* Episode 10 reveals that Phyllo's martial arts is actually one belonging to Pyrid. That's why Lloyd is unsurprised by Phyllo's attack, because he had already learnt that style. However since he has shown to have some trouble with it, an aerobic exercise routine, it only adds to the idea that he feels that he is weak.

This seems like a massive stretch, based on the episode. The reasons they liked Riho and Phyllo had nothing to do with "sharp" senses, and Selen just got ignored because none of them understood what she was trying to do. Fridge stuff is usually more lax than actual tropes, but the entry has to at least make sense within the story's context.

* Why Lloyd's family prefer Riho or Phyllo as Lloyd's girlfriend? Because both of them have sharp senses that'll make them aware of danger. Something needed to keep Lloyd away from danger.
** The reason Alka, Maria and Selen are excluded is because, Alka is just Alka, Maria doesn't have fighting experience and Selen would be too deep into loving Lloyd to be any of use.

* Why is Chrome's food so-so and his cafeteria in a constant state of mess and greasiness before Lloyd came into the picture? It was always just a cover so he could stay in the city and monitor the officer's academy and the army to help Marie with her investigation into the King's mysterious changes in behavior. If he took the teaching position, not only would he have little time to dedicate to keeping tabs on people, but he'd also be highly visible.

* Why does Marie have absolutely no cleaning or cooking skills despite living by herself? She was a Princess up till 5 years ago, she's always had an army of servants that did all of that for her. It's only made more prominent because a fellow former noble Selen was forced to munch on dry rice grains as she didn't even know how to buy things with money.
