** Gabimaru not taking Warped Keiun seriously at all by itself is hilarious. It's coupled with Warped Keiun being utterly unaware of how blatantly screwed he is and excited that Gabimaru warrants testing for all of his weapons.

* Right when it appears that Round 2 of the fight is about to start, the next scene is [[KilledOffscreen Keiun's body skewered]] by ''all'' of his weapons as Gabimaru wearily walks away. The Yamada are speechless.
** Not only that, Gabimaru points out to a stupefied Sagiri that [[WithMyHandsTied his hands are now tied up.]] As if say "See? This rule is dumb, but I'll follow it anyway so you won't keep complaining". She has no choice but to affirm it.

* Tamiya's reason for being sent to the island; Over a drink, a Daimyo that offered him employment [[BerserkButton doubted he could cut down a "real dragon".]] Tamiya snapped his cup and cut down the Daimyo's dragon plaque hanging on the gate to his mansion. ''And'' his gate.

* When asked what her motivation for surviving is, Yuzuriha gives a story about her younger sister and how she became a ninja to raise money for her sake. However, she then names the wrong valley in which the ninja she supposedly trained with operate. After that the story devolves into doodles as she lazily stumbles to make anything else up.

* Gabimaru kicking Hoko towards Sagiri, Yuzuriha and Senta for them to deal with while he chases Mei. This ''may'' or may not be him paying Yuzuriha back for her happily kicking back while he fought Rokurota.

* Mei, a little girl, judo-throwing [[TheDreaded Gabimaru the Hollow]] into a tree.

* Toma silently praises his brothers' deduction, telling his Chobe that he "needs to chew on this". Chobe took that response and pulls out an arm from the pit.

** He’s later locked back in his cell with [[ImmuneToFire his singed clothes]] and prods Sagiri for replacements .

* Nonetheless, she ‘’still’’ insists on binding Gabimaru’s hands even in the middle of Keiun charging at him.

** Sagiri has Gabimaru take her down so she can comfort the child. Gabimaru thinks;

* Once the group meets back up, they are at lost about getting info from a sobbing child.

* By the time they get there, she adamantly puts the bath in higher priority before any more exposition.

* Gabimaru and Senta end up being the only ones trying to focus on the mission. Emphasis on "trying" in Senta's case. He resists drinking anything until they finding out more about Hoko... until offers them a bunch of fruit. Senta proposes learning more about the island while his mouth is watering.

* Gabimaru making Mei feel better about her scar results in a skeptical and bewildered look on Sagiri's face. The sight of him saying something respectful is something that takes time to process for her..

** Sagiri on the otherhand ''does'' join Yuzuriha, saying she’s taking over monitoring duties from Senta since he won't join in. [[NotSoAboveItAll But not only is she wearing a towel, she practically melts when she gets in the bath before she can finish her excuse .]]

After relaying his and Genji's discovery of a field of Samurai that got turned into plants, [[MoodWhiplash the group immediately assume]] that he got the ingredients from ''[[IAteWhat those]]'' and Yuzuriha throws her food into his face.

* Sagiri studied the Sōshin after cutting them open and discovered that they had no genitalia. Something she was either reluctant to say or was trying to find the words for until Senta finished for her. Yuzuriha follows up with;
