Kamen Rider is a different franchise.

* In episode 35, Yodonna develops a liking for popsicles much like a certain other villain - Ankh in Series/KamenRiderOOO.

* This isn't the first season where the male blue ranger is very serious and has a giddy kid-like partner zord. Jetter and Shigeru are similar to Kera and and Yukito in Abaranger.

* The MonstersOfTheWeek are mask-themed just like in Series/HimitsuSentaiGoranger and have a similar aesthetic (large heads based on their theme, caped, often minimalist and often reused body below the neck)Goranger's monsters often, though not always, had the same black-suited and red-belted body with tall boots below the neck. Meanwhile, Kiramager's monsters' bodies are identical below the neck, except for being recolored. It's understandable because the giant monsters look nothing like the small monsters this time, so you'd be creating two [=MOTWs=] every week if you went all-out; similarly, Dekaranger[='s=] Heavy Industrial Machines and Go-Busters Megazords come in a handful of recurring types; this is just the first time it's the small monster who was less personalized.

* Sena and her entire track and field team wear SCRTC-branded gear. What's even better is that Miki Masaki and her daughter Natsume appear in Episode 27, and Jan's Janspeak has spread to them.
* The manga Mabushina read in Episode 2, Good Three, is based off the adventures of the Lupinrangers from Umika Hayami/Lupin Yellow's perspective, and written by her best friend/motivator Shiho Ichinose herself.

* Joystick Jamen's catchphrase is "Aiming for your heart - target locked!" This is also the OnTheNextEpisodeOfCatchPhrase from Series/TokusouSentaiDekaranger.As always, your translation may vary. However, the Japanese phrasing is identical.
* Shovellow says some phrases that harken back to previous series in episode 11, specifically "Arriving like a gale!"shushutto, "Splendid!"appare and "Que bom!".
* The armor Galza wears after he joins Yodonheim is called the "Armor of Darkness".
* Episode 14 showcased a couple of ToQger references, namely SL Jamen exclaiming "Full speed ahead!" and both Juru and Takamichi ending up in a bathhouse. Takamichi, while bathing, also states that "Limits were meant to be broken." Interestingly, we'd later see it reversed to make these s to the Ryusoulgers: after a MacGuffin gave the monster a DeadlyUpgrade while a new villainess did the same for the grunts, the Kiramagers took it as a lesson that limits definitely exist. The Kiramagers wouldn't go past theirs and destroy themselves for the sake of one battle, so instead of using the MacGuffin directly, they use it to power a SuperMode that has a time limit before it shuts down to protect the user.
* In episode 25,
** Bomb Jamen introduces himself in a pose similar to the Dynamen, with an explosion behind him to boot.
** blasts lightning from her eyes towards Carantula, which is a reference to Reje's lightning blasts towards her fellow generals, although blasts are entirely her own.
* In episode 31, while playing with miniature Mashin Toys, Tatsuki dubs Mach and Shovellow Machines No. 3 and 4, respectively. This alludes to past sentai numbering the colors accordingly including: Series/GekisouSentaiCarranger, Series/KyukyuSentaiGoGoV, Series/MiraiSentaiTimeranger and Series/TokusouSentaiDekaranger.
* Wire Jamen from episode 40 is a ShapeShifter whose default form is a bat head very similar to Agent Abrella. He even has a cape to better sell the look.
