The DramatisPersonae and equivalent public character profiles almost never tell the full story about that character. At any given moment, there are ''several'' threads going on behind-the-scenes in private forums invisible to anyone except the storytellers and members of a given coterie. Meaning, a group of Giovanni could be ordering ghosts to spy on your character, or someone with Auspex 5 could be watching you, or some other character your character thought they could trust could be a spy for another coterie (or even another sect), and there's a very good chance you would ''never know'' until it's too late.
