationship to her race, despite what her name might suggest. As a result, she's been called an [[OutsideInsideSlur Oreo]] more than once. This actually becomes a source of Derrick's digs towards her during the puppet mini-challenge and the heated workroom argument.

!Kim Chi [-(runner-up)-]

->'''From''': Chicago, Illinois

-> "I'm here to chop suey the competition!"
----

* AsianAndNerdy: A Korean queen who specializes in over-the-top anime chic.
* BigBeautifulWoman: By default, Kim Chi isn't actually that large, but she ''is'' the biggest queen this season. A running gag that has been mentioned a few times in and off the show is apparently Kim acting surprised and saying 'Wow, there's no big girls this season!' with the listener (Chi Chi during the show, Trixie Mattel afterwards) answering ' ... really, queen?'
* BigEater: Seems to be easily distracted by food, Laila claims you cannot stop Kim from eating food once she sees it.
* CatchPhrase: "Keol eo bwa!" ("Sissy that walk" in Korean)
* CloudCuckooLander: Her sense of humor is very unusual and a little bit twisted, as seen from her Snatch Game choice. This ends up working against her in Shady Politics when her food-based smear campaign against Naomi fails to impress the judges.
* CuteClumsyGirl: Apparently she falls down quite often, so far this has only been shown in Untucked but occasionally you can see her stumble on the main stage.
* DressesTheSame: Wears a vintage wedding kimono for the ''{{Music/Madonna}}'' runway, one of four queens to wear a Kimono.
* EndearinglyDorky: A [[ImNotPretty self-conscious]] NiceGuy [[AsianAndNerdy anime nerd]], her adorkability has even been cited by the other queens as one of the things the judges love most about her.
* TheFashionista: Her outfits combine anime influences with high fashion runway looks like Givenchy and John Galliano.
* FormerlyFat: Used to weight 350 pounds, and says even though she's dropped quite a lot of the weight, she still is very insecure and comments how the 'fat kid' is still inside of her.
* FunnyForeigner: A lot of her charm and humor comes from her embracing her Asian roots.
* AHeroToHisHometown: By being one of if not the first Korean drag queen to appear on national television, she hopes to become this to her parent's home country of South Korea, noting that there right now drag is only seen as a fetish, and a very underground one at that.
* ICantDance: Her dancing ability has been described as someone with two left feet and vertigo.
* ImNotPretty: Due to growing up as the fat kid and having a heavy lisp and accent, she has a very low self-esteem. The other queens even say they can't believe Kim can't see what a handsome man she is out of drag.
* IncrediblyLamePun:
-->'''Kim''': *holds up a doughnut* Doughnut come for me because I will destroy you ... ({{Beat}}) ... get it? [[DontExplainTheJoke 'Doughnut' come for me?]]
* NiceGuy: Possibly linked to her own low self-esteem, she's had hardly a negative thing to say about her competitors. Case in point, she's the first queen shown using the "Shade Tree"[[note]]A special ConfessionCam specifically for queens to bitch and throw shade towards their competition[[/note]] and all she does is talk about how helpful and nice her teammates were being and how fearful she is about her shortcomings. However, as the show moves forward she isn't nearly as demure, and the other queens note Kim Chi can be fairly bitchy when she wants to be.
* NoSocialSkills: Due to her upbringing as an overweight, gay foreigner she didn't make many friends and didn't learn the basic social cues in school, leading to her being self-conscious and awkward as an adult.
* NWordPrivileges: Her Supreme Court realness character was an over-the-top Asian stereotype from the law firm of [[RefugeInAudacity Ching, Chang & Chong]], not to mention her gender-swapped portrayal of North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un. Lampshaded by Ru, particularly in light of his own controversial statements around that time:
-->'''Ru[==]Paul:''' (laughing) I did not write these; do not send me no letters.
* OddFriendship: She and Chi Chi bond over them both being hungry and talking about food during Untucked.
* PhraseCatcher: "Kim Chi that walk!"
* PunnyName: She named herself after Korean pickled cabbage.
* RefugeInAudacity: [[InvokedTrope Invoked]] in her Snatch Game pick of Kim Jong-un's sister (which is basically Kim Jong-un in unconvincing drag), which she chose specifically to show the world a more "fucked-up side of Kim Chi". To drive the point home, her drag name when she first started drag is [[Franchise/DisneyPrincess Jizney Princess]].
* RunningGag: Her inability to walk in high heels, the fact she can't dance, her love of food, and her penchant for tripping and falling over have all been brought up multiple times.
* RuleSixtyThree: Her Snatch Game choice was Kimmy Jong-un, a gender-swapped version of the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.
* SillyWalk: Her runway walk, with her lumbering down the stage like a Sasquatch.
* StatuesqueStunner: At 6'4 she's one of the largest queens in the competition this season.
* ToothyIssue: Is missing a couple teeth so she has a very pronounced lisp.
* UncannyValleyMakeUp: In addition to gorgeous beauty make-up, Kim Chi is also adept at this make-up style as well, as she displays during her Neon Runway when she paints a giant anime eye over her normal eye, with the other side of her face completely painted black to simulate shadow.
* TheUnintelligible: Due to her very pronounced lisp and accent, it can be very hard to understand what she says, which becomes especially apparent in acting challenges where Kim Chi struggles to enunciate. This is also quite a sore spot for her, when she gets critiqued on stage for her speech she starts to cry, having struggled with this problem for most of her life.
* WellDoneSonGuy: As far as her mother knows she's just a make-up artist, because she's afraid her mother will stop talking to her if she found out she's a drag queen. Chi even says how she feels bad that she was never able to give her mother the perfect son all Asian mothers want.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: As Bob states Kim Chi is a "good looking six foot tall man" and that she doesn't seem to be aware of what she is like.

* BerserkButton: The sound of a disgusted sigh, which unfortunately seemed to double as Thorgy Thor's CatchPhrase when they worked together.
* BigApplesauce: One of three bombastic queens from New York City, along with Acid Betty and Thorgy Thor.
* BorrowedCatchphrase:
** "Why y'all gagging? I bring it to you every episode" is a reference to Paris Is Burning the original being "Why y'all gaggin? She bring it to you every ball".
** Also "It is a known fact that woman do carry a purse!" which spawned her iconic Purse meme is also a reference to Paris is Burning, with the original line being "It is a known fact that woman do carry an evening bag at dinnertime". It even became a lyric in her single "Purse First".
* CatchPhrase: "Walk into the club purse first!" [[https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/purse-first-feat.-dj-mitch/id1111134541 Now available on iTunes!]]
* ChewingTheScenery: Bob is not one for a demure performance, whether in the challenges, workroom, or ConfessionCam. Between her portrayals of Uzo Aduba and Carol Channing, the Snatch Game had her teeth marks all over it!
* CountryMatters: Her entrance outfit featured the letters "U.N.T." on them. Her arm was bent in such a way that it resembled the letter "C". No guesses as to what that spelled out.
* FailureGambit: Her approach to the rollerskating runway. Since she can't skate, she dressed as a robot so that her stiff movements would play into the character...and it worked! This clever tactic, plus her showstealing performance in the ''Series/{{Empire}}''-based main challenge, gave Bob her first win in the season.
* FashionHurts: Claims this is the reason she normally does "ratchet drag", she's not a model or a 'look queen' but an entertainer on her feet for two hours at a time during a show. She says if she were to wear a heavy gown, huge hair, and giant lashes it would hurt her performance, and by the end of it all her fashion would have drooped or fallen off anyway.
* FunWithAcronyms: "Bob" stands for "Big Old Bottom".
* GenderBlenderName: Although it's not her real name. See FunWithAcronyms above for what it stands for.
* GenkiGirl: When she comments that the show's turned her into a morning person, Robbie counters that Bob's always so loud and energetic that she's more of an ''all-day person!'' Bob justifies this that she's on her favorite TV show of all time, so of course she's only to be excited.
* ICallItVera: She has named her gaudy curtain clutch "Purse-Purse Imfurst".
* {{Improv}}: She's been shown to be a master at ad libbing when it comes to acting challenges.
* IconicItem: Purse Purse Imfurst! See ICallItVera and SignatureMove.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Although she is aware that she can get under her opponent's skin, she does say she is not intentionally trying to grate on their nerves, she's just very excited about how well she is doing on the show and feels there's no need to hide her enthusiasm when she succeeds.
* {{Irony}}: After Michelle Visage says she wants to see Derrick's "soul" and Derrick says maybe she should start imitating her co-competitors, Bob gets frustrated trying to explain that Michelle doesn't mean Derrick has to act like Bob or Acid Betty; she just needs to show something about herself, something that's uniquely ''Derrick'' and not Britney Spears or another pop star. Later in the same episode, Lucian Piane asks Bob to express her own musical voice, and suggests Music/TheB52s or Music/{{Lorde}} as examples of performers who have their own distinctive styles. Bob misses the point and says she thinks the B-52s are cheesy and she haaaaaates Lorde.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Starts Episode 6 after her second win [[UnsportsmanlikeGloating boasting about it]] and how she's on her way to win her third challenge ... then she stumbles hard for the first time in the competition due to her outfit falling apart and very poor time management skills landing in the bottom four.
* LargeHam: Is a master of ChewingTheScenery, whether in challenges or just in the workroom. Case in point, her first win of the season was for the overacting challenge, which really showed her in her natural element.
* MotorMouth: Bob was never at a loss of words on the show, and would constantly be telling non-stop jokes in the workroom. Some of the other queens would accuse Bob of never shutting up, and telling 100 jokes with maybe 2 of them actually being funny.
* NiceGirl: While she is definitely one of the shadier girls of her season, she is quick to sing the praises of a fellow cast member if they have to work together and the other queen manages to pull through. She would even give out advice during Untucked on how to approach the lip sync songs when other girls would receive a harsh critique and know that they will be lip syncing later.
* OddFriendship: With Derrick Berry, the two did anything but get along for the majority of the season, but when they were teamed up they worked together beautifully, Bob even commenting how much Derrick had come out of her shell and how proud she was of her.
* OnceDoneNeverForgotten: Ever since Michelle Visage referred to her aesthetic as "ratchet" on stage (and not even in a negative way), she's known by her competitors as the "Queen of Ratchet Drag".
* PhraseCatcher: "Bob the Drag Queen. Not to be confused with Bob the (occupation)."
* PluckyComicRelief: Is a stand-up comedian and is always cracking jokes, to the chagrin of some of the other queens when she won't stop spouting one-liners in the workroom.
* PromotedFanboy: [[invoked]] She was actually inspired to do drag from watching the show and won the season which she took part in.
* RaceLift: In addition to [[Series/OrangeIsTheNewBlack Uzo Aduba]], Bob plays a black Carol Channing for the Snatch Game.
* RecordedAndStandUpComedy: Is a stand-up comic queen, so she's very confident about slaying the comedy challenges.
* RunningGag: "Purse First!", the gaudy purse she made from drapery in the first episode has made an appearance in every episode thereafter. Midway through the season she's letting the other queens take turns entering the workroom with it.
* SassyBlackWoman: While in drag she's downright ghetto, flashing gang signs and tossing (fake) cigarettes. Used to hilarious effect in the Empire-themed challenge which earns her a win.
* SignatureMove: Leaning back with her purse arm extended is her trademark pose.
-->'''Bob:''' Lead with the clutch!
* SpotlightStealingSquad: Bob wins the Snatch Game by--in a first for the series--impersonating ''two'' celebrities and completely stealing the show. However, Michelle warns her against showboating.
* TakeAThirdOption: Bob had several ideas for Snatch Game but ultimately it came to a choice between Uzo Aduba or Carol Channing. She ended up doing ''both'' of them.
* VocalDissonance: Makes no attempt to hide her voice when in drag and it only adds to her charm.
