*** This Troper has a small plush cat named Ginger that he's slept with for about ten years. It's the only thing he has left of his great-grandmother, and is irreplaceable. One night, Ginger seemed to mysteriously vanish, and was missing for about a month. This troper didn't think much of it, but then after reading this page, he went on a [[Roaring Rampage of Revenge]], on a one-man quest to find Ginger. It turns out that the night he lost her, she had been flung into the air, and landed in his garbage can. That's where he found her. This troper held her close, crying like a baby, as he was reunited with his favorite toy of all time. For the record, this troper is 18.
** It was [[spoiler: Lotso's backstory]] for this troper as well. Heck, [[spoiler: Lotso]] as a character was a big tearjerker for this troper. Soon after watching the movie she bought herself the Thinkway toy of him that she hugs and reassures is loved everyday. And an out of movie tearjerker for this troper is how ruthlessly cold and hateful most fans are towards the character and [[HateDumb any fans who like him]]. It not only makes this troper want to avoid the Toy Story fandom, but all three films completely, which is an awful shame.

** This Troper cries every time he sees that. He made it through ''{{Wall-E}}'' and ''LordOfTheRings'' without a tear, thought [[TransformersTheMovie Optimus Prime's death]] was weird, and found the deaths of [[GurrenLagann Kamina and Nia]] to be average at best. During this scene, he sobs. He sings with the music, and when it reaches the final verse, he just breaks up. "Clearly... I will go sailing... no... more..."

* This troper threw her Toy Story 2 Jessie doll away when she was 10, long before she knew a third installment of the films was coming out. After searching AND seeing the movie, I felt like Emily, or Andy, or something. This troper still misses that doll. :(

** That's interesting, because "why I did it" speeches in which [[CreateYourOwnVillain the hero is responsible for the villain's anguish]] make me '''hate''' the hero. ''The Incredibles'' was no exception.

* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=px0j1EHF8Y0 Jessie's backstory]] must have a direct mainline to your worst fears of abandonment and lost childhood for all the tears it extracts. Sarah [=McLachlan=] singing "When Somebody Loved Me" in the background gives it a feeling of true love lost, too.

It makes this troper want to avoid not just the fandom, but all three movies completely, which is an awful shame.

** This troper found himself tearing up while watching the movie as it truly reminded him
of all the fun times he had with his toys as a kid growing up. It really made this troper think of all his toys that over the years were donated or given away, like where they are now, if they're bringing as much enjoyment to another kid as he felt as a kid or if their new owner is treating them with as much love as he did. When this troper got home, he went up into the attic, gathered up his toys that are left together and began to tear up as he held them in his arms. This tropers older sister says he's too old to be playing with toys, but this troper says that doesn't mean that the sentimental value is gone.

* No one has mentioned the scene [[spoiler:where Andy's mom immediatley breaks down in tears (having entered Andy's emptied room) and say she always want to be there for Andy? It's not just a sad family scene. The whole film, the audience has experienced the Toys' feelings of loss and abandonment. When Andy's mother held him before he left, most of the college-aged audience identifies with Andy...and realizes that for every moment you felt abandoned by someone, someone ELSE has felt abandoned by YOU.]]

* ThisTroper tried to NOT CRY for the whole movie. It was hard, but in the end I lost, when Andy says to Molly:[[spoiler: Take care of them. They mean a lot to me.]]

**It may have been in the deleted scenes on the DVD, but in the waste facitlty theres a scene where after all the action happens the giant Wall-(R?)s stop crushing garbage and gather around the heroes to see if they are ok...*tear*

*** This troper once [[spoiler: owned a pink bear as a small child, which she lost and which her parents eventually replaced.]] [[SoYeah Yeah.]]
