It's an incredibly hilarious and catchy song, and it fits the lemurs' partying perfectly. Will I. Am only adds to this in the sequel, as does Chris Rock's "Afro Circus" in the third film.

Music/HansZimmer did the music for the first film, and teaming him up with will.i.am, who is largely a hip-hop producer and singer, is the musical equivalent of ''Franchise/KingdomHearts''.
