* HeartwarmingInHindsight: Some of the early behavior of [[spoiler:Mona's monster]] seems like a genuine attempt to protect her in hindsight, although a great deal of it ([[spoiler:including killing the skeletons in Ringley's castle, along with a child who threw a roll of toilet paper at her]]) is misguided. Whether it's a sincere attempt to guard an innocent child or just an effort [[spoiler:by the monster to keep itself alive]] is debatable, but [[spoiler:given that the monster could just kill Mona and never have to worry again about dying]], she apparently has at least some concern for her.
