I'm mostly a fan of SciFi, [[{{Film/Aliens}} mostly]] -- especially {{Shortrunners}} and {{Midseason Replacement}}s like Series/SpaceAboveAndBeyond. Mostly, though, I'm here for [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic ponies]]; I'd never have become an active troper had it not been for that show. To date, I have only launched one "trope", which is currently considered a "trivia" element: SpoiledByTheMerchandise. Yes, ponies drove me to that, too; there were so many {{Edit War}}s over EarlyBirdCameo entries in episode recap pages referencing TheMerch that I felt compelled to start a YKTTW for it.
