* In chapter 6 Scott had a dream where Ramona was an angel, stabbing him in the chest and summoning Scott's "evil exes" (symbolic evil exes this time. In reality none of them are evil). Since Ramona brought her past with her and Scott had to deal with it he thought she was messing with her on purpose. But his idealised version of her prevents him from consciously realising that she is just a normal person, which is why he saw her as an angel, so he can't do anything about it subconsciously or consciously and can't even bring himself to hate her, as though he were trapped in a never ending loop, which is where the glow comes in.
