Gleb comes too far with his pranks on Phil, and now Phil wants to strike back. And since Varya seems to always be around, she must help him, only then he would consider her to be "redeemed". Phil organises everything, and manages to scare Gleb enough for him to faint... but Gleb still manages to leave the last laugh for himself, by faking near-death condition and scaring Phil and Varya. They are not amused, and Gleb now has to run.

But instead she uses the situation in her favour, by asking Bykov via microphone, publicly, if he's ready to live on her terms... or leave her forever. He chooses accept her terms.
