1* ''Webcomic/EightBitTheater'' revels in this. Most of the comedy comes from the main characters making things drastically worse for everyone around them through a mixture of greed, stupidity, and plain old AxCrazy.-->'''Black Mage:''' [[ButForMeItWasTuesday Oh, we've ruined millions of lives. They're just being babies about it.]]** The sister comic, ''Warbot In Accounting'' includes an example. The eponymous warbot, in an attempt to become a father, buys a kit to build a robot, only to produce a distorted, agonized thing. Warbot proceeds to dump the malformed baby robot in the trash.*** "It's so dark, daddy. So daaaaaaark...."** And this comes back around when it's revealed the baby robot is still in the trash some time later, pleading for help from its dad.** ''Webcomic/AnsemRetort'', which is probably inspired by ''8-Bit'' in more ways than one, is even worse. It sets the tone for the rest of the series when the first strip plays burning an orphanage and courthouse for laughs.* A significant chunk of the humor in ''Webcomic/BoyfriendOfTheDead'' is this, often involving humans being run down by zombies in the background; often utilizes Mood Whiplash. [[http://www.webtoons.com/en/comedy/boyfriend-of-the-dead/ep-21-drama/viewer?title_no=1102&episode_no=21 This page]] probably demonstrates best.* ''Webcomic/YingAndYan'': [[https://tapastic.com/episode/565943 This strip]] and [[https://tapastic.com/episode/565954 this strip]] make light of the possibility of one or both characters dying.* ''Webcomic/{{EVIL}}'': As the name would imply, most of the gags in this comic revolve around violence, murder, and other such amoral behavior.* ''Webcomic/KickTheFootballChuck'' Posits that Charlie Brown is not naturally bald, but bald from chemotherapy. Every common gag with ''ComicStrip/{{Peanuts}}'' is shed in this light. Particularly dark is a [[http://revfitz.com/comic/kick-the-football-chuck-08/ day at school]].* ''Webcomic/MrSquare'' always had a thumb in this pie, but most especially [[http://revfitz.com/issue342 here]]. In it Mr. Square goes to a fun house designed by Aleister Crowley. It ends with a [[spoiler:selfie-stick and a child's grave.]]* ''Webcomic/GoneWithTheBlastwave'' both [[LampshadeHanging lampshades]] its Black Comedy as well as the fact that it's [[HypocriticalHumor morally deplorable to laugh at it]]... In the process making it even more hilarious.* ''Webcomic/{{Concerned}}'' has its protagonist routinely engage in LethallyStupid acts, causing mass destruction and death wherever he goes. What helps its humor is that it takes place in the world of ''VideoGame/HalfLife2'', so the more ridiculous deaths stand out among the cruelty that's a natural part of the setting.* ''Webcomic/SomethingPositive'': Both the author and the characters positively adore this trope. The very first strip has one of the main characters sending his ex a coat hanger as a gift for her baby shower.* ''Webcomic/NobodyScores'' The main characters are maimed or killed on a regular basis. [[BloodyHilarious Hilarity Ensues]].* ''Webcomic/BittersweetCandyBowl'', [[http://www.bittersweetcandybowl.com/candybooru/post/view/350?search=molly Happy Mother's Day]]. See the first comment.* The Troll arc of ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}'' frequently veers into this, since [[OurTrollsAreDifferent trolls]] are an [[BarbarianTribe inherently violent race]], and their interactions in the comic descend into the worst kind of internet {{Troll}}-fuelled FlameWar only held in person and in a culture where there is no murder taboo. Expect to find hilarious facial expressions on heads severed by a serial killer, witty and idiosyncratic IM conversations about the end of the world, and characters horribly maiming each other each other for hilariously trivial reasons such as {{LARP}} drama, [[Music/InsaneClownPosse having just watched the music video for Insane Clown Posse's "Miracles"]], or boredom.** ''Homestuck'' in general has this going, particularly from Act 5 onward. Not just ''Homestuck'', not even just ''Webcomic/MSPaintAdventures'' - virtually everything Andrew Hussie has ever done, ''ever''. Even ''Webcomic/SweetBroAndHellaJeff'', if you really think about it.** And then comes Act 6, in which a version of our universe suffers a horrific totalitarian dictatorship involving the deaths of billions... but at the same time major elements included the Insane Clown Posse being elected as double juggalo presidents, Guy Fieri as "the third and final antichrist", and soft drinks being pumped through the water supply.* Quite possibly [[DeconstructedTrope deconstructed]] in ''Webcomic/NanasEverydayLife'', which begins as a SadistShow with instances of GallowsHumor and BlackComedyRape. As the story goes on it almost unnoticably puts [[CerebusSyndrome more emphasizes the dark aspects than the comedic ones]] until there is only one thing left to ask: '''IS THIS COMEDY?'''* Frequently played in ''Webcomic/NoBlackPlume''.* ''Webcomic/ZombieRanch'' has [[http://www.zombieranchcomic.com/2010/05/05/28-you-dont-need-a-body/ images]] like a woman casually using [[{{Irony}} glue]] to put her undead horse back together. That's not even getting into the media segments cheerfully depicting things like [[http://www.zombieranchcomic.com/episode/176-war-and-remembrance/ zombie massacre]].* ''[[http://headtripcomics.livejournal.com/ Head Trip]]'' [[LampshadeHanging hangs a lampshade]] on its reputation by starting off with [[http://headtripcomics.comicgenesis.com/d/20060303.html an abortion joke]].** ''[[http://www.somethingpositive.net/ Something Positive]]'' did [[http://www.somethingpositive.net/sp12192001.shtml the same thing]] a few years earlier.* ''Webcomic/LookingForGroup'' uses black comedy for many of the jokes in the strip, particularly the strips focusing on [[SociopathicHero Richard]]. The creators also made a short animated feature released on Youtube that is one long black comedy joke.** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcbazH6aE2g Excitement abounds, I almost can't wait. Relax, I don't want your baby, I already ate.]]* ''Webcomic/CyanideAndHappiness'' will often go to this level and beyond.* ''Webcomic/SexyLosers'' is a classic of the genre, with comedic situations arising from disgusting and perverted sexual practices, including necrophilia and incest.* ''[[http://www.biggercheese.com/ Bigger Than Cheeses]]'' performed an ample display of this trope in response to one of [[http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/comic.php?d=20080602/ Ctrl+Alts+Del's ham-fisted dramatic storylines]], with a series of arguably distasteful/controversial [[http://www.biggercheese.com/index.php?comic=747 two-panel gags]].* ''[[http://www.asofterworld.com/ A Softer World]]'' which relies on this in frequent but creative ways. ''[[http://www.asofterworld.com/index.php?id=260/ Like this.]]'' ''[[http://www.asofterworld.com/index.php?id=261/ Lampshaded]]'' (sort of, in an incredibly disturbing way) the very next day.* ''[[http://www.electricretard.com/ ElectricRetard]]''* ''[[http://www.lucid-tv.com Lucid TV]]'' does this with doctors. Think ''Series/{{House}}'', but worse.* ''Webcomic/VGCats'' has two examples [[http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=269 here]] and [[http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=270 here]]. The latter was in response to complaints about the former.** There is also [[http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=137 this]] and, if you count all kinds of babies, [[http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=186 this]].* ''WebComic/FLEMComics'' is one very long frequently-lampshaded run of every offensive trope in the book. The one strip the author thought so horrible that he put it off for years? ''Hank the Dancing Abortion''. Complete with hangar through the head. Later converted to a running gag.* ''Jerkcity'', in its more coherent moments.-->'''Spigot''': ''YOU MIGHT SAY ALL THIS SARIN GAS IS MAKING ME VIETNUMB''* ''[[http://www.agameoffools.com A Game of Fools]]'' can fall into this territory at times, with [[http://www.agameoffools.com/comic_05.html this]] being a particularly disturbing example.** [[http://agameoffools.com/comic_126.html This]] too.* The name of the game in ''[[http://manga.clone-army.org/t42r.php Tomoyo42's Room]]''. It's particularly fond of BlackComedyRape, but a lot of other disturbing subjects get PlayedForLaughs, as well.* ''[[http://legorobotcomics.com LegoRobot Comics]]'' is definitely an example, and DEFINITELY {{NSFW}}.* ''Webcomic/ShreddedMoose'' attempts this. The creator forgot to include the "comedy" part.* ''[[http://www.sexdrugsandjunecleaver.com/ Sex, Drugs, and June Cleaver]]'' occasionally forays into this territory. Oh, and it's a JournalComic.* ''Webcomic/PennyArcade'' wants its readers to know that, despite all appearances, [[http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2004/8/16/ they do in fact have limits]], of which this type of comedy is one. EvenEvilHasStandards.* ''Elftor''[='s=] entire purpose seems to have been locating the line of decency and sprinting as far past it as humanly possible. Consider [[http://www.elftor.com/elftor.php?number=22 this strip]], where the eponymous character "solves" his girlfriend's pregnancy by hitting her in the stomach with a shovel, resulting in a miscarriage, resulting in the fetus coming back to life as a zombie, who promptly gets his '''own''' girlfriend pregnant, and requests a shovel. You probably don't want to know about the [[http://www.elftor.com/elftor.php?number=20 special 9/11 comic]] (released ''on'' 9/11/01, no less).* ''Edible Dirt''.* The webcomic ''[[http://www.hyperdeathbabies.com/index.php?dir=anomaly&comic=1 Anomaly]]'' is hosted on a website called "hyperdeathbabies.com". The first comic stars a dead baby in a dumpster. After that... it's easier to list the comics that are ''not'' as offensive as humanly possible.* ''Webcomic/{{Doobl}}'' [[http://doobl.comicgenesis.com/d/20060623.html falls within this trope heavily]], although unfortunately listing to it here ruins the joke. It's still worth reading for a giggle, and you can always pretend to be surprised.* ''Webcomic/CoachRandom'' uses the joke in the page quote, except it's a "dead puppy in clown makeup".* Done in [[http://www.amazingsuperpowers.com/2011/04/sex-ed-2/ this]] ''Webcomic/AmazingSuperPowers'' strip. [[note]]With bonus dead babies in the hidden comic.[[/note]]* ''ComicStrip/ThePerryBibleFellowship'' mixes this with [[CrapsaccharineWorld a cutesy art style]].* ''[[http://choppingblock.keenspot.com/ Chopping Block]]'' is a web comic about a stereotypical serial killer, mommy and sex issues included.* ''Webcomic/TheSnailFactory''.* K.C. Green's works, such as ''Webcomic/{{Gunshow}}'' and ''Horribleville'', function on Black Comedy as if it were fuel. The fact that Green is diagnosed with severe depression, which many of his comics deal with, doesn't help any of it.* ''[[http://revfitz.com/squarecomics.html Mr. Square]]'' Can be particularly dark when it wants to be. It stars a clinically depressed doodle who wants nothing but death. The fact that the author withholds this from him is suspiciously spiteful.* ''Webcomic/PineValleyChronicles''.* ''Webcomic/{{Roommates}}'' has some pretty dark humor at times. Things like jokes about characters being dead in canon (it's a MetaFic), {{The Fair Folk}}'s child stealing and incestual habits, being bitten by a zombie, some characters homicidal or suicidal tendencies etc.. Its spin offs aren't immune either, ''Webcomic/GirlsNextDoor'' even had a running gag about MurderTheHypotenuse.* ''Webcomic/{{Oglaf}}'' often combines BlackComedy with sex.* A mainstay of [[http://www.bitercomics.com/ Biter Comics]].* ''Webcomic/{{XKCD}}'': [[http://xkcd.com/393/ "Oh, Jesus, he's getting out another rulebook."]]* ''Webcomic/BloodyUrban'' has [[http://bloodyurban.smackjeeves.com/comics/2042351/pizza/ it]] [[http://bloodyurban.smackjeeves.com/comics/1965735/dog-whistle/ in]] [[http://bloodyurban.smackjeeves.com/comics/1752133/school-reunion/ spades]]. Though what can you expect from a webcomic where the three main characters eat people?* ''Webcomic/SluggyFreelance'' has many jokes about people getting killed offscreen (or even on), such as in the [[{{gorn}} bloody]] slasher-parody "KITTEN". Usually it's still done in a very lighthearted manner; in "Cannibals Anonymous", eating people is treated as a bad habit. Less so in the "Nobody Beats the Sampire" paid-only story in which Sam's being so dumb he barely knows what's going on, even when in dangerous situations, ends up seriously harming people around him. In one scene, he flies away to flee another vampire, carrying a woman and not looking where he's going and breaking every street lamp along his path with her head, and then looks at her realistically beaten and bloody face and goes basically "Ew, I thought she was supposed to be hot." It's still played for comedy, but the repercussions are made more real.* ''Webcomic/TheBedfellows'' is a FurryWebcomic that has vast amounts of [[BlackComedyRape rape]] and stars an UnsympatheticComedyProtagonist.* ''Webcomic/TheNightBelongsToUs'': Ada often makes light of the fact that she's technically already dead. Such as when she narrowly avoided being burnt up by the sun:-->'''Ada''': HA! HA! HA! ''I'm ALIVE!'' *{{beat}}* Er, well, more or less.* ''WebComic/{{Nightmarish}}'' is a webcomic featuring [[Main/UglyCute Ugly]] [[Main/CuteMonsterGirl Cute Monster Characters]] (specifically [[Main/MonsterMash those based on classic horror characters]]) sometimes doing darkly hilarious stuff including [[Literature/StrangeCaseOfDrJekyllAndMrHyde Hyde]] giving Main/FrankensteinsMonster their heart. As in, '''[[https://nightmarish-adventures.tumblr.com/post/171994307851/sacrifice ripping it out of their own chest.]]'''* A lot of Irwin Cardozo's webcomics have dabbled in dark humor. Examples include a man having his unborn daughter aborted for [[StrawFeminist saying that all men are pigs]], a wheelchair-bound patient being told he'll only need his wheelchair for another two weeks with the strong implication that it will be because he'll be dead by then, and a man upsetting his girlfriend by cheating on her [[ILoveTheDead with the corpse of a woman he was supposed to perform an autopsy on]].
