And then they all end up dying when they end up on the ''Ascalin'' and the lack of Ax to vouch for them leads to them being ThrownOutTheAirlock. Meanwhile, Ax is shown in a cage in the Yeerk pool, emotionally broken and unable to do anything except wait to be infested again.
