The stress of the invasion activated Connor's meta-gene, and he now has his very own Canary Cry. Noting that raising him has just got a lot more complicated, she adds it's a good thing she has friends to help her figure this out.

Cyborg kills Brainiac, noting that the humanity inside him that Brainiac so condescended is what allowed him to win, but not before taking his 12th level intellect along with the means to control his ship. With the ship, he sets about restoring not only the cities taken from Earth, starting with his hometown Detroit, but those of other worlds as well. With Brainiac's 12th level intellect, he also resurrects the Teen Titans who had died when Metropolis was destroyed. [[BattleCry Titans together.]] [[CatchPhrase Booyah!]]

Reflecting on how good it feels to finally kill Brainiac, Red Hood notes he had to use high-power ammunition to penetrate the alien's armour. But no sooner has that fight stopped than Batman and Superman are at it again. [[BothSidesHaveAPoint While he agrees with Superman that unrepentant murderers and rapists deserve to die, he can't deny Batman is right about the Regime being tyrants.]] Rather than stick around and pick a side when he doesn't like either of them much, he strikes out on his own and decides to do things his way -- protecting the innocent (saving a little girl) and punishing the guilty (executing Professor Pyg) as he sees fit.
