* Much of Gold's conversation with Archie when he thinks [[spoiler:August]] is his son.

** Dr. Whale is ''[[spoiler:Dr Frankenstein.]]'' Talk about a CrackPairing.

*** He's ''still'' not let it go as of ''The Black Fairy'' as he writes off Granny's as a place for [[spoiler:Emma and Hook to marry]] due to not all their memories there being "good", and brings up Whale.

** Also [[HilariousInHindsight funny]] that it's Whale leading the angry mob of villagers when in a later episode we find out he's [[spoiler:Dr. Frankenstein]].

* This is part heartwarming and part hilarious. [[spoiler:On their wedding day, Snow finds out she's not cursed and that she is capable of having children.]]

* [[spoiler:Belle]] goes missing. Gold gets Charming to help find her.

* Dr. Whale turns up at Rumple's [[spoiler:with his arm in an icebox.]]

** Rumple's big price for [[spoiler:healing the arm? Getting Whale to admit that he needs magic.]] What are you, six years old?

* It ''seriously'' stops being funny by the end of the episode [[spoiler:where Regina comes to Archie in tears because she used magic to MercyKill Daniel]] but, at the time, Regina's "[[AddictiveMagic I haven't used magic in two days]]" comment to Archie induced a few giggles because of the delivery of the line and the hilarity of Jiminy Cricket acting as the Evil Queen's shrink.

* The {{Narm Charm}} of a bad tempered, scary giant with the face of sweet, cuddly Jorge Garcia. [[spoiler:Though less so when we see his {{Hidden Depths}}.]]

* Only one of them (Aurora, Snow, Mulan and [[spoiler:Emma]]) can go with Hook up the beanstalk.

* Even though you know they're talking about [[spoiler:putting Charming under a sleeping curse]] , Rumplestiltskin's line to Regina as he hands her [[spoiler:the cursed spindle]] is brilliant:

* Emma's reaction to [[spoiler:being able to NoSell having her heart ripped out]].

** Also Cora [[spoiler:with her hand stuck in Emma's chest, trying to get her heart out. Cora's WTF? expression is hilarious.]]

Particularly funny is the casual way she said it.]]

* The explanation behind [[spoiler:Ariel's re-appearance? Elsa shrunk the Jolly Roger (with Ariel nearby) to punish Blackbeard for his attempts to plunder the royal family of Arendelle.]]
* [[spoiler:Ariel slaps Hook for what he did in "The Jolly Roger", with the main reasoning being she's angry that she actually had to [[SaveTheVillain save Blackbeard's life]] as a result.]]

* Marian [[spoiler:(Zelena in disguise)]] showing up in Gold's hospital room to reveal she'd switched the Elixir of the Wounded Heart...with cough medicine. And proceeds to go through [[SideEffectsInclude the usual list]] when explaining what it will do to him in lieu of healing his heart. [[CrossesTheLineTwice Ending with that it's "non-drowsy."]]
** [[spoiler:Zelena giddily knocking on his chest as if to say "Anybody in there?" while smirking as he goes into cardiac arrest is equal parts this and NightmareFuel.]]

*** [[HilariousInHindsight Becomes even more funny]] once we learn [[spoiler:Cruella's forbidden to kill any living thing]]. What's the point of ''Angry Birds''? ''[[spoiler:To kill as many pigs as you can!]]'' No wonder she sucks at it.
* There's something [[BlackComedy terribly funny]] about her "explanation" for why she lied about [[spoiler:whether Maleficent's child was dead]]. It's the delivery that really sells it.

* Charming and Snow apologizing to Hook for [[spoiler:killing him in the alternate reality and Charming stating that it was not his fault; he had no heart after all. Snow then gets annoyed that he's putting all the blame on her.]]

* Emma's way of bribing Zelena into helping her? [[spoiler:Onion rings]].

* At the start of the episode, Zelena is reading a bedtime story to her unborn baby. The tale? "Hansel and Gretel." Which part? Where the witch is about to cook the children. [[BlackHumor Which she declares is her favorite part]]. Becomes much HarsherInHindsight, however, after Season Seven reveals [[spoiler:her connection with a different, and much more traumatized, Hansel...]].

** Whale also points out that he has the right to be snarky since last time Zelena was in his hospital she stole a baby and tried to kill Whale by tossing him across the room. He seriously hopes that it doesn't happen again. [[spoiler:The baby's fine, but Emma is quick to toss Whale into the wall a second time the moment she appears]].

* A bit of BlackComedy when Hook [[spoiler:rips out Merlin's heart]], courtesy of "Rumple":

Here she's not only referencing Regina's Evil Queen status, she's doing so by calling on the very information Regina will give her when training her two episodes from now, twisting the knife after Regina only revealed this to keep her away from darkness.]]

* When going through the books Wish!Rumple plans to use [[spoiler:to trap all the heroes alone forever]], Zelena's book seems to involve [[spoiler:being surrounded by fish at the bottom of the ocean while she's stuck in the Nautilus]]. She seems just as confused as anybody else.
* When Robin runs into [[spoiler:her younger self]], the kid's immediate reaction is to stick her tongue out at her. [[DeadpanSnarker It's]] [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold fitting]].

* In the very final shot, Emma's car is parked in main street; she, at that moment, is in the castle in a dress and her leather jacket. This means she ''walked'' the entire way. Given that she's barely able to walk in it, shuffling along the floor when she [[spoiler:arrives at Regina's coronation]], this means she must have left ''hours'' ago. ''No wonder'' she's late! Either that, or they were ''so'' late, Emma had to teleport them there.

* When everyone is [[spoiler:cheering at Regina's coronation]], Prince Neal is ''bouncing up and down in glee.''

** And as it turns out... [[spoiler:while she's this in the real world (or implied to be), she's very much not this in the FTW. The red still applies, though, just in a different way...]]

* Something for any Gold/Hook shippers out there; the door opens...to reveal Gold and Hook hugging. When they realize, Gold swears before turning to hug Belle instead.
* David's gun randomly falling out of his belt in the middle of a tense scene.
* "Did you ''know?!'' Did you know ''the whole time?!'' Where I was? Who I was from?! ...Who I was ''from''? Who I was from... God!" ''(cue hysterical laughter from Neal)''
* It seems that Graham didn't know how to use a handbrake when he first arrived in Storybrooke.
* "I broke the shackles. I'm ''free''!" ''(proceeds to pretend to punch and kick the guards)''
* David running towards the camera but losing his balance and trying not to run into it. The actor's "Whoa-hey-yo!" sound is what makes it funny for those viewers not otherwise distracted by the extreme close-up of the guy's crotch.
* The beginning of the real life RunningGag of actors being pestered by mosquitos in the middle of serious scenes.

* We find out what motivation is required for Hook to pick his handcuffs to escape his hospital bed. No, not his continuing quest for revenge. Not a wish to return to his ship. Not even his desire to flirt with any woman he meets or annoy Emma and company. He "escapes" because he's found a plate full of a jiggly, unnaturally-colored substance and wants someone to identify it for him. It's [[spoiler:blue Jello]]. Or in Snow's (exasperated) words: [[spoiler:"It's ''food''. You eat it!"]] The cherry on top is in the midst of all this, Hook finds time to flirt with Ruby.

[[AC:Season 3 Outtakes]]
* Rumplestiltskin upon being shown the storybook: "'Once Upon a Time'...[[ItWillNeverCatchOn how ridiculous]]."
* Yet again, everyone making the most hilarious faces.
* Robin Hood can't get his arrow back in its quiver.
* Hook doesn't know how to pilot the Jolly Roger...or jump in a horse trough.
* Rumple can't get Snow's necklace out of her hair...so they start dancing together. "Oh no, it's caaaaaaaught..."
* Emma is very frustrated with her coconut candle. And wants to get rid of the camera.
* Zelena gets caught in Regina's office...and [[WeakenedByTheLight freaks out in the flashlight beam]].
* Neal makes planes fly with his mind.
* Josh Dallas' hilarious imitation of Ginnifer Goodwin: "Sounds reasonable to me!"

The cast is in rare form this time.

* Once again, everyone mugging for the camera. And a whole series of moments when ''no one'' can keep from flubbing their lines. Special mention goes to Rebecca Mader screwing up Rumplestiltskin's name and Ursula "literally forgot what my line was, 100%."
* David imitating a cow during his farm scene with Anna.
* Emma can't think what to call her parents' heroic status. "The difference is you never held yourself up to be some...moral...virtuous...''being''."
* Despite everything, [[PortmanteauCoupleName SwanQueen]] remains alive and well. "Tell me, ''my Majesty''..."
* [[ShipMates So, apparently]], does the HoYay that is Charming/Hook: "Hook...I didn't know you were [[FreudianSlip enjoining]] us..."
** And becomes even more blatant when, after Emma kisses Hook, so does Charming. To which Hook can only say, "[[EvenTheGuysWantHim He's dreamy!]]"
** [[ShipToShipCombat Not to be outdone]], however, Gold also asks Hook for a kiss.
* David leaving his keys in the ignition, setting off an alarm.
* Speaking of loud noises, the foghorn...which Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin [[{{Gasshole}} react to]] [[ToiletHumor accordingly]].
* Hook genuinely managing a bull's-eye with the dartboard at Granny's.
* Emma flailing about with her magic while driving.
* Robin Hood suggesting Regina take a cab. Or Uber. And then mistakenly saying Marian "drove away."

* And as a CallBack to Season 2, she once again break free of her restraints during the scene with Maleficent and Stefan...and hits herself in the face with the chain.
* Emma and Elsa get disturbed at the town line by a helicopter flying over.
* Robin and Will Scarlet's competition/slapfest.
* All manner of hilarious shots of various characters dancing (Gold mugging for both Belle and Regina has to be seen to be believed), but the winner has to go to the surreal image of seeing Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff dancing with Hans and all of his brothers. VillainsOutShopping meets DancePartyEnding?
* Robin and Will Scarlet mimic the iconic Yellow Brick Road jig from the MGM [[Film/TheWizardOfOz Wizard of Oz]]...[[BreakingTheFourthWall and nearly run into the matte painting]].

[[AC:Season 5 Outtakes]]
* Jennifer Morrison had no choice but to ruin her first scene with Merida: ''(slap)'' There were three mosquitoes on my face.

* Amy Manson (Merida) genuinely hitting Robert Carlyle with the hilt of her sword. Twice.
* She also can't stop laughing every time she looks Ginnifer Goodwin in the face. (And the one time she doesn't, it's Ginnifer who cracks up.)
* Emilie's in such a hurry to get away from Gold she knocks a bunch of pawn shop items off a counter.
* Robert Carlyle has a booger.
* Robin Hood tries to draw Excalibur.
* Jennifer Morrison livens up a scene by doing some Mission Impossible-style somersaulting.
* Josh Dallas decides Killian's hook makes a good ear-scratcher.
** He also unfortunately decides to try and pick up Victoria Smurfit. "It's all gone horribly wrong!"
** [[{{Troll}} And writes a ticket for her abandoned car in Storybrooke]]. It's one of a whole stack of them.

[[AC:Season 6 Outtakes]]
* Robin Hood appears to Regina and Snow...when he's supposed to be dead. Snow points this out, but all Regina can do is praise how great he looks. And then he flounces offscreen like any of the show's fairies.
* The [[DatingCatwoman sexual tension between enemies]] returns with a vengeance. Zelena tries to smooch Belle, ''King George'' puckers up for David, Zelena and the Evil Queen start to go for it with tongue, and in one scene a pan-over reveals what very much looks like Zelena and Regina either attempting to choke one another or actually taking their makeout to the next step...
* Hook searches Rumple...to find he doesn't have the dagger on him. ([[GenreSavvy Did you really think the Dark One would, Killian?]])
* A RunningGag of ToiletHumor, with a large number of actors passing gas. For those who don't find this funny in and of itself, Lana Parilla's commentary on baby Robin doing so is much funnier: "That is a ''real'' fart, not a TV fart."
* David cracks up over Hook being unable to climb the beanstalk with only one hand.
* Gideon and Emma's swordfight: Emma actually steps right on Gideon's groin...then a few moments later when he sits up too soon, he rams his face into ''her'' groin.
* Robert Carlyle, of all people, screws up a line!
* Regina, regarding the Evil Queen: [[SpicyLatina "That bitch is gonna die today!"]]
* ''The entire'' ''RunningGag'' ''with the mosquitoes''. Seriously, ''no'' actor is left alone by them, they can't stop swatting, smacking, and flailing, eventually they go with industrial-strength fumigation, and it ''still'' doesn't get rid of them. Bonus points to Emma's in-character "Really?!", Ginnifer succeeding in smashing one (to a look of disgust at her hand), and Lana claiming they're filming "where mosquitoes are born."
* Lana can't say "alternate reality." And then bursts out laughing when she finally gets it right, still ruining the take.
* Belle can't get the door of the pawn shop open. And speaking of doors, the one to Regina and Robin Hood's cell in Rumple's dungeon won't close. Which of course leads to yet another CallBack: "I'm free!"
* Jennifer Morrison is so excited about her character's birthday she runs right out of the set and through the CGI-green screen wall. Perhaps as payback for this, she can't blow out the candle on her cupcake, to the point you'd be tempted to think it was one of those trick candles that re-light themselves.
* A cross with a heartwarming moment, but Pinocchio/August interrupting his reunion with Princess Emma by suddenly hugging her.
* Snow White can tie a cherry stem with her tongue.
* Watching the prop people handing Gideon a sword/taking away a sword, to represent them magically teleporting, but of course without the special effects. Emma: "You did it without the poofing, it's amazing!"
* Everyone stumbling over their lines (though as usual the best moments go to Josh Dallas).
* Hook keeps coughing during his lines, first with Emma, then Blackbeard, leading the latter to diagnose it as emphysema.
* Not only does Archie get to screw up a line again, [[OutOfCharacterAlert he actually says "Piss!"]]
* Regina's hair gets in her mouth.
* Hook, when rallying Nemo and the other Nautilus crew to hunt down the monster whose blood can get them back to Storybrooke: "Come on, gentlemen: let's get crackin'!"
* After the sheriff's car breaks down at the town line, David is prepared to shoot it out of its misery.
* Emma, Snow, and Rumple all randomly bobbing and then sinking down out of the camera view like they're dancing.
* In a DeletedScene, Emma is talking to Regina about Hook "leaving" her while flipping through files at the sheriff's station, ending with "there's nothing left to say." Cue a long minute or two of silence and paper flipping before she adds, "Seriously, there's nothing else to say, I don't have anything else" and Regina observing that's "because that's all they wrote."

* In [[RunningGag the series-long tradition]], no one can stay in their bindings. Victoria breaks out of her cuffs (and [[BlowingARaspberry Blows a Raspberry]], complete with the spread-fingered hand gesture), Robin breaks free of her chains, [[RuleOfThree and Alice]] [[SerialEscalation manages to pull the chain holding her right out of the set wall]].
* Colin literally spits one of his lines in poor Smee's face. And he also can't sheathe his sword.

* The trailers for new episodes like to have fun with the show and all the character names. The worst one? A trailer teasing Hook's backstory shows a clip of [[spoiler:Hook and Emma kissing]] and the voice-over calls it, "A surprising Hook-up."

* Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas' behind-the-scenes tour is almost nonstop hilarity. Highlights include:
** Josh Dallas cooking at Granny's (while whistling "Whistle While You Work") because "he needs some way to make money during the hiatus." And the story Ginnifer then tells about why he was so eager to be a cashier as a kid.
** Ginnifer getting lost.
** Finding Josh sleeping in bed, which leads into the RunningGag UnusualEuphemism: [[ItMakesSenseInContext "This is where we... make tacos."]]

** Jennifer Morrison running from the camera.
** Catching Lana Parrilla [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking eating a piece of cheese]]. "[[DeathGlare Don't look her in the eyes.]]"
** After constantly losing Josh, ''Ginnifer'' is the one who disappears...only to be found in the back of Gold's pawn shop, wielding the Dark One's dagger, [[LargeHam hammily]] indulging in her EvilLaugh. Which leads to her gesturing with it throughout the whole scene after (to Josh Dallas' increasingly unsettled freakout), until she actually walks off with it...which has the BrickJoke of her using it to slice and eat chunks of cheese. Though it does end with the nice heartwarming bit of Josh saying, [[ArcWords "I will always find you."]]
* In the Fan Celebration special, the actors are asked what the characters would do if there was no crisis in Storybrooke: Creator/ColinODonoghue speculates that Emma and Hook would, among other things, [[BrickJoke finally watch]] ''Film/BackToTheFuture1'' (in "There's No Place Like Home", Hook suffered a case of PopCulturalOsmosisFailure when Emma made reference to Marty [=McFly=]).
