Due to emotional issues that've been going on for a while (and the ones who caused it denying it, keeping him from getting proper help), I had to find my own peace in learning, studying philosophy and psychology in my spare time. As such, a lot of people consider me to be WiseBeyondTheirYears, which allows me more freedom in his taste in fiction, and has written philosophical essays that have given several of the people he's shown them to a happier view of life. Made even worse by his status as a StepfordSmiler leading to him attempting to suppress the sadness (due to thinking it'd be selfish to be upset since he's not the one slowly dying) and causing years of suppressed depression to explode. Due to a combination of his friend and the above-mentioned HeroicBSOD, he got out of the DespairEventHorizon, but after all this, he needs a fucking hug.
