He is actually trying to save the life of his daughter, who is a prisoner the Gestapo are about to execute, but it remains a matter of concern just what hell do to save her life [[spoiler: ultimately he doesn't; sell out anyone though]].
* FarmBoy: Loki's Dutch cousin Willem, who joins the main cast in the fourth book.
