* GirlsNightOutEpisode: The plot focuses on four of the series' heroines; namely Amy, Tangle, Jewel, and Belle. The start of #45 had Amy invite Sonic along, but Tails reminded Sonic he had already promised he'd hang out and play videos games with him.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Whereas a couple of previous issues showed a bit of physical and emotional/psychological consequences of the [[ZombieApocalypse Zombot Apocalypse]] caused by the Metal Virus (misplaced around the globe and general fatigue, respectively), issue 45 introduces a serious environmental one. Because the formerly infected plant life didn't absorb enough water during the hydration season, most of the camping area where Amy and her friends are traveling have become too dry. It doesn't take much to start a fire.
* TemptingFate: The campground ranger instills some strict rules around fire safety as he mentions the plants previously infected by the Metal Virus couldn't be hydrated to avoid drying out. By the end of issue 45, the campsite ends up on fire.

But things turn serious when a forest fire breaks out, threatening their lives and the other campers as well. Can our ladies save the day while likewise overcoming their personal problems in the process?
