* The ''WesternAnimation/AugieDoggieAndDoggieDaddy'' cartoon "Good Mouse Keeping" centered on a mouse filching the cheese in the kitchen. In one instance he's sleepwalking. Doggie Daddy wonders if the mouse is really asleep, so Augie lifts one of his eyelids. The iris is replaced with the word "Shhh!"
* In ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheBraveAndTheBold'', the Music Meister combines this with ExpressiveMask: his wraparound shades have musical notes, but the connecting bar behaves like eyebrows and the note body placement corresponds to where he's looking.
* ''WesternAnimation/BigCityGreens'':
** In "Remy Rescue" when Cricket is entranced by Remy's mansion, his eyes have little stars in them.
** Tilly gets hearts in her eyes in "Valentine's Dance" when she falls in love with a punching bag man. Gloria also gets heart eyes when she flirts with a French dude in her ImagineSpot in "Critterball Crisis".
