* While plenty of the girls kept to themselves for one reason or another, either because of bad experiences or just personal decisions, they at least still had some positive relationships outside of that. But because of their physical and psychological problems, Shizuka, Kurumi, Ahko and Usami didn't have ''any'' close or lasting friendships. Most of their familial relationships are also unexplained, the sole exception being Shizuka's mother...who bullied and verbally abused her daughter in a misguided effort to get her to speak. It's not hard to see them as an allegory for the experiences of many neurodivergent teenagers.

* When the God of Love asks why Rentaro hasn't just explained the soulmate situation to his girlfriends, he says that he wants their relationships to built on genuine love and not obligation or the fear of death. However, the characters frequently break the fourth wall, refer back to past events by literally showing previous pages from the story, and ''100 Girlfriends'' itself exists as a manga within this universe. It's possible that the girls ''are'' aware of the situation, but also get to see [[WhatYouAreInTheDark Rentaro's true integrity, compassion and love for them on display, even in scenes where they're not around]].

* Even with the immortality drug, Yaku is implied to still be slowly mentally and physically aging. Unless Kusuri can make a drug to correct it, she's either going to outlive everyone or be rendered completely senile long before anyone else.

* When Shiina confesses to Rentarou out of a desire to join the family, he tells her he can only accept the confession if she truly loves him and isn't just using the group for her own gain. They had already had the zing, so he knew she was a true soulmate, but that logically implies that were a girl who isn't a soulmate to ask him out, he would have to turn her down just like the 100 girls that he originally asked out at the start of the series did to him, despite knowing this could break their heart.
