* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: It may have been annoying seeing them get disrespected, but having real veterans like [[Wrestling/BryanDanielson Daniel Bryan]] and [[Wrestling/LowKi Kaval]] did bring some charm to NXT. Another one, even someone less known like Sumie Sakai or Miss Rachel, even someone with fewer overseas tours like Amber O'Neal, could have done the same here. If no local vets were available there was probably a Mexican, Japanese, La Chacala, Kayoko Haruyama or someone available.

* SoBadItsGood: WWE didn't even try to hide the fact that it was impossible to take this season seriously, and it was no more apparent than with commentators Michael Cole and Josh Mathews, [[CrowningMomentOfFunny who proceeded to take the absolute piss out of the show for its entire duration]], even going as far as to outright break [[{{Kayfabe}} character]] just to make fun and [[LampshadeHanging hang lampshades]] over whatever stupid thing happened to be going on at the time.

* HollywoodPudgy: Kaitlyn went out of her way to make fun of Vickie's weight and Naomi for having a big butt despite the fact that she could have done with losing a bit of weight herself when the other two looked quite healthy.

* MemeticMutation: Beating Aksana with shovels.

* TheyJustDidntCare: The first two seasons of NXT had seven rookies of varying experience and one wrestler who had been around since the time Wrestling/{{WCW}} still operated, learning the styles of various promotions around the globe. The third season had actual four rookies of varying experience and two literal rookies who had barely been in the ring at all, much less as TV wrestlers. True, this season wasn't on television very long but that in itself is indicative of how little care WWE showed season 3.

* HollywoodHomely: AJ. She went out of her way to explain how plain and unattractive she was and one episode even had Cody Rhodes claim she'd probably never kissed a boy before. Right, except she looks like [[http://rpad.tv/2010/09/29/please-vote-for-aj-lee-in-wwe-nxt/ this]] and she loves cars, comic books and video games. She's probably got boys (and girls) lining up down the street for her.

* EliminationHoudini: Kaitlyn arguably. She was the least talented of the girls on the show but was popular with the fans because of her feud with Vickie.
** A feud which was immediately killed off after her win.
