* NothingIsTheSameAnymore: At the end of it, Jill and most of the Norma are dead save for Ange and the survivors of Julio's massacre; Arzenal has returned to the true Earth; and the [=DRAGONs=] live in harmony with the norma. As for Sylvia and the Misurugi citizens, they are left without mana and have to survive on their own.

* BittersweetEnding: The Norma and the [=DRAGONs=] return to the true Earth to help Ange finally kill Embryo, stopping the dimensional merge and undoing his reign of terror, and Libertas is a success. However, while Ange and Sylvia are estranged, Jill is dead and the humans in the false Earth have to live without their powers, the Norma and the [=DRAGONs=] look forward to a new future of peace.

* EarnYourHappyEnding: The norma and the [=DRAGONs=] live in harmony following Embryo's defeated.

* HourglassPlot: At the beginning of the series, the Misurugi Empire was a prosperous utopia of peaceful mana users, while the normas are exiled to live in the "[[WelcomeToHell hell]]" that's Arzenal. Now, the roles have been switched: the former mana-users are condemned to the lawless, post-apocalypse nightmare that was once Misurugi, whilst the normas (along with their allies) [[EarnYourHappyEnding create a true paradise on the original Earth]].

* NearVillainVictory: Embryo has captured Ange and is merging the two Earths. Then Hilda, Salia, Tusk, the Aurora crew and the [=DRAGONs=] arrive. Even with the odds against him, he still manages to epower the Mana users and have their world turned into a bigger craphole by the end and has killed billions along the way.

It was previously a utopic world of peace and harmony, only marred by his [[FantasticRacism cruel prejudice towards Normas]], looking down on them for being allegedly violent and anti-social. The last we see the Mana society, they've become everything they accused Normas and pre-mana humans of being: a broken society of violent and anti-social anarchists [[TheMagicGoesAway without mana]].

** When Tusk and Ange get stuck in the world where World War VII occurred, Tusk wants to build "Cafe Ange" with her after killing Embryo together. Sure enough, they build it after Embryo is dead.

* CruelAndUnusualDeath: Embryo gets sliced in half by Tusk and it isn't a nice way to go.

* DefiantCaptive: Ange sings the "Endless Song" when Embryo attempts to rape her.

* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: Tusk and Ange manage to finish off Embryo and Hysterica for good.

* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: Tusk kills Embryo by bisecting his body in half, while Ange and her allies cut Hysterica and its copies in half.
