* In ''The Bonds of Blood'', Enobaria doesn't even seem to know Chevy's name when her mentors send an alliance request for Chevy's tribute to him, even though Career trainees study the past games pretty heavily. Considering that Chevy won as a result of a rigged Games though, it makes sense that Boudicca and her trainers would have skipped over his Games (or at least downplayed it) for their students. Due to Chevy being [[ExecutiveMeddling given such an advantage]], Boudicca probably thought that they didn't need to bother analyzing what happened in his Games. Plus, she probably didn't want her trainees dwelling on the fact that sometimes, the Capitol (who she wants them to feel loyalty towards) rigs the Games against the Careers. [[invoked]]

* Cora tells Cecelia to take lessons on how to deal with being a SexSlave (and how to manipulate the johns) from Jade at the end of ''Fall into The River''. In the main story, Cecelia mentions pulling a LaxativePrank on one of her John's, while Jade's titular secret in ''Secrets'' reveals that she did the same thing, making it likely that was one of the things she taught or confided to Cecelia.

* In ''Arrow'' it might seem odd that Lyme doesn't spare any thought to her brothers as she takes in the devastation of Redfern, but the most likely explanation for this is that Lyme removed her brothers from Redfern after winning in order to support the lie that she was loyal to the Capitol (and perhaps to have them try to make other Rebel connections elsewhere).

* Silk is banned from betting on the Games due to being accused of receiving insider information. The reveal that many District 1 tributes (who Silk spends years training and learning about) commit SuicideByCop in the arena to avoid becoming {{Sex Slave}}s provides a bleak explanation about the probable nature of those bets.

To rebel against the Capitol would be to admit that, while killing so many people in the games, he was not in fact an agent of justice, a HeelRealization that might have been too much for him to face.
