As stated here. This ins't count as a "network".

* AdoredByTheNetwork: It's made rather clear that both authors really like working on this story, but [[Creator/GreenPhantomQueen Green_Phantom_Queen]] deserves special mention: not only is she adamant that the series is canon to the original Blossomverse, but has written a prologue linking it to ''Knight of the Orange Lily'', a SequelHook at the end of ''Voyage of Wisteria'', Professor Sycamore [[spoiler: cameos during the final battle of ''Voyage of Wisteria'']], and has written ''three'' sidestories dedicated to it: ''Rey Mysterio versus the Cosmos'', ''Orchid Observer'', and ''Fury of Thistle'', the latter being a crossover with the regular Blossomverse universe, which eventually had to be deleted due to ''overwhelmingly'' negative reception.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Cross mentions having completed a second side story a la ''Oak Lore'' and gotten a lot of progress on a third that would have covered such ideas as 'exploring Pokemon Journeys without Professor Cerise', 'a fighting tournament with battles against Bea and Greta', and 'training with Ralts and helping the Pallet Town congressional rep', but due to how the Rainbow Rocket arc depicted Ash posting them would be impossible without massive overhaul, as they'd been written with the idea that Ash wasn't ignoring Alola in a completely out of character actions in mind as well as the idea that Rainbow Rocket wasn't openly invading and the world was overall oblivious to what was going on in Alola.

** Tres was originally written as a cisgender male, but the authors decided to make him as a trans man instead.

* WriterRevolt: When Cross wrote a segment to try and resolve the Rainbow Arc's Ash handling, in an end of chapter note he makes it very clear that he thinks the idea is stupid but is stuck with it and just trying to make something vaguely feasible out of it.

* CreatorBacklash: The co-writers of the previous continuity have generally negative views of Crocus, disliking its choice of plotlines and how Crocus either repeats old ideas that were seen as best left behind, or perform changes that are... questionable at best.

Notably Cross outright wrote [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/39946890 his own version of how the Rainbow Arc should end]] out of sheer disgust out of how poorly he thought of the decisions taken.

Adding "either" implies there's two things to discuss.
