* It took WAY too long for this troper to realize this, but I wondered since I was young why Sasami would take the name "Sammy" for her [[MagicalGirl Magical Girl]] Persona. Then it finally dawned on me: "Sammy" wouldn't be pronounced the way it is in English with the hard 'a' sound, it'd be pronounced "Sah-mi" like the 'a' in 'achoo' as that is how the Japanese 'a' sound in pronounced. When you look at it that way, 'Sammy' becomes 'Sami', as in the last four letters of Sasami's name. It makes way more sense in terms of why the name was chosen, but it also brings about the question of why the in-universe characters in the original Japanese verision didn't realize [[PaperThinDisguise Sammy sounded really close to Sasami...]]
