* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Under other circumstances, Amaya's TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to Kuasa would be admirable -- but calling your granddaughter selfish for ''not'' wanting herself or her family to be erased from existence doesn't come off as very heroic. If anything, Amaya is the selfish one for keeping her romance with Nate alive even though they both know it can't last. In the end at least after her granddaughter's death helping her Amaya does seem to realize that what she is doing is wrong.
