* ''WesternAnimation/MonstersVsAliens'': The Invisible Man is stated to have been a prisoner at Area 52. He died of a heart attack before the events of the movie (B.O.B. was told he had escaped to spare his feelings), and it's implied that his corpse is still in the seemingly empty chair he died on. He does make an appearance (as much as an invisible man ''can'' appear) in the DVD short "B.O.B.'s Big Break".
* ''WesternAnimation/HotelTransylvania'': Griffin the Invisible Man is part of Drac's posse of friends. He's only visible by his glasses and the occasional accessory. [[WesternAnimation/HotelTransylvania2 The sequel]] introduces his girlfriend, also invisible, with the joke being that the others think he's making her up.

* ''Theatre/{{Matilda}}'': When Miss Honey is assessing her reading ability, Matilda gives a long list of books she has read recently, including ''Literature/NicholasNickleby'', ''Literature/OliverTwist'', ''Literature/JaneEyre'', ''Literature/TessOfTheDurbervilles'', ''Literature/TheLordOfTheRings'', ''Literature/TheInvisibleMan'', ''Literature/TheSecretGarden'', ''Literature/CrimeAndPunishment'', ...and ''Literature/TheCatInTheHat''

* ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes'': "WesternAnimation/PorkysMovieMystery" is about a mysterious phantom scaring people all over Hollywood. The Phantom is revealed to be the Invisible Man, upset that they dropped him after one picture. (The cartoon was released before ''Film/TheInvisibleManReturns''.)
