* Starlight immediately shooting down Trixie's idea of testing her teleportation spell on Spike. Considering how often Spike was at the ButtMonkey end of Twilight's spells in early seasons, it is nice to see Starlight would never even consider using Spike as a test subject for magic.

Twilight sets Flurry down to play with the twins while she gets treats, and the two of them eye Flurry for a moment, not recognizing her, and Flurry briefly backs away under their glances. Then the two quickly become welcoming to her, holding out their toys offering her to play with them. Even Twilight is pleased to see they're are friends already. Though it doesn't last for long due to the twins getting mad at Flurry for breaking one of their toys while trying to get them to stop fighting, it is likely they won't remember the event for long due to their age and the three will still be friends.

* When Maud says "I didn't get a rockterate because I can shred on guitar like nopony else." Starlight actually laughs. It's a subtle ContinuityNod, as Maud has said in the past that jokes are "her favorite", and earlier in the episode had said that she does stand-up. Starlight Glimmer actually picked up on and laughed sincerely at one of Maud's jokes.
