* In the manga there's a scene where Mitsuko has Jiro take off his clothes so she can search the gaps in his mechanisms for the Jeminy circuit designs, and he appears to have fake skin covering his whole body, except his hands, which were shown earlier to be just bare metal beneath the gloves. Why would you leave the hands metal if you were trying to make a robot that could pass for human?
