While most spy films -- and action films in general -- tend to head towards a more low-pitched, percussion-based sound, this film's music by Music/DanielPemberton is far more nuanced with influences from Music/EnnioMorricone's music to local Italian setpieces to Music/CarterBurwell's ''Film/BurnAfterReading'' music score.

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFCovx8oCT4 Escape From East Berlin.]] Prepare for one of the catchiest, jazziest, coolest spy themes of all time. The use of bass flute with dynamic percussion gives the song an artistic flare that's completely uncommon in action films these days.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUrbIU85I8E Take You Down]], the music that plays in the final chase sequence with [[TheDragon Alexander]] and was also the trailer theme, with its epic "[[Music/LedZeppelin Immigrant Song]]"-like yelling. No wonder it ended up being reused to great effect in ''Series/{{The Boys|2019}}''.
* Roberta Flack's "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muEl1JDW0UM Compared to What?]]" playing over the newspaper montage at the start sets the tone quite well.
* The [[NightmareFuel infamous torture scene]], is accompanied by the hauntingly beautiful "Torture in D Minor". Sadly, it has never been officially released in full, but [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrRxPE35cZM the little we hear]] is bound to stay with you for a long time.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyR-RLwhW9s Che Vuole Questa Musica Stasera]] is a passionate love song with a plaintive melody and a haunting harmony-- [[SoundtrackDissonance that plays on the radio while]] [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments Napoleon watches Illya being chased around the harbor in circles.]]
