''Smart Ball'' [[note]]: ''Jerry Boy'' in Japan[[/note]] is a platforming video game developed by Creator/GameFreak, published by Creator/SonyImagesoft, and released for UsefulNotes/SuperNintendoEntertainmentSystem in 1991. In the game the player plays as Jerry, a young prince from a kingdom that has been turned into a jelly bean by a witch's evil spell. Even in his new form, Jerry is anything but defenseless, as he can bounce on top of enemies or stretch to roll them over or is also able to grab items to throw as projectiles. In addition, he can stick to walls and ceilings to navigate through levels.

Not confused with the SmartBall trope.
