I have updated it to relate current events related the game, removed some badly worded rants about builders which were repeated over and over, and removed things that should be in \"YMMV\"

**Recently a group of coders who call themselves "Darelict Games" have openly "Taken up the mantle" and have already released an unofficial version 1.07.

** Your builders have no concept of logic or priority. Cue building a room and getting trapped inside because nothing else is built right at the start of the game, building an air-lock and getting trapped in there because the room is completed before other rooms, or running out of oxygen and dieing because instead of building the life support room first, they went and built the refinery first instead. Or builders will hang around and chat instead of, you know, finishing that second life support room, even with oxygen running low, killing everyone and bringing a swift end to the game.

* GameMod: Attempted but failed. The final update to the game adds modding support, albeit halfheartedly. Not only does modding only work on the Windows version of the game (and the Mac version after a unannounced and unmarked update- Linux users are still left in the cold, with Double Fine promising that a fix will be coming when they have time to fix it although the game itself is no longer supported), it doesn't even have Steam Workshop support. As a result, there are practically no known mods for the game.

* UnwinnableByMistake: Due to ArtificialStupidity, your builders has no concept of priority or logic, If you even so much as sequence the building of a room wrong (ie building a item in the room first before the door), there's a possibility that you're hosed. Even when expanding a room, care must be taken because if sequenced wrong, the builders will tear down the wall first, getting everyone sucked into space instead.

If you have a brig zoned, a few citizens as doctors, and your security policy set to Non-Lethal, if you act fast to assign a brig to the raider(s) after incapacitating them, they will eventually pull a HeelFaceTurn and integrate into your base as useful crew after a stint in the brig.

* VideoGameCrueltyPotential: See ThrownOutTheAirlock above. Another popular method is to disable all the oxygen recyclers and watch everyone suffocate to death, or to remove a wall on the station and let the people inside be sucked into space. Or set your defense turret to "attack everyone mode" and tell people that they're welcome when they hail. Double Fine made very sure that even the sadists can have fun too.

* ImAHumanitarian: Corpses (from dead colonists and raiders) get recycled for their mass, which then (via food replicators) is consumed by the remaining residents. A bit of FridgeHorror, quite literally....
** Clearly, someone at Double Fine suddenly had this revelation too. In the release, this was changed to corpses being recycled into matter instead.
