** One of the Operation Kingslayer files you come across in Pucara is a recording of [[DumbassDJ DJ Perico]] having an epic IsThisThingOn moment where he starts cursing out all of the major cartel buchons and even El Sueno himself ''on-air''. It ends when Perico is told [[OhCrap he's getting a phone call from the boss.]]

* ThatOneLevel: Pretty much any mission where you instantly fail if you are detected.

*** This is somewhat alleviated, however, by the map labeling which collectible is which, meaning players who aren't interested in HundredPercentCompletion can selectively target the medals and guns and accessories they deem worth it and don't otherwise collect by passing near them in the course of play.

** Like most Ubisoft sandbox games, ''Wildlands'' has been criticized as having a collectables problem. Every single zone has about five or six missions, skill point medals, bonus medals, firearms, firearm accessories, rebel ops, and supply ops. All of the missions need to first be revealed by finding intel items (or occasionally happening across one), and every other category needs to be individually revealed by finding even more intel items. Entry into a new region generally starts off with a collectible hunt just to ''locate'' all the collectables.

* NightmareFuel:
** Pay a visit to the village of Culta which was [[RapePillageAndBurn razed to the ground]] on El Sueño's orders for sheltering an escaped prisoner. You'll see cages similar to those you'll find around Bolivia where prisoners are typically held until you free them. In Culta, they are empty except for [[FridgeHorror ash and other debris]].
** A frequent in-game prop you'll find is a crucified corpse with its entire lower half burned down to the bone while whatever remaining flesh on the top half is scorched beyond recognition. It's a horrifying, monstrous method of execution, clearly meant to cause as much agony as possible.
*** One variation of said prop is found in a village in the western region of Montuyoc, where the Cartel positioned two headlights and the corpse so that it casts the shadow on the wall of a church. To the unaware, it seems like a religious symbol meant to bring ease to these peoples' hearts, but even the Cartel are able to bastardize it through such inhumane methods and turn it into yet another symbol of fear.
** Up the road from Culta, pay a visit to the village of Yopil where every human inhabitant had disappeared without a trace overnight except for some feral dogs. The locals believed there was a curse but the [[IronicName Ghosts]] share their opinion with the skeptics that the cartel simply kidnapped them all. [[NothingIsScarier To what fate, no one has an answer.]] Just another way Santa Blanca maintains power with fear.
** Pick up a Kingslayer File on [[HappilyMarried Yuri and El Polito]], [[TortureTechnician torturers]] [[OutlawCouple for the cartel]], consisting of an audio recording of them talking about one of their recently expired victims which is [[{{Squick}} a lot more graphic]] than it needs to be.
** [[spoiler: Sueno, at the end of the game, turning to reveal he's beheaded Pac Katari and proudly presents his disturbingly realistic-looking severed head. If anyone deserved it, it was [[UngratefulBastard Katari]], but damn if it isn't gruesome.]]

[[spoiler:Despite being the head of Santa Blanca's smuggling operations that smuggle drugs, guns and people (both willing and unwilling) and more than likely ordering and/or committing dozens of murders, she gets complete immunity and witness protection. It is hinted that [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness he'll eventually run out of names to name]], but even then, he'll either be transferred from his LuxuryPrisonSuite in Florida to a CardboardPrison in Mexico (which he'll easily break out of), or would just be "cut loose" by the CIA, allowing him to build a brand new cartel, which Karen Bowman and the Ghosts [[HereWeGoAgain will have to dismantle all over again]].]]
