* Played with in ''Series/{{Primeval}}'' episode 4, "Dodo Madness" The dodos that travel to the present day through an anomaly initially seem stupid and harmless. The ARC team is initially relieved that they're only dealing with cute birds instead of violent, dangerous animals. But then it turns out some of the dodos are infected with a HatePlague that makes them extremely aggressive. Worse yet, it can spread to humans, turning Connor's friend Tom into a violent, zombie-like creature and ultimately killing him. The dodos themselves are fairly doofy, but the consequences of their arrival are most certainly not.
