It can be used to justify all manner of [[PeoplesRepublicOfTyranny tyranny]], in particular twisting the notion of people being ''treated'' equally into people being ''made'' equal, until an entire nation is [[TallPoppySyndrome reduced to its lowest common denominator]], and schools do more to hinder education than achieve it. If you didn't know this was written by an Englishman in the 1960s, it would be easy to mistake for something by a modern-day American conservative.
