''The Brave And The Bold: The Lost Issues'' is a blog created by an user named Ross in 2010. It features fake covers of the titular "Lost Issues" of ''ComicBook/TheBraveAndTheBold'' series in which ComicBook/{{Batman}} [[TeamUpSeries teams-up]] or fights with characters that never appeared in the series. Many of them aren't even Creator/DCComics properties.

After doing over a hundred of these covers, Ross decided to take a break from Batman and started producing covers of ''ComicBook/MarvelTwoInOne'' lost issues, now with ComicBook/{{the Thing}} as the star. Later he's gone back to doing Batman team-ups and with December 2011 the world has seen first of the ''Super-Team Family'' lost issues, featuring different characters teaming up, starting with ComicBook/SpiderMan and ComicBook/{{the Creeper}}.

!!Tropes:

* AlternateContinuity: Thing and ComicBook/LegionOfSuperHeroes has different versions of Ben teaming up with Legions from all continuities.
* AscendedFanboy: ComicBook/TheTick is apparently one for Batman.
* BadFuture: Batman visits one in his team up with ''WesternAnimation/BatmanBeyond''; Thing does so in team-ups with Terry, [[Franchise/BackToTheFuture Doc Brown]], the Franchise/{{Terminator}} and ComicBook/JudgeDredd.
* BadassNormal: [[https://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2013/10/the-bondsmen.html The Bondsmen]] is a team consisting entirely of some of the greatest of these. Who do they fight? [[https://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2020/08/the-bondsman-in-beast-mode.html Evil Badass Normals, of course.]]
* BodyHorror: For Thing when ComicBook/TheSpectre tried to make him even uglier.
* {{Crossover}}: All the time.
* DemotedToExtra: Both times Ross did team-ups between Batman and [[ComicBook/AntMan Henry Pym]], ComicBook/{{the Wasp}} was only "Guest Starring".
* DrillSergeantNasty: Thing, but he just wants to prepare JLA to fight ComicBook/{{Galactus}}.
* EnemiesWithDeath: Okay, not that much of an enemy, but [[ComicBook/TheSandman1989 Death]] looks quite happy about [[http://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2010/04/death.html Batman being drowned]].At last much happier about it that [[http://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2010/12/thing-and-death.html Ben trying to pick her up at bar]].
* EnemyMine: [[Franchise/GIJoe Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow]] [[http://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2010/05/gi-joe.html have joined forces to take down their mutual enemy.]]
* FaceHeelTurn: Suggested a lot of times with both heroes, keeping in tradition of [[{{Superdickery}} dishonest covers]]. At last we think so.
** And sometimes with other heroes, like with Batman and ComicBook/{{Raven}} team-up.
** ZigZagged with Batman and ComicBook/CaptainAmerica, where apparently they both think the other one is a traitor.
* LoveTriangle: A common plot with Thing covers is that he and a recurring guest star (like ComicBook/GreenLantern Kyle Rayner or the Tick) are fighting over Alicia.
* MeetTheNewBoss: Many superhero team-ups have Ben or Batman taking over some superhero team.
** TyrantTakesTheHelm: When Batman takes over ComicBook/TheAvengers, he kicks out all but seven members.
* TheMole: Thing in his team-ups with the WesternAnimation/{{Superfriends}} and the original ComicBook/JusticeSocietyOfAmerica.
* AnOfferYouCantRefuse: Scandal Savage telling Ben he will become new sixth member of ComicBook/SecretSix or their new victim, while they're chasing him in an ice cream truck.
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: [[ComicBook/HouseOfMystery Cain]] somehow turned Ben into one.
* RedSkiesCrossover: The cover for Batman teaming up with the classic Comicbook/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy is really about the Guardians finding the frozen body of Hugo Strange, dressed in a Batman costume.
* TheShadowKnows: There is more about [[{{Satan}} the man]] who faced Batman and ComicBook/{{Hellboy}} than meets the eye.
* {{Superdickery}}: Common. It's mostly our main stars, but from time to time we get bits like ComicBook/DoctorStrange turning Batman into an actual bat for some reason.
* TheyKilledKennyAgain: A common plot point of many Batman covers is the death of ComicBook/{{Robin}}. We have Batman and Speedy trying to avenge Robin's and ComicBook/GreenArrow's murder, Batman teaming up with ComicBook/{{Daredevil}} after the death of Robin, ComicBook/CloakAndDagger trying to punish Batman for allowing Robin to die, and so on.
* UltimateShowdownOfUltimateDestiny: Some of the fights go into this territory, with Thing fighting Film/KingKong and Franchise/{{Predator}} and Batman fighting ComicBook/{{Wolverine}}, ComicBook/DoctorDoom or [[Franchise/StarWars Darth Vader]].
** And now we have ComicBook/{{Aquaman}} vs. [[ComicBook/SubMariner Namor]].
** ''Super Team Family'' run really dwells into this, setting up all possible kinds of duels.
* VillainTeamUp: Also often, giving us things like Batman and Doctor Strange finding out that Bat-Mite and The Impossible Man joined forces.
