Kurosaki vs Sora continues. Kurosaki keeps countering Sora's moves and begins to Rank Up his Xyz monsters. The crowd's delight at Sora's fluffy Fluffal monsters begins to turn to horror as Sora's dueling tactics grow more desperate, and the missile attacks of Kurosaki's Raidraptors turn the Action Field into a fiery warzone.

Sora grows increasingly enraged and mockingly reveals Kurosaki is right; Sora's people ''did'' attack Kurosaki's home, and they had fun doing it, because to Sora and his people, scum Xyz users like Kurosaki are just prey to be hunted. Sora resorts to fusing all his Death-Toy[=/=]Frightfur monsters into "Death-Toy Mad Chimera (Frightfur Chimera)," and he tries to deal the final blow, but Kurosaki again counters and ranks up his monster once again to win the duel. In the aftermath, a collapsing Action Field building falls on Sora, injuring him.

!! This episode contains examples of:
* ApocalypseHow: The Action Field becomes a reenactment of a Class 0 example, although the actual event was something ''much'' higher on the scale.
* BreakTheHaughty: As Sora begins losing.
* CerebusSyndrome: Sora, a previously friendly and cute little kid, reveals an extreme sadistic side and a stone-cold desire to kill Xyz users. The duel that follows is so violent and scary that the entire audience is shaken when it ends. This episode is the first sign the series is about to get '''dark''', and NothingIsTheSameAnymore from this point on.
* DeliberatelyCuteChild: The main cast learns that Sora is one.
* EldritchAbomination: Most of Sora's monsters apply, but none more so than the titanic "Frightfur: Mad Chimera".
* HarmfulToMinors: The children viewing the duel are justifiably freaked by what happens. Gets a lampshade in the dub.
-->'''Nico:''' The whole crowd is thrilled to bits, except for that little girl.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Even the bystanders notice that Sora is acting weird.
* TheReveal: Sora's true, malevolent personality truly comes out this episode, right at the point where he bites through his lollipop.
* SoreLoser: Sora does ''not'' take losing to an Xyz duelist well; he isn't sealed, but that is CruelMercy on Kurosaki's part.
* StunnedSilence: After the duel.
* VillainousBreakdown: Sora grows increasingly unhinged as his efforts to beat Kurosaki fall short, revealing the AxCrazy lunatic hiding beneath that smug and smiling exterior.
* WhamEpisode: The duel itself is explosive, with multiple tit-for-tat situations, reversals, and monsters that are genuinely intimidating. But more than that, this episode confirms that not only is Sora from the Fusion Dimension, but he and his friends actively hunt down Xyz duelists ''for fun'', and that they're two dimensions are bitterly at war.
