High school senior and boxing prodigy Juan Guerrero doesn't have it so easy at home, with both him and his mother, Elena, constantly dealing with his abusive father, Luis, and having once hung out with gang members. Walker eventually took him out of the gang lifestyle and enrolled him in the Young Glove boxing program, and since then, Juan now plans on attending Michigan State University on a full scholarship. One night during one of his boxing matches, Juan's parents are both killed in a car accident due to Luis being drunk, so Walker and Alex take him in until he graduates, that way, he doesn't lose his scholarship. At the same time, the Rangers are alerted to an Ecstasy ring after three kids are hit and killed by a train, coming to find they were high on a drug known as Angel's Kiss, an Ecstacy mixed with Phencyclidine (PCP). Depressed with his mother's death, Juan is eventually pulled back into the lifestyle, but had no idea that the gang was selling Angel's Kiss, but in the process, he just might become instrumental in helping the Rangers bust that Ecstasy ring.
