* SkipTheAnesthetic: The ShowWithinAShow ''Natural Surgery'' shows doctors giving surgeries to their patients without giving any anesthetic.
* StrangeSyntaxSpeaker: One of the side effects after using the H.R.Z. causes Henry to mix up his sentences from time to time.
-->'''Henry:''' Well, you could have before that you told me!

Fixed an error. A little slippy in the grippy.

* ScrewLearningIHavePhlebotinum: Ray and Gooch use a cerebral data transducer (H.R.Z.) to transfer knowledge into Henry's brain and help him acquire historical knowledge on Puerto Rico, guaranteed to him completely ace his makeup exam the next day.

Added a new trope to this episode.

Added DiffLines:

* MultiPartEpisode: Inverted. This episode acts as a prequel to "The Secret Gets Out" as the end of this episode builds up the plot to "The Secret Gets Out", but they are individual episodes that air in the space of one week. They both take up the running time of 44 minutes and are two back-to-back episodes.

Alphabeticalisaiton matters.

* {{Malaproper}}: When Henry uses the H.R.Z., he gets two side effects. One of these consists of Henry mixing up his words [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin by saying them in the wrong order at any random time.]]

[[caption-width-right:1000:It's hard to balance your life when you have to save the world from criminals, go to school to learn, care about yourself, have the time to do what you really want to do and a family to love and cherish for, isn't it?]]
!! Woah! I know TVTropes!:
*AsleepInClass: On Wednesday (the day of the episode in which it initially takes place), Henry sleeps through his entire history test because he had to fight Shaft on Tuesday (the previous day) with Ray and had to clean the store all through the morning, resulting him in being sleep deprived and only getting 1-2 hours of sleep.
*BothSidesHaveAPoint: Captain Man and Kid Danger stop Shaft from robbing the glass store and beat him in a two-against-one fight while causing property damage. However, their fight causes the owner to get very angry at them as they basically committed a crime by damaging almost every glass bottle in said shop, forcing the two to clean up the mess they had made in the shop.
*ChekhovsGun: The gumball tube Henry stores in one of his paintings [[spoiler: eventually turns out to be a device he later uses as [[{{McGuffin}} backup gum]] for the very next episode when he gets fired, and five years later in "Captain Drex", where he has to prove to Kris and Jake he is Kid Danger to fight off the caveman.]]
*{{Cliffhanger}}: The ending builds up the plot to the succeeding episode, "The Secret Gets Out", when [[{{Foreshadowing}} Charlotte starts to get suspicious of Henry.]]
* CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot: There were two ways this episode could have avoided:
**One solution is zigzagged because if Ray had not sent Kid Danger to help fight Shaft while he was in the middle of studying, the entire episode's plot would not have occurred, though it would have occurred anyway because Henry should have known better than to stay up all night studying.
**A downplayed example of this is when the fight occurred at the glass shop. That situation could have easily been cut by 2 minutes had Captain Man and Kid Danger left the shop when the owner kindly asked them to.
**Averted by Ray and Gooch when they use the H.R.Z. on Henry without notifying him about any possible side effects.
*EncyclopediacKnowledge: Thanks to the H.R.Z., Henry now has [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin excellent knowledge of Puerto Rico and earned a 100% on his exam by answering every question correctly.]]
*EstablishingCharacterMoment: Ray didn't seem to have much of a character in the previous episode, as he was "Captain Man" for most of it. Here, we learn how he can sometimes get DistractedByTheSexy, particularly Kris Hart, when he picks up a picture of her in Henry's room.
*{{Foreshadowing}}: Charlotte starts to get suspicious of Henry when she asks him where he has been on Thursday when he skipped school, building up the plot to the very next episode, "The Secret Gets Out".
*HeroInsurance: Downplayed. Captain Man and Kid Danger stop Shaft from robbing Glass from the Past, but their fight with the robber destroys almost every glass bottle in the store. The owner is [[JerkassHasAPoint justifiably upset by what had happened]] and makes them clean up the whole store; the two are not only lucky that they have to pay to replace the glass but are also lucky they do not end up in jail in doing so.
*JerkassHasAPoint: While the shopkeeper from Glass from the Past didn't have to force Captain Man or Kid Danger to clean up the broken glass, he had every reason to be angry with them, as they technically committed property damage while fighting Shaft in store. So in a way, the heroes are also at fault for ruining his store, not to mention [[CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot that they could have averted this whole fiasco from worsening had they just left the store.]]
*KarmaHoudini: Downplayed. Shaft doesn't get forced to clean the mess of broken glass due to being knocked out by Captain Man and Kid Danger, but it is implied he does get taken to prison afterwards for robbing the store.
*MidSeasonUpgrade: More like "Pre-Season Upgrade", where Henry gets a new device to contact Ray known as the Whiz-Watch. The key difference between that and the Whiz-Band is that the former displays a hologram of the person the user interacts with.
*{{Malaproper}}: When Henry uses the H.R.Z., he gets two side effects. One of these consists of Henry mixing up his words [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin by saying them in the wrong order at any random time.]]
*MustHaveCaffeine: Subverted. Henry tries to drink coffee to keep himself awake and prevent him from passing out, but Charlotte takes it from him to prevent him from causing a huge caffeine crash after finishing school because he is thirteen and the size of the mug he would have drank out of.
*NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: Captain Man and Kid Danger stop Shaft from robbing the glass store and attempting to off the owner, though their fight ends up causing property damage and costing him a lump sum of money to replace all of the broken glass they broke.
*OneTwoSkipAFew: Double-subverted. Shaft strikes Captain Man twice with a metal pipe by hitting him in the head; when he hits him the first time, Captain Man tells Shaft to do it again and instantly says strike three once he gets hit, with Kid Danger correcting Captain Man that Shaft only hit him twice. Captain Man later tells Kid Danger not to correct him while dealing with criminals.
*RightBehindMe: Ray and Henry's conversation on the Whiz-Watch actually had Ray right behind him the whole time without him noticing.
*ScreamsLikeALittleGirl: When Henry uses the H.R.Z., he gets two side effects. One of these consists of Henry [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin screaming like a girl at any random time.]]
*ScrewLearningIHavePhlebotinum: Ray and Gooch use a cerebral data transducer (H.R.Z.) to transfer knowledge into Henry's brain and help him acquire historical knowledge on Puerto Rico, guaranteed to him completely ace his makeup exam the next day.
*SelfDestructMechanism: The Whiz-Band features this. Once Henry puts on his Whiz-Watch, he tosses it into the air and disappears once it lands on the ground and goes off in a triple-beep sequence three times.
*SkippingSchool: On a random Thursday (the day before his makeup exam), Henry skips school to study and heads to the Man Cave to find a way to ace his Puerto Rican history test.
*VocalEvolution: Jasper's voice gets deeper due to Sean Ryan Fox hitting puberty between the production of this episode and "The Danger Begins". It is even lampshaded in-universe:
->'''Jasper:''' What's the matter with you?\\
'''Henry:''' Nothing. I'm just... I got a lot going on.\\
'''Jasper''': Is it your hormones?\\
{{Beat}}\\
'''Jasper:''' Is your body changing, too?\\
{{Beat}}\\
'''Jasper:''' You been having weird dreams?\\

*WakeUpGoToSchoolSaveTheWorld: Lampshaded by Henry when he struggles to balance his life between school, work and home.
*WhereDoesHeGetAllThoseWonderfulToys: How can Ray make and find a Whiz Watch for Henry?
