** While he hates it in Natick Banks, Kim later befriends a boy named Jason and they seem to get along pretty well. However, Jason's {{jerkass}} older brother gives the two of them a copy of the ''Red Menace'' holotape game and suggests they "learn something." Kim's father comes home and furious to see them playing it. He sends Jason home and tells Kim he's not allowed to play with him anymore, and is later heard arguing with his uncle. Poor Kim doesn't even understand what he did wrong.

* Just outside of Natick Banks, there's an empty house with a terminal inside it. On the terminal is the journal of a young child from before the war, whose family was desperately trying to avoid the [[PoWCamp Chinese internment camps]]. It's a fairly chilling reminder that no matter how nice pre-war America ''appeared'' to be, it was never truly free of prejudice.

* It's really sad to see the cheerful Doctor Duff become all depressed if Professor Scara is convinced to join the Brotherhood. Especially if you betray the Brotherhood afterwards and kill Scara along with the rest.
